Chapter 92 - Chapter 92 A Grave Accident

"It's really different," lying on the bed with his both eyes normal, Shung Yun said as he checked out his hand raised above his face.

Dropping his hand down, he stood up to his feet as he prepared to leave the room and move towards the deck.

Bam!!

Losing his balance and falling down as the ship vigorously shook, he held unto the bed as he used it to aid himself.

"Turn the masts!" the captain shouted at his crew as he spun the helm of the ship in order to control the stumbling ship.

"Why would there be such a great storm at this time of the year!?" one of the crew member shouted as he pulled the rope connected to the fore mast of the ship.

"Does that even matter at this point!?" a second crew member shouted as he climbed on the yard arm of the main mast.

"Incoming!" he shouted as he saw a huge wave falling towards the ship from a distance.

"Captain, turn the helm to the right!" the crew member pulling the rope of the fore mast shouted as he caught sight of the incoming wave despite the thick fog on the sea.

Turning the helm of the ship as fast as he can, the captain remained standing despite the swaying on the ship on its quest to turn away from the direction of the sweeping wave.

"We, we won't make it. Captain, we have to abandon the ship!" the crew member on the yard arm of the main mast shouted as the wave got closer towards the ship.

"Shit! I shouldn't have chosen to leave for Chufan City today," the captain's expression looked ugly as he prayed for a miracle from the storm god.

  Drrrm!!

A white light illuminated the surrounding around the ship as lightning streak through the sky.

"Th..that was close," goose-bumps covered the arms of the crew member climbing down the yard arm of the main mast as he stuttered.

Coming out from the room below deck, Shung Yun shouted due to the roars of the waves, "what's going on?"

Hearing the question of his generous customer, the captain shouted, "we're caught in the middle of a storm."

"Is there a w....," Shung Yun was interrupted by a loud shout from the crew member climbing down the last yard arm of the main mast.

"Brace yourselves!!" the crew member shouted as he tightly hugged the pole of the main mast in front of him, preparing for the inevitable clash with the approaching wave.

Receiving the warning of the crew member, Shung Yun quickly found a stronghold to grab on to.

Bam!!

"No!!" a crew member standing at the quarter deck screamed as his hands loosened from the stronghold he held after the tumbling of the ship due to arrival of the wave.

Holding his breath as his entire body submerged into the blue sea, Shung Yun held onto the stronghold on the ship in hopes of the ship flipping back into its original position of staying afloat.

Drrrm!!!

Blinding tore through the thick fog covering the sea as a thick white lightning struck down on the flipped ship and splitting it into two[2] halves.

No longer having any hope on the ship after its destruction, Shung Yun let go of his support before tapping into his reserve memories brought from his previous life as he began swimming towards the surface of the blue sea.

"Hah!" exhaling out after his head emerged from the sea, he could hardly get to rejoice before a huge wave smashed down on him.

Bam!!

Sinking deep into the sea after getting smashed by a wave, Shung Yun shook off the burly images caused by the dizziness of his mind as he went with the flow of the sea instead of going against it, retaining a lot of his strength to swim back to the surface of the sea in the process.

Bam!!!

Having a larger wave smashing down on him just after getting to the surface, he decided to swim a few distance away from his location to see if he could escape the fate of getting hit by a wave after swimming towards the surface of the sea.

!!

"You got to be kidding me!" cursing out as a wave gradually formed in his location, sweeping him upward and raising him above the surface of the sea, he chose to avoid resisting the flow of the wave and finding a way to escape from his predicament.

Bam!!

Unable hold his breath any longer, lots of sea water flooded into Shung Yun's mouth and nose as they found their into his brain.

Slowly losing his consciousness as his limbs lost their strength, his eyelids weakly flickered before gradually closing as he sank deeper into the darkness of the sea.

"There's really something about him," the lower-stage male youth of twenty[20] said as he inspected the shredded part of Nuo Long's mouth after his roommate left the room.

Seeing the symbol carved on Nuo Long's tongue after washing away the blood on it, he felt a sudden wave of dizziness enveloping him before it immediately vanished at the next instant.

"I should head to the library to figure out what it is," Du Nie said as he wrapped the shredded mouth with a piece of clothing before sending it into his storage ring.

Getting up from his bed and leaving his room, he walked through the paved routes of the outer sect segment of the Flowing River Sect before arriving at the library a few minutes later.

"Good day, Elder Lei," Du Nie said as he walked into the three-storied round building of the outer sect segment.

"Good day, Du Nie. How are you preparing to for the outer sect exams at the end of the eighth month of the year?" the middle-stage middle aged lady sitting behind the wooden desk in front of Du Nie asked.

"I've done the best of my abilities. My fate will be decided by the might of storms," Du Nie said as he headed to satisfy his curiosity after receiving no response from Elder Lei.

Searching through various historical and knowledgeable manuals and scrolls, he found two[2] information describing mystical characteristics related to certain parts of the body.

Looking at the first scroll, he saw the following:

Five[5] Identities of Truth – Acknowledge

Six[6] Verdicts of Truth - Words

Seven[7] Sounds of Truth - Hear

Eight[8] Tracks of Truth - Scent

Nine[9] Paths of Truth - See

Going through the second information which was presented in an ancient hide, he saw a drawing of a face with two[2] different colored eyes, two[2] ears on the left side of his face and none on the right, an opened mouth with a symbol on the surface of the tongue, and having no nose on it.

"Primordial," Du Nie muttered as he read the words written at the bottom of the monstrous drawn face.

"Is it the name of the existence who owned the head?" he muttered as he tried to guessing the connection of the drawn head and the name written underneath the head.

Lightly knocking himself on his head, he sighed before keeping back the scroll and the hide in its original position, "you shouldn't be worried about something so distance."

"Ug…," softly giving out inaudible sounds as he regained his consciousness, Shung Yun felt sticky and slimy substance enveloping him.

"Where, where am I?" he thought as he tried moving his hands around him in attempt to tear through the slimy substance on him.

"Hyoar!!" a deep heavy roar sounded out as the sound waves slammed heavily into Shung Yun's sea of consciousness, stirring deadly waves in order to successfully penetrate the protective barrier surrounding his consciousness in the form of a fog.

Having a mini wave flooding around him, Shung Yun had a rough guess of his location after the events a while ago.

"I'm inside the belly of a powerful creature that lives deep within the bottom of the Fog Sea," he muttered as he endured the hideous smell originating from the sticky and slimy substance surrounding his body.
