"Is this such a good idea" Kaius said?, looking over his mistress as she clutched the silver necklace in her right hand while seated in a lotus position on the floor, no answer came he did not mind as he has been with his mistress for many many years and if anything he welcomed the silence. As to answer his thought a gust of wind past by him he frowned he looked around to see if any windows were open but none were, he turned back to his mistress he wanted ask if she was but was cut off as she opened a eye and gave Kaius a light pleasant smile.
"I am confused what idea was not such a good one …. Mr. Becket?" Kaius flinched and he saw her light smile widened into a beaming teeth filled smile she continued " Is it my little blunder this morning or" she gestured to where she was seated just moments ago "and don't think think I didn't see you how many years since you have chosen that name" Kaius grinned " Like you are one to talk I don't see you shouting your chosen name from the nearest rooftop also name one student on campus that knows your name and you cant say Rakeal Mistress Sylelle" she raised a hand up to protest but she couldn't think of anything she knew what he said was all true "Fine fine and for the millionth time drop the mistress " "yes mistress" Sylelle glared at him "Serio- you know what never mind did you get the information I requested on those three?" Kaius nodded as he took out 3 brown folders that he promptly kept under his arm and passed it over to his Mistress who was standing in front of her magnificent desk but something caught his eye she took it with her left arm instead of her right if it was anyone else they might of missed such a in conspicuous minute detail but he didn't earn this position for his good looks he would ask his mistress about later so for now he moved the thought away Sylelle not knowing the concern her attendant had for her started reading while positioning herself on the corner of her desk comfortably she saw the file named Mariko which she put to the bottom of the three there was no need as she already knew everything that was needed she went on to the next one
"Jason O'brien 2nd son of the CEO of the Knightingale group" she read on in a audible jumble " test scores are passable enjoys partying" more audible muttering as she scanned through the information " I see so basically a frat boy who got in due to his families connections and it looks like he doesn't mind showing off his families money " she sighed " Reminds you of home hey Kaius" she looked up to see him smilling "indeed it does seems like there are those types in all worlds" she nodded "Seems like it now let see Seth -" she started reading and her eyes went wide "Is this all the information we have on him" she asked as she looked up "Yes that's all the information that the school has and what is commonly known" Kaius answered without missing a step seeing as his mistress was still not saying anything he took that as confirmation to carry on " he is a single child he lost his father at a tender young age of one and half months he was raised by a single mother who know lives in the Southern Most reaches of Africa teaching" he once again glanced at his mistress who was still waiting patiently he continued " Seth himself is a hard working student he is in actual fact he is on a scholarship here at our academy and has been making excellent use of it as he has not once scored below the top 5% percent of his class other then that he is a normal student a normal human" Sylelle nodded absently as she pondered something "A normal human you say now Kaius is it possible for a normal human to fend off a dream remnant " Kaius did not hesitate in his answer " Not possible the amount of will power needed to fend of a dream remnant is above human levels the most they could do is survive the ordeal as nothing more then a night terror but to fight one off is for all intents and purposes impossible for a normal human being" he then narrowed eyes quisically to his mistress "Why? Why are you suddenly asking such a question?" she everted his gaze "Uhm well you know I might have created one and sent it into his dreams and it seemed like lingering attachment that was left over in the necklace was a bit more potent then I realised and it kind of slipped my control" still everting Kaius gaze while twidling her fingers together she looked a young 6 year old girl telling her most embarassing secrets Kaius on the other just starred blankly at her his eye brows twiched "What!?" he bellowed " We need to get him medical treatment at once" not waiting for his mistress go ahead he spun around while searching his coat pocket looking for his phone to call campus security but just as he wanted to march out he froze phone in hand a errant thought ran through his mind "why would she ask if a human could survive a dream remnant the are notoriously dangerous but nothing much for him to fear" he pondered for a few more seconds and his eyes went wide as saucers he slowly started turning around back towards his mistress who now again was sitting casually on the side of her desk "Your arm and the gust of wind it was a forced release which created a backlash" looking straight at Sylelle.
"Astute as always Kaius well done" she said as she started raising her right hand that was clutching the silver necklace it was burnt not as bad as to be charred but definitely hot enough to cause blisters and melted flesh "That should be impossible!" Kaius shouted it was not anger in his voice but that of worry for his mistress "and yet it happened it seems like there is more to this Seth then meets the eye" looking into her burnt hand "Don't worry so much Kaius you know I will be healed up in a few hours" he hesitantly nodded getting some control over his composure "What would you like to do?" he asked she looked down at the floor before jumping lightly hoping off "Get Rakeal to follow them discreetly just to see if he is doing fine after my" she coughed "blunder" Kaius nodded "should we inform the order"
"No" there is no need to get those old foggies involved "Agreed anything else Mistress" he asked even though it pained him to leave his mistress in her current state he knew that his next task was going to be very difficult not very many could get Young Master Rakeal to do as asked as if she was reading his thoughts "No thanks Kaius I am fine for now but tell Rakeal that if he does me this favor I will help him in his training somewhat that should get him motivated" Kaius smiled "Indeed that will get Young Master Rakeal very motivated indeed" with that Kaius bowed and moved to exit his Mistress office.
Sylelle nodded agreement to Kaius's bow and she watched him leave her office she moved around her Grand Auburn colored hardwood desk and sat down in her chair with a Smile " Now this surely is a surprise to think I would find someone with THAT surname among my very own students" she leaned back into her comfy chair "Things sure are getting interesting".
