Esme Fanette.
A young girl who is twenty-one years old, she was born in the city of Lyon, France. His life is very unpleasant, he is considered strange by most people with his ability to see many spirits. Esme was even considered crazy when she was talking to herself, even though she was talking to the ghosts that often approached her.
Because of her ability, her mother Lily Edwards often scolded and even beat her, Esme was considered a disgrace to the family.

After her mother left Esme and her father, Esme's happiness died instantly. After her mother's departure, Esme's father became a drunkard and gambled. His father often took his hard-earned money forcibly.
However, the only thing he was still grateful for was that his father had never once hit him. Esme survives and works hard just for the sake of living with her father. The only person who didn't leave him was living alone.
Sometimes Esme had cried, lamenting her life. Sometimes when he walks after work or at the metro station to see the harmony of the family he is very jealous. Esme wanted to have the warm feeling of having a small family, enjoying simple dishes in winter.
All those beautiful shadows must be buried, and no more laughter and no more expressions of affection between families. Things changed just as his father was fired from his job. His mother's once very loving and caring nature changed a hundred and eighty degrees.
There was no longer any warmth from his mother, all the time only the cursed words, the endless screams. Until his mother's attitude towards Esme became rude.
It's so easy for love to change in an instant when things don't go your way.
Esme did not think that love was easily broken just because of the material.
Esme does not believe that money and possessions can change love itself.

Esme tidying up his father's messy room, his father was sleeping very soundly even the sound of his snoring was very clearly audible.
Esme glanced at her father's sleeping face, the dignified and calm face that had always carried her in the past left only wrinkles and fatigue.
Esme took a slow breath, then she went to the kitchen to cook chicken soup for her father to relieve a headache or a hangover from being drunk all night.
After finishing cooking, then he got ready to go to work. When Esme was about to leave, her father had woken up holding his head still dizzy from the alcohol.
"I'm going to work first," Esme said goodbye to her father and Steve caught a glimpse of his son, then he sat on a chair drinking water.
"I'm making chicken soup, eat it to get your dizzy down and I won't be coming home tonight because I work until morning," Esme told her father.
Steve just nodded, he never said anything. That's what makes Esme feel annoyed sometimes because she feels like she's talking to herself.
Before Esme left, she turned towards Steve "Don't keep drinking and gambling, we have to save money!" Esme said in a suppressed voice.
After Esme's disappearance without the girl knowing, Steve bursts into tears. He felt guilty for his daughter and felt that he had not been a good father and parent to Esme. At her age, Esme should be able to go on dates and buy clothes or cosmetics.
There is a sense of regret that spreads in Steve's heart because his son has to work hard to support him.
Steve felt angry at Lily because it was the woman who broke his heart and even destroyed the youth of his daughter, Esme.
Steve walked into the kitchen, then he took a bowl, and poured the chicken soup Esme had made for him.
Steve muttered through the tears that kept flowing.

The restaurant was very busy and Esme kept busy with her work until she missed her lunch and dinner. His stomach could stand hunger, he had gotten used to it for a long time.
Then, he washed all the dirty cutlery deftly, Esme was very diligent, and even her boss often praised her because Esme never complained about the workload given to her. Even though she sometimes gets scolded, Esme never gets hurt. Esme doesn't care, scolding or insults are used against her.
" Esme, please wash these vegetables!" The chef orders Ken to him.
"Okay, Chef," Esme replied excitedly, then she nimbly washed the vegetables.
What Esme does never disappoints, and for that, the Chefs favor Esme, because the young girl is very smart and agile when ordered.
Esme handed Ken the washed vegetables. While Ken was cooking, the man whispered, "After your work is done, I'll be waiting behind you ."
" Huh !" Esme did not understand what Ken said. Esme just nodded weakly with a faint smile.
Chef Ken is a mainstay Chef and also a Chef who becomes an idol for the employees there. His brown eyes and blonde hair made everyone scream. Chef Ken was born to parents from different countries, his father is from France while his mother is from South Korea. A very charming combination was painted on his face.

Esme came to the back of the kitchen, there was indeed a place for a short break that was usually used by employees. Esme sat down straightening her legs which had not stopped moving since noon. When he was lightly massaging his sore legs, someone came over to him.
"Here, eat, I see you haven't eaten anything since noon," Ken's voice startled Esme and made her shoulders move.
"This is for me, Chef ?" Esme asked with her hand holding the brioche bun.
"Yeah, it's for you, I made it for someone else. Don't you want to eat it?" Ken said jokingly.
"How can I refuse, Chef 's brioche bread is famous in France and nothing can beat it!" Esme praised while eating it voraciously.
Ken smiled seeing Esme eat it voraciously in front of him, the young girl was very beautiful actually. Esme never paid attention to her appearance, this girl was very indifferent. Ken can guarantee that if Esme is good at doing makeup, she won't be much different from celebrities or models. Esme has milky white skin that is very adorable, even the color of her green eyes can drown anyone who sees her.
Ken never understood why a girl as beautiful as Esme liked to sit alone and often daydreamed during recess.
The only thing he knew, only Alette was familiar with this girl.
Ken smiled at Esme who was like a child as she ate the bread she made. This girl is very pleasant actually, not stiff or quiet like most people who judge her.
There is a feeling of happiness that runs through his mind Ken is now, but he doesn't realize what makes him happy.
