Roman have received his final year results and he's done great, not as excellent as he usually performs but given the sacamstances he's done very well, he forced his father to celebrate his achievements on breakfast, so they invited his grandmother over.
"why is the table this full, oh hello mom, how are you?" yildiz was surprised
"your son here wanted to celebrate his pass" yildiz's mother said
"wow you really deserve this and more son, I'll take you out today" yildiz said sitting down
"I kind of promised him the same thing, so we might as well just go together" Randy said not looking at yildiz
"okay you go ahead with your plans today, I'll take you out tomorrow" yildiz said
"well actually mom today is the only free day I have, remember I'm going to Swaziland in two days with uncle Luke, and when I come back I have a practice week for the big match, then the shoot for back to school advert" Roman said
"aren't you too busy for your age Roman?" yildiz said with eyes popped out, they all laughed
"I just don't get why you'd want to go with uncle Luke, it's not going to be as fun as you think it'll be you know" Randy said at Roman
"he already told me that, but I'm trying to grab every opportunity of traveling with hands, I want my cv to be very impressive, and uncle Luke is cool, he's got vibes" Roman said half dancing
"or you'll just be a baby sitter while they have their time of their life" yildiz said poking him with her tongue
"what? and that is actually why they invited me over, geez I wish I have refused, why didn't I think of that?" He said dramatically making his parents laugh
"suits you just fine" his father said
"my sweet little cousin isn't troublesome though, but I thought I was going to paint that country red you all" he said pouting
"so where are you going?" yildiz asked still laughing
"we don't know yet, pops?" Roman asked Randy that ignored that question at the beginning
"uhm, anywhere you wish to go son, shopping, lunch, movies, bowling, ice skating, you choose" Randy said
"I want them all, but not around here, why not in the city dad, please, just for today and tomorrow then the two of you will come on the third day while I go straight to uncle Luke?" he pleaded, hey agreed.
"mom you'll have to sleep here for today and tomorrow then" yildiz said
"it's fine, let me leave before I get late again, see you when you come back" her mother left, they also went their separate ways to pack their stuff, yildiz helped Roman pack for this and the Swaziland trip, then they went to wait at the living room for Randy, he came looking so helpless
"can you please help me pack" he asked yildiz
"ask the maids" yildiz said without doubt
"uhm mom, just go" Roman pushed her mother
"no, ask your maids my king" yildiz said sitting on the couch,Randy called one of the maids, after ten minutes he came with his luggage, Roman kept giving his mother looks
"what?" she asked
"you could've just helped him mom, he's helpless without you" Roman said whispering
"I don't care" yildiz said that then looked at his son with so much regret
"I didn't mean it like that okay, but, oh gosh, whatever" she said the drive to the city was quiet and long, but finally they reached their destination, they went to Randy's old house, it was around 11 am, so they all just slept a bit to rest.
3 pm Roman woke them up
"get up, let's go paint te town black" he said
yildiz wore here tracksuit pants, with a tight vest and sneakers, Randy also wore the same, Roman seaw what his parents wore, he went to change what he was wearing to match them, then Randy drove them to the mall, they went to watch a movie from half past 3 to 5 pm, then had dinner, then went bowling, then ice skating, by the time they were done it was very late, they had meals again then left.
in the morning he woke them up again, they bathed, yildiz was in jean shorts, biggy vest and sneakers again, they boys wore their jean shorts also with bug vests, and sneakers, yildiz rolled her eyes when she saw them.
"dou you have to match?" she asked
"we are a family, we match" Roman said.
they had their breakfast in a restaurant then went to the caves, then went ride merry go rounds, then went to the ride horses, had their lunch, then went to see their big five, then went sky diving, then went to have their late picnic at the zoo, watching the animals and the moon.
"this was a perfect day, thank you guys" Roman said
"you're welcome son" Randy said
"can you guys try to work your issues out, mom please, I really need the both of you together" Roman said holding his mom's hands
"Roman baby just go enjoy your time with your uncle and forget about what's going on between your dad and I, okay?" yildiz said
"but mom" ran said
"baby I can't promise you that, I'm sorry, but you and I had an agreement, until that we don't talk about this baby please" yildiz said, Roman just nodded, he was hurt, his father was too, they looked at each other
"baby can we just try one last time for him, please" Randy said, yildiz stood up and packed their stuff
"I should have known this trip was to team up on me, force me to forgive you, I should've known" she said
"no mom please, I swear that's not this is about, mom I'm sorry, I was just being selfish and not considering how you feel in all of this, it's my fault, I'm sorry" Roman said holding his mom's hands
"Roman we spoke about this, why the sudden change?" she asked
"I thought maybe this would remind you of how you need each other" Roman said
"of course we need each other, we are you parents, divorced still, we will still need each other, and you will more times like this, Roman can we just stick to our month plan?" she asked
"yes mom, and thank you for doing this for me, I appreciate you, dad I appreciate you guys, I love you so much, I can't picture life without you guys in it" Roman said, they group hugged.
it was time to go back, in the morning they took Roman to the airport then drove back home.
"it was a breath of fresh air, away from the royal attire" Randy said making small talk
"bruh, I miss my old life" yildiz said
"right? that's why I loved the city" Randy said.
"now I see, damn, I wonder how they'll react if I walk in the palace with a bum short" she joked, they laughed
"I don't even want to picture their faces, that would be history" Randy said laughing
"I miss you" he then said
"don't, not now" yildiz said
"when then?" he asked
"Randy just stop" she said.
"but I do miss you yildiz, I'm struggling without you, I can't cope, I need you" he said
"I will not respond" she said.
"what can I do to fix us?" he asked.
"can you undo the things you did?" she asked
"no babe but I..." he wanted to elaborate
"then you can never fix us" yildiz spoke
"wow, I'm sorry for hurting you that much, I'm deeply sorry for being the person that brought you so much pain instead of joy" he said
"I'm sorry too for not being enough for you" She said
"you're more than enough for me, I'm just a fool" he said wiping his tears
"don't you dare cry Randy" yildiz said, it's like she opened his tap of tears, he kept wiping them until he parked by the side of the road since his view wasn't clear anynore, yildiz hugged him, and he let it all out, he cried loudly like a baby.
"Randy stop please" yildiz said
"I'm so sorry yildiz" he said that between his sobs "I love you, and I know I don't deserve your love but I love you still, I hope one day you'll forgive me" he cried even more. after thirty minutes of crying, yildiz drove as he sat on the passenger sit, he still had tears falling but he wasn't making any sound
"do you regret choosing me?" he asked
"I do, I regret loving you" She said, he nodded, but was hurt, very hurt.
"so I guess you'll never forgive me" he said.
"might never, but I don't hate you, I want us to be civil" yildiz said
"are you going through with the divorce?" he asked
"I will, I just made a promise to Roman that I'll give it a month, but I've thought about it and I think it's the right thing to do, otherwise I'll loose my sanity" yildiz said
"I'm so sorry, I pictured us an old couple with grandkids, I've ruined it all didn't I?" he said.
"you did" yildiz wasn't making things better
