Harrison's POV
I was in my office when a call came from Ann.
I contemplated on whether to pick up the call or not but I gave up answering thinking she was calling to talk about work related issues.
"How are you baby?",her voice rang through cheerfully after answering.
"Good". How are you?. Are you at work?.
"Not yet",she responded.
"What?."How come?",I said clearly disappointed as to why she has to ditch work and stay at home.
"I'll tell you when you get back home",she said in a whisper tone.
"Um..ok then".
"So..now let's talk about us ,and how our relationship's faring you know. I get bored since you haven't made any move. "You've never touched me ,kiss me and I really want you to do these badly Kenneth , I need you",she blunted out making me more angry.
"You know what Ann, I'm still at work, just so you don't know. "You are distracting me now.
"Oh so I'm a distraction now? Can't you just give me a minute",she whispered yelled at the other end of the call.
"I don't have it!. "Thought you knew me so well that I don't mix work with pleasure". "We'll talk later",I said and angrily pressed the end call button to end the call.

I arrived at home around 9:30pm, evening time. I found Ann still with her legs sprang out on my sofa and a pack of popcorn in her hands as she switched channels on Netflix.
What? Really? What bullshit is this?
"Oh hey baby, welcome ",she said upon feeling my presence. I dropped my briefcase on the counter and faced her as she came close to embrace me.
To say I was so disappointed in her will be an understatement. Who does that on working days?
"Oh Harrison don't tell me you are going to give me a cold shoulder again after our conversation this afternoon". "I didn't mean to disturb you you know, just wanted to clear things up between us that's all. I know you are always busy but you don't have to keep your girlfriend waiting that long huh",she said with her hands still wrapped around my neck. I quickly but gently unwrapped her arms around me to catch some air.
"The point I'm trying to make is that when I'm at work, I don't listen to personal talks",I said telling her vividly.
"So what if it was an emergency huh?",she said looking at me wide eyed
"Emergencies don't happen all the time , usually once in awhile.
"You know, I don't know why wanting to talk to you makes me feel so kinda awful". "Is it a crime to get close to you". Can't I call to frequently check up? ",She said irritatedly.
"What were you doing here at the time of the day? Weren't you supposed to be at work?
"I needed sometime off",she said quickly.
"You know what? All of a sudden ever since we got together,you've been less busy."Are you having problems at work?", I asked her demanding to know.
"No Harrison and look, I'll see you when I want to see you alright?",Ann said with a stress on each word that came out of her mouth.
I rolled my eyes and decided to leave before I say some more hurtful.
"Wow",I said taking my brief case and suit , brushed past her heading towards my room.

Julie's POV
At home ....9:30pm
"Really Julie?What same Ann you're talking about? Are you serious?",Juan said angrily when I told her about Ann's behavior yesterday.
"Yes", I said taking a sip of water from my glass.
"Ah! I told you. Now it has happened. I warned you about her". Wait a second, it happened yesterday and you didn't tell me?",Juan said with her eyes widely opened.
"I didn't want to make a big deal out of this ok?. "Besides, she was right, I shouldn't have interfered ,I shouldn't have stopped her from going to see her boyfriend".
"You should know where this is heading to Julie, you should realize your feelings for this guy before Ann ruins his life. "You know better than Ann does",Juan said.
"I don't know sis and I don't have feelings for my boss. "Are you listening to yourself? I can't fall for my boss!. He is my boss and what we have is totally business, nothing more".
"You're a crazy girl. "Who says an employee can't fall in love with the boss and it won't work?",she said
"It doesn't work in real life, bring your mind out of those romance novels and telenovelas, they are just for entertainment purposes, don't believe them".
"You're are wrong Julie, it really works in real life". " Who knows, Harrison may share the same feelings as you but you both are too stubborn to make a move first and that's what's causing havoc",Juan said chewing on a fried crispy chicken wings.
"I'm just realizing ....",I was about to say but Juan interrupted.
"Ha! Realizing your love for him? You've now admitted you like him right? Are your eyes clearer now?",Juan said teasingly
"Are you crazy?!
"Well I'm not but I can see the " I'm in love with Harrison look" in your eyes",she said dramatically.
"Just what are you saying?".
"I'm seeing something else..",she said looking into my eyes as if searching for an answer.
"Why are you being so dramatic".
"Whoa look at you!."I'm seeing the eyes of regret that says that "had I known Harrison was a catch",Juan said breaking out into laughter.
"You know what?."You're just a fool!",I said angrily, getting up from the couch and heading upstairs to my room.
Juan can be a tease sometimes. It's so annoying.
"You've lost him Julie! ."You keep going upstairs. You better start working on your feelings for him now!",I heard her say on my way upstairs still not able to control her laughter.
Is it that obvious? I'm I really falling for my boss. Oh God please don't make me. I don't want to loose my job", I tell myself on my way to my room.
