Esme opened her eyes slowly, then she looked up at the ceiling of the room which was dominated by white, she looked around her. The vintage feel is very thick plus the white curtains hanging above the bed add to the beauty like heaven. The decorative accent details such as chandeliers, window treatments, or furniture that Esme sees are very classy and also impressive and elegant.
As Esme recalled the events of that night, she remembered the last time the ghost girl's uncle took her to an empty building to stain her, and all she remembered was biting her tongue until it bled. Then he held his tongue and it felt strange why his tongue did not feel the slightest pain. Did what happened that night just a dream? If the dream seemed real to him or was he dreaming right now? Being in a very beautiful room.
Esme was guessing what had happened to her, then suddenly a man came up to her. They stared at each other for a moment, Esme was fascinated by the man in front of her, the man had an extraordinary allure, a charm that only a king had.
Esme's memory wandered to remember the incident where she seemed to have known this man before, suddenly her memory came out perfectly.
This man was the ghost of the very powerful man she had seen that night. Esme covered her mouth with her hands, it was true she was the ghost.
" Oh, God. I seem to have become a corpse" Esme muttered
The man looked at him in surprise that Esme spoke like that.
"Are you okay ?" Her question startled Esme.
"God, this ghost is talking to me," Esme thought as she continued to stare at him.
"Are we currently in Heaven?" Esme even asked back.
"What are you saying? You are currently advertising my house " he replied.
" What? Your house? Is this the house under your grave?" Esme looked at the man questioningly.
The man held Esme's forehead, then he shook his head in surprise "Is this the effect that you only realized after two days of lying down?"
Then he turned around and said "Come on, come with me! Let's eat, looks like your brain and stomach need to be filled so you can talk normally"
Esme was still confused, then she did what the man said, her stomach was really hungry.
Esme liked every neat and beautiful interior in the man's mansion, all the properties she owned seemed to be of great value.
Food served on the table The food is very luxurious and varied, but Esme doesn't understand why the types of food that line the dining table are mostly German specialties including gulaschsuppe , a thick soup made of beef or pork. There is also Falscher hase which is a typical German food made from minced meat mixed with eggs, flour, and onions. The rest he didn't know what the name of the food in front of him was, everything he just saw.
"Why just stare? Aren't you hungry?" he asked coldly.
"I'm so hungry. But is this real food?" Esme asked innocently.
The man in front of him managed to roll his eyes because the girl's words were very unreasonable.
"Why are you acting weird when you wake up? This is real food, look at this!" The man cut the stick and chewed it.
"Am I going to eat fake food?" He continued looking at Esme somewhat annoyed.
Then Esme said quietly "Uncle ghost, are we both in Heaven right now?"
The man wrinkled his forehead, once again he was made dizzy by the unreasonable babble of the girl in front of him.
"Are you testing my emotions? Why are you calling me a ghost?" he said in a slightly high tone of voice.
"Aren't I dead? Aren't you a ghost too? I saw Uncle that time when I was walking towards the metro station," Esme explained.
"You're still alive and I'm not a ghost either, I'm human just like you! My name is Oliver," he exclaimed with an annoyed look at Esme.
Esme was surprised, is it true that she is still alive, and is it true that the man in front of her is human? If indeed he is still alive why doesn't his tongue hurt at all, then if the man is not a ghost why is his aura so different also the ghosts around do not dare to approach him?
"But umm..uncle, if you are not a ghost. Why at that time uncle could make objects float around and could stop time and also the ghosts did not dare to approach, they were like afraid of the uncle," Esme asked curiously.
"I won't answer it!" Oliver snapped.
"But I wonder uncle, is uncle some kind of immortal?" Ask the original Esme.
Esme's question made Oliver pause for a moment, how could the girl know the fact that she was an immortal human?
"Why do you say that? Do you know something?" Oliver asked with a look in his eyes that seemed to be anesthetizing.
"Eh.. no, I'm just talking nonsense," replied Esme, smiling.
His stomach just kept rumbling, then he without hesitation said "I can eat right, uncle? I'm very hungry"
Oliver didn't answer, but Esme continued to eat her food. He ate very voraciously, and the food he served was delicious and incomparable. Maybe the same as the dishes made by Chef Ken.
It reminded him of his job, and how it would be when he came there. Will he be fired because he hasn't come for two days and hasn't given any news? For a moment it made him sad.
"Have you ever been to Germany?" Oliver asked suddenly
"Not yet," replied Esme.
"Have you ever studied German?" he asked again.
Esme shook her head "I've never studied anything, I can't even speak English" Esme answered innocently.
Oliver raised his eyebrows, he didn't understand why this girl couldn't speak German but when this girl was saved by him, the girl in front of him whispered to him in German. Oliver couldn't solve the mystery, because he couldn't even read the girl's mind.
This girl must have a secret that she doesn't know so she must solve it herself.
"Uncle, did you save me ?' Esme asked in a trembling voice.
" Yes. Do you want to repay Udi's debt to me?"
"Sure, Uncle. I will repay Uncle's kindness for helping me, but right now I have nothing to repay" Esme replied excitedly.
"I'm not asking now! But later I will ask for it"
"But uncle, why is my tongue fine, didn't I bite it until it bled? Does uncle have such great strength?" Esme stared intently at Oliver for an answer.
"I said, I won't answer!" Oliver replied coldly.
"Okay! I won't ask anymore," Esme exclaimed while pouting her lips.
"One more thing! Don't call me uncle, I'm not your uncle!" Oliver's orders.
"But uncle seems like a grown man and I want to respect uncle" Esme reasoned.
"I don't need your respect!" Oliver said.
"Okay, uncle .. Eh .. Oliver," he said with a cute smile and he continued to eat his food which had been delayed.
There was a faint smile on Oliver's face seeing the cute and innocent behavior of the girl in front of him. It had been a long time since he had smiled and felt something that tugged at his heart for thousands of years.
Esme's two green eyes, he could not read her heart, and there was only a feeling of longing that seemed to be slightly healed when he looked at Esme's shady eyes.
