'My goal now must be to complete the character mission, because while it is important to get stronger I will be free after the character mission and I will get a massive boast on the system coins', thought Rain as she put on her maid outfit.
Rains Room looked like Merlins, and most of the big bedrooms look the same. The blue-haired girl leaves the room and began talking to herself. 'My objectives for today are that I will continue showing Merlin the house and let her ask the questions she has for me.'
When she arrives in front of Merlin's door she stopped and began knocking on it. Immediately Rain heard the withs voice through the door. "Come in", said the voice, where you can hear already the eagerness in it. Rain opened the door and sat on the stool opposite Merlin.
"Let's start I see that you still have questions for me.", said the demon, she was not very much in the mood for the questions and what to say to her if asked about herself. "Will other people of your world also come here", asked Merlin. The best for her to know right now is if a being, which would cross her plan comes here.
"Not right now, I was sent here to get information and they will not send a new one here if I contact them regularly. But after I was will return another person will probably take my place.", that was mostly the truth, but about a few things Rain lied again.
After a few minutes of silence Rain looked at the thinking face of Merlin she heard her next question:" Will someone stronger or weaker than you come here after you?" The rain didn't know how to answer that question because the next draw will be based on luck. It has a high chance to be better, but could also be worst.
"I don't have information about who will come after me", tells Rain Merlin who had a sullen look on her face. "How old are you?", said Merlin, this was something she wanted to know very much because Rain said she was a primordial demon so one of the first ones. But the answer was not the one she expected.
"I have not been living long on the human world, but have existed since the beginning of the universe. Sadly we demons can't leave the demon world without help from the outside if we do not have a traveling skill.", the explanation was very helpful to Merlin, she had a deeper understanding of the demon's world than before.
" That will be my last question for today because I would like after you answered, you would show me the research lab.", tells Merlin, and, with a nod from Rain she continued. "Why would you serve a demon lord?"
For that answer Rain didn't even have to think, because she uses the same reason as the original Rain: "I fought with him and he was stronger than me so I became his servant." Merlin listens to the explanation carefully to not miss anything. 'Who is the demon king this question is now important. I only know that he is the oldest and one of the 8 demon lords.', thought Merlin.
Rain stands up and processes to tell Merlin to follow her before going to the laboratory. It was not very difficult to get to, you must do the stairs down you can get to the dungeon. Rain stands in front of the door and tells Merlin:" This is one of two laboratories in this house, I will show you the other one tomorrow because I didn't clean it."
The rain opens the door and Merlin can see the inside of the lab. It was a mix of a modern lab with all sorts of equipment, the other side was an open room where you can freely use magic. The two sides were not cut in half by a wall or something, but as a mage, Merlin can feel the barrier over the room.
"If that was all I would now leave if you have more questions contact me", tells Rain to Merlin before leaving the room. Merlin who was left behind was not against Rains' actions, because she has new equipment to test.
As Rain was walking back to her room she can think about her past, she can't remember much of it only the knowledge nothing personal. She didn't know if Rain's personality was infecting her. She had some things in common with the original Rain but doesn't know if she was like that before the merge or not.
This night neither of them could sleep. One was too busy experimenting and the other built a golem to do most of the housework for her. The demon hates doing chores.
