Chapter 21 - Fighter

BIAN

He was the most powerful of the trio.

As long as there is no proof, the crown prince must defend his two younger siblings, even if they have wicked intentions. Lan and Quan are still a family that needs to be looked for. He always did his duty, the duty of the elder sibling and the burden of a duke. Protect the people around him.

Bian came to a halt not far from the settlement.

As Lan and Quan faded into the distance, he smiled contentedly. After the two wusses have been gone, it is up to the strongman to clean up the mess.

It was like an old time when the three would dress up as commoners' children, play around the city, and meet the bully. Kun Bian stepped forward just as they were going to fight the mischievous boys. He beat up five people alone. Even now, nothing has changed. The strong would emerge and challenge them all if the physical brawl was confronted. Anyway, fighting was a leisure activity for him.

Daikun innocently parked stretched across the street while Bian sat on a large rock by the roadside. Dry grass pinching between his lips, he watched as seven horsemen rushed towards him,

Seven horsemen were taken aback to see Bian sitting there. One of them bolted from the group.

The man in all black greeted with his right hand clenched around his left. "Please excuse me, Sir. Why did you leave your horse in the middle of the street?"

"To block you out." Bian took a step forward, the blade still in its sheath, facing the horseman.

"Aia, why, Sir? Is there any concern?"

"There is, indeed. You are the source of my concern. Tell me who you are."

The seven riders dismounted and saluted Bian. One of them stood up and displayed a carved woodcut of a rooster. "We were sent by the Duke to escort you, Third Prince."

"What emblem is this?"

"That crest is the royal crest of the reconnaissance troop."

Bian couldn't recall the crest of the insignificant soldiers. He only knew the symbols for infantry, cavalry, and archers. They were planning to deceive. They would kill Bian and his two younger siblings when caught off guard.

These seven people have yet to act because the situation is still vibrant, and the three princes are still fit.

Thus Bian has the characteristic of not believing in anything. He examined each of their faces. "Father never told me about this."

"Yes... Yes, because the Duke sent us in secret." They were nervous and took their time to respond.

Bian was correct; they were evil people. The colossal man laughed loudly, like a lion roaring on the tundra.

"You think I'm a moron? You must wish to finish us off quietly. You must be people of Ning!"

"Huh? The third prince made a mistake-"

Bian beat the man back. "Ning people, you guys must be taught a lesson!"

"The third prince misunderstood!"

The man was kicked till he collapsed. His six friends had no choice but to satisfy the prince when he arrived. They fought without pulling out their swords. Perhaps they underestimated Bian? Bian became even harsher as a result of his suspicion.

The third prince didn't even draw his sword; he wanted to show that even his bare hands could serve them.

The guys in black fell backwards, one by one, in agony. Bian thrashed them mercilessly.

Bian's garments were crumpled. He laughed. "Shameful. You underestimated, and now look at what happened to you, assassin prick!"

"We are not assassins, so we don't draw swords, Prince—"

"Good thing!"

Coincidentally, some horseback riders were passing by. They were stunned and perplexed by what had occurred.

Bian yelled at the horse riders who were guarding the merchandise carts. "Welcome, you two! Tie up these seven individuals and transport them to the security guard's office! I'll beat you up if you don't hurry!"

The people were terrified of obeying Bian's demands. He burst out laughing when he saw seven people tied to ropes. He didn't think he'd find happiness today.

He inserted a round piece of wood engraved with a rooster into one of their mouths. Then, he patted his head. "Say hello to your Master. Send more men to finish me off, please." He turned to face the man on horseback, who was baiting three gold coins. "To you two. I apologise for upsetting you."

Bian got on the Daikun and was going to turn around when Lan's words made him turn around. "Aia, what are they doing?"

"Sister! What happened, and are you all right? "Lan, the innocent, inquired as he examined Bian's body from head to toe.

"Nothing. I'm just exercising."

"See, you worry too much." Quan discovered seven people being led by several horsemen hauling empty horses. "Eh, what's that?"

"The typical bad people. Let's keep the race going!" Bian pushed Daikun to overcome his two younger siblings. "You can't win against me!" His laughter rang out throughout the seventh sky.

He didn't like bothering the family, especially when Quan mocked him with discordant voices about strength and beauty. In any case, he didn't believe in Quan or Lan. They were vying for the throne of the Crown Prince. One of them may be out for his life.

"Wait, Brother!" Lan was the first to pursue this. His horse is an excellent racehorse. Weak, yet quick. "What actually happened?" he inquired.

"Focus on the game rhyme, or do you want to pay for the lodging, eh?" Bian laughed, his gaze fixed ahead.

After several hours of persistent riding, Bian noticed black smoke pouring from within the city walls on the horizon. Dense black smoke.

Perhaps it was the smoke from the culinary show?

"Look, city! We're nearly there!" Bian yelled, pointing to us on the horizon.

"Black smoke?" Lan had a deathly pale complexion.

BIAN wonder what Lan thought as he pushed Snowy faster.

Whatever had caused the boy to panic had to be something horrible.
