As instructed, everyone had arrived at the dining hall located in the main building of the Megans.
Xanny, her two younger sisters had arrived as soon as they left the ship dock. Jim who was taken by Dennis had also arrived in the hall in a different type of suit. He sat at the first seat of the dining table, close to where Mr Megan's seat is located.
Shortly after, the main person; Mr Megan arrived in the dining hall and he quickly approached his usual spot which was the seat that faced the remaining seats of the table. Standing by his side was a middle aged man, having a pair of glass on his eyes. He was known to always be by Mr Megan's side all the time, but no one knew his exact job.
Rumour had it that he was a manager to the faction leader, some said he was his personal assistant, others say he is a special advisor to him, but only Mr Megan and the person himself knew what his job was.
A long time ago, Mr Megan saved him from a near death situation and from that day on, he had sworn to always be by the faction leader's side, to protect him and help him do whatever he wishes to do, no matter what it was. Either to kill or save, he wouldn't think twice before doing it. That was why he was always seen by Mr Megan's side all the time.
As the faction leader sat on his seat, he had an expressionless face as he looked at the faces of his children that had arrived.
While looking around, he noticed that not all of those he was expecting had arrived. Three of his children seems to be absent. He could have just used his ability to search for them but despite the fact that he tried this, among the three children, he was only able to track one and was unable to track the remaining two.
People will wonder how this is possible. A man having an ability to see what was going on in different places, (no matter how far it was), but couldn't find two of his children who seemed to be around the party close to where the leader was.
The reason was because Mr Megan's ability wasn't really an ability. At least, not one belonging to him. The ability to see what was going on in different places was one that belonged to the animalia he bonded with. The animalia was an evolved dragonfly about the size of one's palm.
With the faction leader bonded with the dragonfly, he was able to use its powers and that includes communicating with multiple smaller dragonflies. He was able to order these dragonflies to stay at different areas in the faction base, while he view whatever was going on through the dragonflies' eyes in whatever area he wishes to see.
That was how he was able to see what was going on between Xash and Jim at the ship dock. He already had two to three smaller dragonflies set-upped at the area and no matter what was going on, he would be able to see them clearly. It was like viewing through a cctv camera, but this was much more faster and hidden than CCTVs. No one could suspect the dragonflies to be watching them. It was even hard to notice them since it had become a natural thing for everyone to see insect flying around.
Apart from the main faction base that these dragonflies were, the faction leader also made a few of them to follow different soldiers heading to the different factions they owned. That way, he was able to know what was going on faster than reading written reports from them.
Back to the main faction base; Apart from the ship dock and places that the leader had his dragonflies to be, there are also places that he couldn't let them stay a single second in them. Among these places is the clinic bay. Even though the dragonflies have evolved, they are still insects. They could be killed by insecticides since it was a chemical that was poisonous to them. The evolved big sized dragonfly could still fight against the chemical but the smaller ones could not.
And due to the clinic's constant use of insecticides, the dragonflies could only last an hour at most, so the faction leader decided that it was best not to put any in the clinic. So he had no eyes or any idea of what was going in the clinic.
Seeing that he couldn't find Xash and Ri anywhere, he guessed that they must have been in one of the places that he didn't have his eyes on. But the exact place… he didn't know. They could be in the clinic bay or the restaurant building (one of the buildings that was created for the people dwelling in the main base of the Villain faction. Lots of people on earth have come to stay in the Villain faction since it was the only safest place they could stay at the moment. Most of the factions owned by the government and world leaders are often targeted by bandits, assassins, and other factions running for the next world leader election. The only faction that wasn't suffering any damage from others was the Villain faction, at least they weren't big enough to be broadcasted on the news.)
The restaurant building was built for visitors and people living in the faction to buy food and drinks, and it was also one of the establishments bringing in income for the Megan family. And just like the clinic bay, insecticides were also being used in the restaurant. The only difference was that the insecticides in the clinic was to kill mosquitoes while the one in the restaurant was to kill cockroaches. But unfortunately, it could kill the dragonflies too, so Mr Megan had no eyes on the restaurant too.
The man standing beside the faction leader, Jace Harrison could also notice the absence of Xash and Ri, so he called for the person that would most likely know where the two was, Ki, Ri's younger sister.
"Do you know where your sister is?" He asked.
"Yeah, she took Xash to the clinic bay for a treatment."
"A treatment?" The ears of the others could perk up the words that was spoken by Ki. And that included Xanny who started feeling uneasy that something might have happened to her brother.
"Xash had a wound on his chest, so she took him to the clinic bay for a treatment but I expect them to have arrived here a long time ago, I wonder what's taking long. Maybe perhaps the wound was serious than we thought." Ki assumed, but inside of her she was doubting that to be the case. Xash looks fine to her when they came to stop him and Jim from attacking each other but what could have caused them to take this long.
'Did a fight occurred between the two of them?' Ki was worried but she knew her sister was strong enough to fight Xash. But then she recalled Jim having burnt clothes, could it be that the fire ability friend of Xash had appeared and had fought with her sister, making her lose a lot of her energy to open a portal?
Scared that this fact might be the case, Ki started panicking and had turned to face the Villain leader.
"I think something might have happened in the clinic bay, I'll quickly teleport and bring them both here once I find them." She said.
Xanny immediately stood up from her seat as she said turned to face Ki; "Take me along with you, as you said something might have happened, the two of us should be able to deal with it together." Xanny said with multiple thoughts running through her mind.
