They stepped into the city of stones (Taxila) as the cold breeze lingered onto frames.
"Kavah cantt the remote place guarded by army, as if it holds many secrets. Our school is going to be here the next five years." He exclaimed with excitement "I hope this is going to be smooth, not like last 19 years." She muttered to herself but Zephyr heard it and spoke, "What if it's more challenging, will you not face it ?" Raven sighed and spoke, "I just don't feel like fighting anymore Zephyr. I want peace and a smooth simple time just for me and myself."
Suddenly Zephyr stood in front of her stopping her from moving, he gave her an intense stare and spoke softly holding her hands, "Are we friends ?" Raven gulped due to the intensity of his stares and silently nodded her head. He smiled cheekily and came closer to her ear whispering, "Okay let's make a deal when you will feel like you need peace and you don't want to fight anymore. Just tell me I will take you far away to the place where no one will bother you."
This was the first time someone talked to her like this, she chuckled and spoke, "What if you change your mind and the deal expires?"
He snapped his fingers and took out a chocolate from his sleeve speaking, "let's seal the deal with sweet chocolate so it will not expire." Raven chuckled and spoke, "A medical student who knows magic. Deal is worth it I guess."
They stood in front of a huge entrance, which seemed colder then ice and darker then night. A long way to move on foot that will lead to the administration's building. Usually group of students laugh and giggle around there is hustle bustle in other institutes, but this one was extraordinary it was quite yet eerie. The interior structure of every building was so royal, it was the mote and bailey structure with dominant black stone's features. The Sanguis Royal academy with every kind of court available, something unusual was every area of the institute felt like it had different temperatures, somewhere cold, somehow mild, somewhere hot and windy.
"Are we the only ones here ?" Raven asked in confusion. Zephyr chuckled and replied, "Raven Shah you little stupid genius, this academy is alive at night. They sleep in the morning." Raven made a pout while trying to process the fact, "Don't do that in front of me." He said seriously making her even more confused, as she pouted again. "Oh shit." He groaned and closer to her ear he whispered, "This pout do not do it in front of anyone." Her big brown orbs widened in shock as she gulped hard moving away from him and nodded.
They entered the administration building and were welcomed by the weird scary receptionist who used an old typewriter to continuously write her document. She looked at Zephyr and stood up but he directed her to not reveal him by his actions.
Raven was restlessly waiting for the future as a familiar voice spoke from behind, "Okay little Raven ! You have always been a great student and now it's the time to fulfill a dream you had for a long time." She turned around and gasped in shock uttering, "Principal Khan ?" He smiled at her and spoke, "Chief Khan here. This time I am going to teach you forensics." She smiled widely bowing to him and exclaimed with joy, "Oh how lucky can I be today. I found a friend Zephyr, you as my teacher."
Khan chuckled and spoke, "The thing is this institute allows 5 students from outside and a teacher. So here we are together again."
Zephyr bowed to him and Khan replied, "Mr. Zaidi I am looking forward to witness your intelligence." as he smiled and spoke, "And I am looking forward to learn a lot from you."
The dorm which looked like a royal castle was cold and eerie as Khan took them toward their assigned rooms.
"Seventy rooms on every floor, two people in one room. Each floor has a teacher assigned too. No gender discrimination all are equal, no violence is bearable." An old woman the caretaker explained slowly.
They reached a corner with four rooms in a row Zephyr was assigned the room next to her.
Khan caressed her head and assured, "Have some rest we have long way to go little Raven." She nodded as he left her there. Zephyr yawned and entered the room tiredly giving a last glance to Raven assuring, he is by her side.
She entered her room and gasped loudly at the red royal interior thinking to herself.
"The Sanguis Royal Academy...! How can you be so love able ?"
