"It's quite peculiar to see you living in this area," Zai Hai said, breaking the silence as he slowly pulled his hands away from Luo Yuan's hold.
"This place is quite special for me because of someone," Luo Yuan responded with a diminutive smile on his lips. Taking notice of Luo Yuan's words, a smile formed on Li Xia's face, and her eyes glistened with delight.
"Is he talking about me?" Li Xia blushed while tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Zai Hai's eyes instinctively veered towards Li Xia as he noticed her blush. His heart ached comprehending that she probably like Luo Yuan.
"It's getting late. I will take my leave," Zai Hai
stated as he pivoted towards Li Xia with a fake smile plastered on his face and extended his arm out towards her.
"Good night," Li Xia said as she smiled brightly.
Zai Hai walked backward for a few steps toward his car. Turning around he looked at them one more time before entering his car and driving off.
