Chapter 6 - To The Hunter Estate

Elysia looked at her father, who was in the wheelchair, and then at his caretaker, Robert. His stepmother and stepsister were nowhere to be seen. Tristan must have thrown them out of this wedding venue. She was not worried about them, but her father. How he would live there, and she wondered if she should ask Tristan to let her take father and uncle Robert to her marital house.

"What are you doing here?" She heard Trustin's voice and she turned to face him. She had tears in her eyes.

"This is my fa-father, Joseph Trivino," Elysia replied with a stutter, "and Uncle Robert, who looks after him."

Tristan glanced at her father and wondered what he should say. He took a step to Elysia's father and got on his knees. "I will keep her happy, Sir," Tristancould only say that. Elysia wiped the tears from the edges of her eyes before they could fall.

Tristan patted Joseph's and stood up.

"Can we take them with us?" Elysia requested Trustin.

"Elysia, I do not think that you should ask for this. Mr. Trivino, if could speak, he would have refused to do it," Robert made her understand.

"But in that house—" she could not complete her words when Tristan assured her that nothing would happen to her father. His words were full of assurance. Elysia did not request him anymore when Tristan brought the phone to his ear. He commanded someone on the phone and then put it back into his pocket.

He found Elysia talking to her father, and he let her be. A man in a black suit and goggles came there and bowed at Trustin. "Stay in the Trivino family," Tristan ordered him. He bowed again before telling Robert to follow him.

Elysia told Robert that she would keep calling. He nodded and followed the bodyguard.

"Come," Tristan said, and she followed him silently. "My parents and other family members had left already. We will have to go to the Hunter Estate by a chopper," he asserted as they both walked through the pebble stone path.

"What? A chopper?" Elysia looked at him in bewilderment.

"Hmm."

"Where is Ethan? I have to see him too," Elysia stated.

Tristan looked around but the entire place was empty. "Maybe he has left," he stated, and they both went to the car. The bodyguard opened the door for them. Tristan gestured to Elysia to go in first, which she did. He stepped into the car after her and ordered the driver to drive.

"What happened to Brigetta and Artues?" She asked Trustin.

"They are sent back to the places where they both belonged. Now, for God's Sake, do not talk about them," Tristan got annoyed, and he raised his voice at Elysia.

Tears poured down Elysia's cheeks. She wondered if she made a mistake by agreeing with him. But if it was not for the sake of Brigetta's child, then she would have refused to marry him. She was stuck badly.

Tristan narrowly gazed at her as he heard her sobbing. He was such a jerk. He was not supposed to be angry at her. If there was someone at whom he should blurt his anger out, then those were Brigetta and Artues.

Tomorrow.

Yes, he would teach them a good lesson. Right now, he had to focus on Elysia, who was his wife now. He tilted his head and found out that Elysia had her head down while silently weeping. He did not know what to say in this situation. He had no experience with the woman, so it was difficult for him to even quiet her down.

He decided to let her cry and looked outside the window. After twenty minutes, the car pulled outside the helipad. The door from Trustin's side opened and he stepped out of it. He held out his hand for Elysia, who looked at him with misty eyes. She did not hold his hand and tried to get out of the car on her own.

She had put her heels on the ground and tried to take her heavy wedding gown out but found it difficult when Tristan held her hand and pulled her out of the car. "Sorry," Tristan whispered, and she gazed at him. To her wonder, his eyes were not on her. He held her hand firmly and took her towards the chopper.

This was a new experience for Elysia. She had never ridden a chopper when a pair of headphones covered her ears. "It is the fastest way to reach the Hunter Estate," Tristan said and helped her get into the chopper. Once she comfortably sat inside the chopper, he also wore the headphones and stepped in. The door of the chopper closed, and the pilot started the engine. He was ready to fly and asked them if they were ready.

"Yes," Tristan said. Elysia shut her eyes tightly and unbeknownst to her, her hand held the edge of the blazer that Tristan had put on. She moved closer to him, and he noticed that.

He did not say anything and lifted his hand to put it around her shoulder. She felt secure when his arm wrapped around her.

The chopper ride went smoothly, and, in an hour, they landed in the Hunter Estate.

Seven bodyguards were waiting for them and as soon as they stepped out, they all lowered their heads. Tristan and Elysia walked past them, again got into a car, and then left for the Hunter Mansion.

Her eyes widened when she saw a mansion before her eyes, which looked no lesser than a castle. The entire mansion was surrounded by golden lights. Elysia looked at Trustin, who welcomed her to his house.

Elysia followed Trustin, who was walking ahead of her. She was scared and nervous. She had married him, but she forgot about the consequences awaiting her.

She halted when Tristan stopped walking and found him turning to her.

"Why are you walking behind me?" His question perplexed her when he stood next to her. He held her hand and started to walk along with her, matching her steps.
