"So this is how it feels when someone special waits for you," she felt butterflies crawling up her spine, her heart beating furiously in her chest. She swallowed hard. Taking a deep breath, she continued her walk towards him.
As he saw her approaching he removed his gaze from his watch and looked at her.
"You are 15 minutes late," he said sternly, staring at her. His stare was so intense that it almost seemed intimidating.
Li Xia walked nervously and tried her best to hide the nerves.
"I'm sorry, I overslept," she apologized while trying to appear calm and composed.
"Sit in the car," he responded but there were not any emotions on his face, it was just an expressionless face.
Feeling nervous Li Xia followed his instructions and climbed into the passenger seat. She buckled her seatbelt before he got into the driving seat.
