The car halted in front of the apartment complex. He had parked his car in the parking lot. Li Xia strode out of the car. Her feets stumbled once on the ground due to the alcohol she consumed herself. Luo Yuan quickly caught her arm and supported her weight.
"Careful," he whispered against her ears, sending shivers throughout her body. The feeling is so unfamiliar yet so familiar. She quickly shook her head and broke free of his grasp, "I'm fine."
Luo Yuan nodded and let her go. Li Xia hurried up to the entrance of the apartment building. Luo Yuan followed quickly behind her. As they arrived at their respective apartment. Li Xia fumbled with the keys as she tried to unlock the door.
"Can we talk?" Luo Yuan asked in a low voice. Li Xia's fingers fumbled even harder but managed to unlock the door.
Without answering his question she entered her apartment and then closed the door in his face. Luo Yuan stood by the door watching her silently.
