After I blacked out, I found myself in a pure white space with nothing but a massively gigantic throne and an equally gigantic man with a depiction of the universe on his garment. I strained my neck to look up at him and could barely see his eyes peering down at me like God himself observing a mere mortal. Yet, instead of fear, I felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity, as if I had returned home or was enveloped in my parents' embrace.
Our gazes locked for an eternity, with my neck aching from the strain of looking up at him. Still, I refused to back down, sensing a challenge in his piercing stare. Finally, he spoke, his voice like thunder on a summer day. "Interesting. Not even your siblings can manage to look at me for more than ten minutes, and you, a mortal, have done so for over an hour without flinching."
I swallowed hard, my mind racing with questions. "Who are you, and what do you mean by my siblings? I only have one sibling, my younger sister Aurora. And what do you mean by 'as a mortal'?"
Origin, the being before me, smiled, his eyes twinkling like stars. "I am the Origin of all things. I created the Blank Space, the Outer Verses, and the concepts of Life, Death, Creation, Destruction, Void, Chaos, and more. I am the true omnipotent being. Your siblings, in this context, refer to the aspects of existence, and you, too, are a concept. However, due to your nature, you began as a mortal, destined to awaken your divinity and ascend the Conceptual Throne."
My mind reeled as I struggled to comprehend the enormity of his words. Doubts crept in, and I voiced them. "How can I trust you? Why reveal this to me, and not the other concepts? Why am I so special?"
Origin's expression turned enigmatic, his voice taking on a hint of melancholy. "I see no reason to deceive you. A competition is forthcoming, a contest among all concepts, including you, to inherit my powers. I seek to end my existence, bored with eternity. And you, my little Concept of Conquest, are special because... I am your biological Father."
My world shattered, like fragile glass dropped on stone. "Wait... WHAT!!!!!!!!!??!!!!!!"
Origin's smile grew wider, his eyes sparkling with ancient wisdom. "Ah, but you see, my child, the other concepts are indeed primordial beings, born from my essence. They have shaped the universe, guiding the course of creation. However, they have grown stagnant, bound by their own definitions. You, on the other hand, are different. Your concept is fluid, adaptable, and hungry for growth. You have the potential to surpass them all."
I felt a surge of trepidation mixed with excitement. "What do you mean? What makes me so special?"
Origin's gaze seemed to pierce through the fabric of existence. "Your concept is Conquest, but not just any conquest. You embody the essence of evolution, of growth, of transcending boundaries. You will challenge the status quo, push the limits of what is possible, and reshape the universe in your image."
I struggled to comprehend the enormity of his words. "But what about the other concepts? Won't they resist?"
Origin's expression turned solemn. "Yes, they will. They will see you as a threat, a disruptor of the balance. But that is the nature of evolution. The strong adapt, the weak perish. You must be prepared to face their challenges, to overcome them, and to claim your rightful place among the primordials."
I steeled myself, determination burning within me. "I'm ready. I won't back down."
Origin's smile returned, his eyes gleaming with pride. "I knew you had the spark within you. Now, go forth, my child, and forge your destiny. The universe awaits."
