After Tate and Xash switched controls, she stood by the mind controlling chair as she watched what was going on outside. She could see that Jim was charging towards them and although his footings were a bit wobbly due to how drunk he was, he was so persistent in killing Xash.
'Run!' Tate said.
'Why are you telling me to run, do you think I'm so weak to fight someone like him?'
'That's not the case Xash. I must warn you, if Jim gets a little more closer than this, you'll end up in the same state as before. And don't even think I'll help out like I previously did.'
Xash understood what she was saying. The fact that Jim was running towards him must mean he was attempting to do something. He could have just attacked from where he stood, but he kept on coming closer and closer towards him.
And that was when Xash came up with a theory. He theorised that Jim's ability only works on opponents standing close to him or perhaps he needed to touch his opponent before his ability could work, cause that could only explain the reason why Jim was heading closer to him.
Without waiting for any more warnings from Tate, he attempted to do something, and that was when he suddenly turned invisible, making Jim wonder where he had gone to.
Jim stopped on his track as he noticed that the person standing in front of him had suddenly disappeared into thin air. He shut his eyes and open it to see if he was seeing illusions or something but the result was the same. There was no sign of Xash.
Meanwhile, the former who was now invisible to his surrounding watched as Jim stood in one place opening his eyes and shutting it. He was ready to fight in his invisibility form. Although it was more like having a revenge on the person who drew blood from him.
'Blood for blood, pain for pain. I'll pay you back for taking down some of my health points. I think I've grown too soft ever since transmigrating into this novel world, you guys need to be taught a few lessons and I will gladly do that for you.'
Walking towards Jim as silent as he could, he had the broken neck of the bottle in his hand as he plan to hurt Jim with what he used against him. He was ready to fight back but in ensuring so he must get away from Jim as soon as he lands his hit on him. He didn't want to end up in the same situation as before. So he walked a little bit more careful than before.
Although the ability will soon end due to it nearing its cooling off time. Once it reaches that, he won't be able to use his ability for a good one minute after. So whatever he needed to do must be done as fast as possible. And that includes his movement. He sped up his footings but was ensuring it wasn't making any noise that will make Jim aware of his presence.
'Time to deal with this idiot!'
As he got closer to Jim, he pushed the broken neck of the bottle onto his back. It was unexpected for Jim who wasn't aware of Xash sneaking up on him. He was stabbed at the middle part of his back where his hands couldn't reach.
"Arghhh!" Jim shouted as he tried to reach for his back but wasn't able to remove the broken bottle in time.
Seeing this as an opportunity to attack, Xash lifted his two arms and sent two fire balls at the struggling Jim. Luckily, he was able to move out on the way but wasn't lucky enough as the sleeve of his cloth caught fire while he was dodging the second fire ball.
"You crazy idiot! Do you plan on killing me!" He started blowing on the burning part of his cloth to keep out the fire but it kept on spreading till it reached the top of his arm. Thinking of what to do, he started searching for a way to put off the fire and had ran off to a distance.
As soon as Jim was gone, Xash immediately turned visible. Actually, the invisible ability has ended and was on its cooling off time. He won't be able to turn invisible for the next one minute.
A mischievous smile was visible on Xash's face as he successfully deal with Jim without being stuck by his ability.

"Well, it looks like I'm getting closer to level ten. I must admit but I'm leveling up way faster than I thought. It makes sense since I have an overpowered ability. I'm still weak compared to the protagonist. But that doesn't matter since I'll soon catch up with him." He said to himself.
Just as he stood at his position, looking at the system, he saw a large cylinder of oil being hurled at him. The length of the cylinder was as tall as Xash while the breadth is bigger than him. It appears that the cylinder was intentionally thrown at him.
Rolling to the side, Xash was able to move away before the cylinder could hit him. One hit from the cylinder will send him flying backwards and he's sure he'll end up losing most of his HP. Right now, he was able to stop his bleeding from the wound he sustained from the stab but his HP was still dropping by bits. He held onto his stomach as he tried to regain his balance after rolling away from the cylinder.
"But who the hell is strong enough to carry something as heavy as this." He approached the cylinder and saw that it was one having a chemical liquid inside of it. On the side of the cylinder was a warning sticker of highly flammable chemical placed on it.
From the side of his eyes, Xash could see someone walking closer to him. It was Jim, and by his side was a huge man with bulging muscles. He was two times taller than Jim. He was almost like a giant but not particularly a giant.
"So that's the monster who threw the cylinder at me. Why is everyone after my life in this novel world." He gritted his teeth as he watch the duos stop at a few metres away from him.
