Li Xia poured the noodles in the bowl carefully, while Luo Yuan sat on the couch with his head resting on the backrest of the couch, his eyes closed, his glasses folded and placed on the table.
Li Xia picked up the hot noodle bowl and strode towards where Luo Yuan was seated. Her steps slow, steady in order not to drop the bowl. She bends down to place the bowl on the table when her eyes snagged on his sleeping figure. All the time she was so busy making noodles that she didn't notice he slept.
"He must have been exhausted," Li Xia mumbled quietly to herself. She walked over to the couch and sat beside him. She leaned against him, her arm leaning at the backrest of the couch.
"Luo Yuan?" she spoke softly.
