Chapter 91 - Unlucky

Before the days of alarm clocks, 

the knocker upper was around to give you a shock,

with a huge pole on your bedroom window he did tap, 

to wake you from your comfortable nap. 

Wearing a large mac, hobnaill boots, and a watch on a chain, 

he caused cotton mill workers considerable pain, 

creeping around the cobbled streets in the dead of night, 

giving the slumbering masses a terrible fright.

 

Ralph watched as the buildings passed by quickly. He couldn't stop thinking about everything that was happening. Nor could he stop himself from burning inside.
