Sanguis royal academy, the only place outside the bleak woodland where the four dominant races of the earth interact together. No powers allowed, as they were suppressed by the enchanted protections in the campus.
The Ghandara civilization was when invaded by Alexander the great. This academy found it's roots by the four lords centuries ago. When the human lord seized the occult portal, 3 centuries ago only this place was allowed to have werewolves, warlocks, witches and vampires. The best among best would be qualified to enter there. By the passing time human kind forgot this place and it became an abandoned institute, which was quite a privilege for the three races. The institute filled with dark aura and snowy surroundings screamed dominance.
After centuries it once again opened the doors for human kind. The current human lord thought, that maybe if we keep the person who we want to protect in front of the eyes of enemies. No one will even be suspicious about it.
The strategies were surely made to keep situations under control, but she messed it up by opening the blood book.
Raven yawned recklessly, after taking her little nap during exam as the bell rang. The final exam which was worth life for normal students, for her it was piece of cake that she nailed an hour earlier.
Walking through the corridor of her high school, she covered her face hiding in her own baggy hoodie. As she always scored the highest everyone would give her the look of disgust.
She smiled to herself and said, "One last day and the misery ends. Calm down Raven, everything is under my control."
This was it, someone threw rotten eggs at her and she closed her big duo eyes tightly muttering under her breathe, "Oh no I was wrong ! nothing is in my control."
Three young girls, the triplets and daughters of Duke of Hydrabad. They looked same and toxicity was no less in them. They walked towards her with arrogance, and mocked her in sync speaking together, "Oh my, Oh my we thought it was walking garbage." Oh only heaven knows how badly she wanted to avoid them on her last day but no. They bullied her and people laughed at her. Suddenly lights of corridor started to flicker and Raven found her hand strongly held by someone as they ran out of the school and it was already dark. Before she could comprehend the situation she saw more of the people from the triplet's gang as her breathe hitched and she started to get hiccups. A honey voice calmed her as that warm hand again held her hand tightly and pulled her into the woody area of high school to avoid the gang. She looked into the eyes of that person and it amused her as she thought those navy blue eyes were so unreal.
The winters and unusual warmth of his hand confused her, as she thought which feeling is shocking the cold night or his warm hand that warms her entire blood.
He calmed her down when he reached a safe place with her and said, "It's okay girl they will not hurt you. Things are under control." He got scared when he saw her crying. Her brown duo eyes started to get red as her tears trickled down and she started to cry even more with hiccups. She spoke in her broken voice, "Nothing is under control. Why am I hated ? Is it my fault that I score more then them ? Is it my fault that I am prettier then them ?"
It was the first time ever in his life, his navy blue eyes softened when he looked at the weak crying Raven. His shady lips wanted to utter something but he found every word worthless that could calm her down. His veiny arms stiffened and huge body in his red hoodie looked like he is ready for the move he should have prevented. Unknowingly he suddenly hugged Raven tightly crushing her into his chest and spoke softly caressing the back of her head, "No more miseries girl. This world do not deserve you. They envy you because they know how special you are !"
She cried her heart out in his arms and he kept caressing her head till she calmed down. In no time she found herself losing the consciousness and getting into slumber.
Meanwhile someone quietly looked at them, clenching his fist. He remained in the shadow his eyes turning golden with rage.
The alarm rang and she woke up, a little disappointed as she thought she again dreamed her imaginations. It was three in the morning when she started her jogging, running through the lanes she slipped on hard ground with a thud and groaned loudly. He from the dark smirked and spoke, "You must dare not to let anyone touch you."
As he was going to move from there, he heard an ironic chuckle and saw a huge blue wolf. He smirked and spoke, "You disobeyed her. Do you know the consequences ?" The wolf spoke, "I am an Alpha and a prince. I have my choices to make. Neither you nor her will control me anymore."
He closed his moon shaped grey eyes and sighed loudly, he called Principal Khan and spoke, "It's time to send her where she belongs."
Next morning was new, the final result was out Raven as usual was the topper. She got the mail from Sanguis royal academy. She was an exception as a commoner who will study medicines in royal academy because of her extraordinary intelligence for free.
She knew no one was going to be bothered by her presence or absence at her home, so she thought to just leave a letter before leaving.
She thought to herself, "This is the last time I entered this hell." The picture of her mother, few books and the print of recommendation letter along with her few clothes she left.
Khan sighed and spoke to himself, "Seems like my old bones have a lot to struggle yet."
On the other hand he sniffed his red hoodie and smiled to himself cheekily saying, "I thought everything will be under my control, but never thought she can control me."
The person with grey eyes felt a pain in his chest and groaned speaking to himself, "I just hope things are under control this time."
The crooked one eyed woman laughed loudly and spoke, "No matter what you do ? How you do ? The things will be controlled by me just the way I did three hundred years ago."
So much secrets, so much tricks, so much confusions how will he save her ? How will he keep her ? A long way to go, a whole trouble to deal with but he was determined and she was unknown to all.
