Chapter 278 - Chapter 278

These rainforests are found in the region of Southeast Asia, which is made up of 11 countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The rainforests cover a vast area, spanning over 1.4 million square miles, and are home to a diverse range of plant and animal species.

The rainforests in Southeast Asia are known for their high levels of biodiversity, with countless species that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. These rainforests are also vital for maintaining global climate stability, as they act as carbon sinks and help regulate temperature and rainfall patterns.

This abundant rainfall creates a unique ecosystem that supports a myriad of life forms. The Southeast Asian rainforests are known for their incredible biodiversity, with an estimated 20,000 plant species, 1,500 bird species, and countless insect and animal species. Some of the most iconic and threatened species found in these rainforests include the Sumatran tiger, the Bornean orangutan, and the Asian elephant.

These rainforests also provide a vital source of livelihood for millions of people who live in and around them. Indigenous communities have been living in harmony with these forests for centuries, utilizing their resources for food, medicine, and shelter. In addition to their ecological importance, Southeast Asian rainforests also play a crucial role in regulating the global climate by absorbing and storing vast amounts of carbon dioxide.

Therefore, their preservation is crucial, not just for the region but for the entire planet. Efforts are being made by governments and conservation organizations to protect and restore these rainforests, but it will require collective action and a concerted effort to ensure their survival for future generations.

The rainforests of Southeast Asia are a priceless and unique natural resource that must be preserved for the benefit of the entire globe and all of its inhabitants. These woods are currently under attack from a variety of monsters that humankind is unable to defeat with the help of contemporary technology. In addition to endangering the wide variety of plant and animal species that live in these rainforests,

but also throws off the ecosystem's delicate equilibrium. Some plants and animals noticed changes in their surroundings due to the energy emanating from those creatures' bodies both dead and alive entering earth . The disturbance has already trigger a domino effect that is now affecting more ecosystems and could result in permanent harm to the planet's biodiversity.

The unknown diseases and infections that the monsters brought with them to Earth posed a major threat to animal and human populations. The already serious situation could get worse if these illnesses spread quickly and cause widespread illness and deaths. In addition, the flora and fauna were uprooted and unintentionally killed as a result of the monsters' destructive behavior and habitat invasion.

This has been a major worry, and the confusion was made worse by the addition of the ethereal energy, which everyone knows originated in another dimension. In addition to fueling the monsters' anger, the inflow of ethereal energy upsets the delicate equilibrium of our own world. Due to their inability to adjust to this alien energy, native creatures experienced unanticipated repercussions like mutations and erratic behavior. as is the monster were unconsciously terraforming the planet to change to accommodate their existence, and create a suitable habitat for them to live and thrive on,

and forcibly eradicate the only thing standing in their way, and that is us humanity ,

It became increasingly clear how urgent it was to save our planet's biodiversity as scientists hurried to find a solution. However, conflict between the people who lived here and the people who came to take advantage of us was unavoidable.

Humans never back down from protecting their way of life, even in the face of an otherworldly threat. The clash between humans and mythological beings intensified, resulting in a battle for survival that would determine the fate of both worlds.

It was easy to see the negative influence on the terrain as the four warriors raced in the direction of the lich. The ground shook, trees were uprooted, and the stench of devastation filled the air. The battle's chaotic forces were destroying the once-vibrant and diverse ecology, leaving behind a barren wasteland.

It started to rain. The sounds of people and unknown sounds of savage creatures were gathered as they got near the location, and because the rain was distracting the sounds, they gained a slight upper hand on the situation as they were able to move stealthily through the chaos. The warriors relied on their heightened senses and instincts to navigate the treacherous terrain, using the cover of the rain to their advantage.

Ramiel was disappointed in seeing what the lich did to the area; nearly a mile of forest was completely decimated. The once lush and vibrant trees now lay broken and lifeless, their branches twisted and charred. The devastation was a stark reminder the these creatures of rot and decay will never cease their destruction. Ramiel's heart sank as he realized the magnitude of the lich's power and the danger it posed to their world.

Even with his limited power, attacking the lich was no longer a problem as he was accompanied by his stepfather's men, who were skilled warriors and had faced similar threats before. They had come prepared with enchanted weapons and protective spells, ready to confront the lich head-on. Ramiel felt a glimmer of hope knowing that he wasn't alone in this battle,

He rushes into a sea of ghouls and other undead creatures that the lich has summoned, the rain pattering down his skin. Ramiel could see the lich, its dark aura vibrating with malevolence, at the very end of the huge army of undead. Wearing a traditional black, worn-out robe that covered its entire body, it held a staff made of decomposing human flesh and bone, which served as both the source of its power and the artifact preventing them from communicating with the outside world because the entire area was already covered in a thin layer of negative smoke that resembled a dome.

Additionally, it was weakening the Ethereal warrior's power. It was as though the very air around the lich had grown dense with darkness because of its oppressive presence. The depths of its wickedness were reflected in the unholy light that glowed in its eyes. The lich's evil might seemed greater than that of the ethereal warriors, who had once been strong and powerful.

They also felt it, but Ramiel mental fortitude allowed him to resist the overwhelming despair that radiated from the artifact. He knew that if they were to have any chance of breaking free from its grasp, they would need to find a way to neutralize its malevolent energy. Ramiel's mind raced, searching for a solution that would restore their power and allow them to communicate with the outside world once again.

Ramiel ordered the three warriors to assist the other fighters as much as possible while they charged into the ongoing battle. Sao Đỏ Vietnam League captain Duy Gia Hoc was still forcing his way to obtain the lich coordinates, but he was running out of arrows to shoot; the large quiver bag on his back was full of hundreds of arrows before but now its was empty, so now he could run around and reuse the arrows he shot to ill the enemy by evading the hordes of ghouls in the battle zone and grab the arrows and shoot it at close distance in a repeated fashion,

This was exhausting for him, but he couldn't give up since he could see the desperation in the eyes of his fellow Ethereal hunters, adventurers, and even the healers who were still there at the back; their numbers were steadily dwindling as many succumb to exhaustion and battles wounds, the situation was getting worse. With each arrow he was able to recover and just constantly aim for the enemies head, he was desperately trying his best to reduced the number of enemies he had to deal with, increasing the chances for his allies. The burden of duty became heavier on his shoulders with every second that went by, yet he knew that their survival hinged on his unrelenting assault.

meanwhile Vietnamese and Cambodian tankers with heavy tactical shields were getting pinned down as they continued to move in a slow phase , they were making sure their few ethereal healers were safe. Personal arguments and internal conflicts were put aside as they fought together for a common cause. The archer's precision and skill became a beacon of hope for his comrades, inspiring them to push through the chaos and stand strong against the enemy.

Con Cháu Bà Triệu League captain Kim Huong was seen wielding his axe like a true berserker should. Kim Huong is half American and half Malaysian; he got his father's huge physique and his mother's refined, gentle, reserved, and discreet personality. He stood six foot five and weighed around 240 pounds. He was lean and bulky.

When in his berserker mode he was a raving force of destruction, unleashing his fury upon anyone who dared to cross his path. His sheer strength and ferocity struck fear into the hearts of his enemies, making him a formidable opponent on the battlefield.

He has a somewhat competitive nature and always strives to be the best in whatever he does. Whether it's a friendly game of basketball or a high-stakes martial arts tournament, Kim Huong gives his all and never backs down from a challenge. His determination and relentless drive push him to constantly improve himself, both physically and mentally. With his combination of raw power, discipline, and unwavering focus, Kim Huong is a beast with in any arena he enters.

his constant dickering with Sao Đỏ Vietnam League captain Duy Gia Hoc was still forcing his way to obtain the lich coordinates, but he was running out of arrows to shoot; soon became a source of amusement and inspiration for those around him, as they marveled at their unwavering commitment to come out on top. their competitive nature was infectious, inspiring others to push themselves to new heights in their own pursuits.

Until an unforeseen friendship was born based on respect and numerous skirmishes with each other, as they show their battle scars to prove their point, Despite their initial rivalry, Kim Huong and Captain Duy Gia Hoc recognized each other's talents and began to appreciate the dedication and hard work they both put into their craft. This newfound bond led to a mutual understanding and a shared desire to help each other grow, ultimately leading to a friendship that transcended competition.

captain Duy Gia Hoc, who was only six feet tall and half the weight of Kim Huong. His agile and quick movement was the only thing that made a berserker like Kim Huong get annoyed with him. Despite their differences in size and fighting style, their camaraderie and mutual respect made them a formidable duo on the battlefield.

It was clear that Kim Huong's and League captain Duy Gia Hoc was still forcing their way to obtain a certain amount of distance toward the lich , but he was running out of arrows to shoot; drive and passion were not only limited to the battlefield, but also extended to every aspect of their life. they were helping each other as mush as they can, the wounds they were getting were luckely not poisonous.

The number of casualties was increasing as their squad was holding on as the their fellow Ethereal warriors, hunter, tanker and healers advanced toward the area where their are injured fellow combatants , They could only move at a regular speed because of their injured teammates' weight them down inside the tankers circular formation.

and Because of the ideal balance between Kim Huong's physical prowess and Captain Duy Gia Hoc's strategic thinking, they were able to move through the turmoil with efficiency. To rescue as many lives as possible, they had to find a means to move more quickly, but they also understood that time was running out, and the heavy rain was not helping them either.

When they saw another group emerge from the battle field, they had a brief glimpse of these warriors, who were as ferocious and visible as the monsters themselves. What really got their attention, though, was the young man—possibly in his 20s—leading the charge with amazing dexterity and skill. His unparalleled fearlessness and agility motivated Kim Huong and Captain Duy Gia Hoc to exert even more effort. They teamed up with the young man and, energized by their newfound enthusiasm, created an invincible squad that would overcome all obstacles in their quest to save lives.

There were about 180 guild hunters altogether between the two that tracked and hunted lich. About forty of them were lost, and the rest of the group was injured and damaged, but they never wavered in their will. Longwei gave Ramiel a jungle bolo, which was an advanced weapon similar to a dagger. He tied a longer rope around its pommel and fastened it to his arms. Ramiel used the weapon to hack and slash his opponent; it felt like cutting tofu.

As he battled with other guild members, the sound of metal clashing and groans filled the wet damp air. Driven by their rage and hatred for the undead, they remained steadfast in the face of overwhelming odds.
