It is now half a year ago that Rain and Ban meet. For the last half a year the days were very ordinary, meeting Ban and exploring the kingdom. She and Ban have now a very close friendship where Ban trusts Rain with all his mind. Now, something happened that Rain finds interesting. Ban told her about a friend he meet in the streets and that his friend is also a thief.
For Rain, it was now the time she thought was best to leave as it was now the beginning of his story in the anime. On the next day at their daily meetings, she tells Ban what she wanted to: "Ban I had only a little time in the Kingdom and must now come back to my home".
At that news, Ban reacted very shocked and immediately spoke with a panic-filled voice: " What should I do if you go, please don't leave". Rain spoke to him in a calm voice that had a relaxing tone: "I came here for a mission and had a time limit, even if I didn't complete the mission I would need to go back now. I stayed here as long as I could".
After a minute of silence, a sad-sounding voice broke it: "Will I be able to meet you again." The boy looked very hopeful at the woman in front of him. In the time they were together, they formed a strong bond of friendship. "I don't think we will meet again but a friend of mine will come maybe in a couple of years. I hope you will remember me".
After Rain said this she stood up and left the house but before this, she gave Ban a last present. This present was a book on cooking. After a few minutes in his hideout, a young boy lay crying in his bed. Rain after a short look back teleported back to her house as her mission was also completed.
When she arrived she opened the door to be met by Merlin sitting at the table and waiting for her to sit down. She knew that Rain was there because the witch had used a spell that informs her of any visitors. Rain was away for half a year and Merlin had many interesting questions that came up while she researched.
The first question was: " How was your visit?" To this Rain had a simple answer:" Interesting, It is most of the time the technology so much worst than the worlds where nobody can use magic." As Merlin heard that a new bunch of questions were in her head. The words that came out of her mouth were:" It gives the world where there is no magic?"
Rain said to get Merlin exactly where she is so that the demon can reveal information so that Merlin will trust her more and more. Even if the witch trusts her now it must be more as she must influence her after 80 years. Because of Merlin's long lifetime of over 3000 years, this can only be archived, if she makes that 10 years very interesting.
"It gives a world where the magic rules are so weak that nobody can use them. It gives also a world where magic can only be used by a bunch of people or where they use energy that is produced in their bodies". That was more information than Merlin asked for but it was welcome and she asked for the detail that came to her head immediately: " Can you use it?"
"Unfortunately I can't", answers the Rain. " But my mastery over magicrules is good enough that I can do what they can." Because of that Info, it looked like Merlin's brain had to do a restart. After a minute of silence, she asked a question that had interested her for months. " Have you tried to mix the different types of energy?"
