As the fire burned into embers, Emila finally made her way back to her tent. While everyone had been complimenting her for behaving as un-princessy as possible, she had still done something 'princessy'.Every one of the people in the camp had been sharing a tent but she had refused to do so.
A personal tent had been set up for her alone and as she crawled into the sleeping bag, she was relieved at her decision. Maybe it was her own imagination or it was because the people were curious about her, but she had been feeling eyes on her every moment of the day. It made her feel like a clown while at the same time making her feel uncomfortable.
Finally, as she stretched out on her back, she grabbed her phone to scroll through it. There were a few messages form Amy asking about her safety and well-being. She knew, of course, Amy was worried about her and had multiple questions about whatever had happened but at the moment, she had no strength left to explain.
