She nodded at me. She looked at the other two.
"Now then, you three must know who I am. Nevertheless, I shall introduce myself. I'm Captain Ann Kinterson. My title is "The bewitcher".
She looked at me.
"You must know why"
I nodded at her obediently.
"As you know, it has been a tradition for the last 12 years for the top three scorers of the fourth trial to meet me. The reason for this is simple. I have a special ability unique to my bloodline. While I'm sure Miss Christina and Miss Nicola know this, I'd like to make sure Mr. Schleider knows it."
"I do know, Captain."
She seemed unconvinced.
"Bloodlines are a secret passed down in major families. Miss Christina is part of those families. Miss Nicola belongs to the Brownwitch family which, although isn't a bloodline family, is a highly credible one. It is only natural that they know. Mr. Schleider. Can you tell me, how did you get to know about this?"
"Um…my dad told me," I said.
"Oh, and who might your father be?"
"I was told not to reveal it to anyone"
"Maybe that statement was meant for a normal person. I, unlike them, am a captain. Just tell me. It won't leave this room. I assure you."
"F…fine. My dad is Th-"
Suddenly green mist appeared around me.
Captain Ann immediately knelt down. After that, I felt a palm on my shoulder. I look up to see whose face it was. It was the master again! Did he come here to save me from this situation? Thank goodness! The others were also very astonished at his arrival. However, Nicola wasn't as surprised as them.
"Master! Why are you here?"
"Ann, I'm sure you are curious as to whom his father is but it is not time yet to reveal him."
She seemed confused for a moment or two. But then she decided to put her loyalty first and curiosity second.
"Yes, master!"
"Good. I'm sorry for disturbing your session with these young talents. I shall take my leave now. You can continue"
"Yes, master!" Captain solidly replied.
On his way out, the master secretly winked at me. I did not know what that wink was for. Just who was my father? The captain and Christina seemed to have the same question. Of course, Nicola was not too surprised. Her ability to adapt to a situation managed to impress me. The captain cleared her throat.
"Ok, let's continue," she said after regaining her senses, "Mr. Schleider, I apologize for prying in your private matters, and since the master interfered you must be quite the character"
She looked at me in an impressive way. She looked at Christina.
"Dear, would you mind telling us about your family bloodline?"
