The most surprising part about Sir Trenton's appearance was the way his armor was coated head to toe in the black blood of monsters.
The only part not covered in blood was his head, likely due to him wearing the helmet that he carried in his large arm.
Henry wanted to call out to his knight, but instead, he ended up coughing. It caught Trenton's attention and his intense hazel eyes turned to his apprentice who he had been worried about.
"What happened?" the knight asked the younger man. "I got here as quickly as possible."
Without warning, an even larger presence walked through the opening of the tent and Henry felt himself pale at the sight of the commander. He tried to stand up in order to show his respect, but Sir Trenton quickly pushed down his shoulder and shot him a stern look.
"One day in the battlefield and you've already managed to get poisoned," the commander observed. "What did the healer tell you?"
