Chapter 279 - Chapter 279

As heavy rain poured down the battle ground the landscape was turned into a muddy and treacherous terrain. The once pristine fields were now transformed into a quagmire, making it difficult for them to maneuver and adding an extra layer of challenge to the already intense battle.

a young man in his twenties caught the attention of those who were still alive. His black hair was matted with sweat as he fiercely fought against a horde of undead creatures. The intensity in his blue eyes was evident as he swung his weapons with precision and skill. In his right hand, he held a jungle bolo, the curved blade glinting in the fading light.

With his left hand, he wielded a bar mace, its spiked head crushing through the decaying flesh of the undead. Despite the odds against him, the young man did not falter. His movements were fluid and calculated, a testament to his years of training and experience.

As the screams of the undead echoed around him, he continued to push forward, his determination unwavering. Sweat poured down his face, mixing with the blood of his enemies, but he did not let it deter him. With every strike, he seemed to gain more strength.

his adrenaline pumping as he fought for survival. The sight of this young man, battling against the forces of evil, was both awe-inspiring and terrifying. But to those who witnessed it, his black hair now drenched in mixture of rain and blood, his blue eyes ablaze with a fierce determination. He may have been just a young man in his twenties, but in that moment, he was a warrior.

His twisting motion catapulted his enemies like tornado, each wing of his bar mace was destructive and the stab and slash of the jungle bolo was lethal.

As he fought, his movements were fluid and precise, as if he had been trained for this very moment his entire life. Even the mud wasn't enough to stop his movements, the other three that came with him were also skilled fighters, their synchronized attacks creating a formidable force.

The enemy's numbers seemed endless, but they fought with unwavering unity, their teamwork proving to be their greatest weapon. With each strike, they pushed back the enemy forces, inching closer to their real target.

Bowen, Longwei, and Ya Zuo were doing what their young master requested them to do , they were attacking and defending at the same time, while Ramiel would grab a wounded person and just forcibly drag him or her into the mud.

The other Guild warrior, who saw the rain and mud as a hindrance, was amazed to see him use his surroundings as much as possible, utilizing the environment to his advantage. Ramiel's resourcefulness and adaptability made him a formidable opponent.

as he seamlessly integrated his surroundings into his fighting style. The enemy, initially underestimating the power of the rain and mud, soon realized that they were facing not just skilled warriors but also a tactician who could turn any disadvantage into an opportunity. Ramiel would drop his tied weapon and just toss those who were injured at the back.

In a triangle formation, with Ramiel at the front and the three at his back, he would then assess the situation and devise a plan of action based on his own experience and resourcefulness. The three had witnessed Ramiel's natural ability to pick up and solve problems quickly even as a child, but now that he was a young adult and wielding a weapon on par with their master Guan Yu, they were determined to watch him develop

.

As they observed Ramiel's prowess in battle, they knew that he had the potential to become like his Hòu diē, a true warrior in his own right. With each swing of his weapon, Ramiel displayed a level of skill and precision that rivaled even their clan's revered warriors. This realization filled them with pride and excitement for what the future held for their young protégé.

Ramiel employed all of his physical attributes to his advantage. He moved light, taking advantage of the mud's slick surface. He also combined martial attacks with his jumps, something the guild warrior had never witnessed happen because they were constantly relying too heavily on their enchanted weapons. Ramiel even mixed in an elbow strike while he was still moving. All of this was calculated, and he defeated the undead on his own.

The captains of the Sao Đỏ Vietnam Guild League, Duy Gia Hoc, and Con Cháu Bà Triệu Malaysian League, Kim Huong, along with other guilds from each nation, wanted him on their side.

The martial arts we practiced combined all lessons that could be found, from Wudang Chuan to Kenjutsu, using fast, quick movements of every body part and using the action to create a chain attack with any part of the body that was free and available to use, such as the elbow, fist, foot, knee, or any other body part that could be used as a weapon.

Ramiel's distinct martial arts style enabled him to effortlessly switch between various techniques and adjust to any circumstance. Even with the rain, he was able to approach the heavy archer, Sao Đỏ Vietnam Guild League captain Duy Gia Hoc, and throw a tied jungle bolo in a circular motion, launching it with remarkable accuracy towards the undead. With its razor-sharp blade glinting in the rain-soaked air, the bolo slashed through the air. He will now run in the direction his weapon generated after hitting its final target, using his free hand to catch any arrows that fall onto the battlefield.

He managed to gather seven arrows until he reached his tied bolo, and with a whipping motion, he retracted the weapon from the dead enemy and dashed toward League captain Duy Gia Hoc, screaming as hard as he could and saying

"Đội trưởng, đây là mũi tên của anh, tôi sẽ cho anh biết vị trí chính xác của Lich."

"Captain, here is your arrow; I will get you the exact position of the lich."

"Guys, protect him; give me ten minutes."

League captain Duy Gia Hoc took something from his pocket and threw it toward Ramiel as he ran toward the small hill, to more undead that s was surrounding and hiding the lich from their line of sight. The undead were of low rank, but they were positioned in a Testudo formation. The shields were slightly raised high, but there was a very small gap in the shield formation. It was for the lich to view and watch its enemies; Ramiel will now exploit this

.

Rameil stared at Ya Zuo and told him,

"Guys, give me a path to enter.",

Ya Zuo smiled and nodded as he knew what must be done. There were so many spears on the battle ground; they all came from the undead. Ya Zuo put his twin daggers back in his holster and just grad as many spears he could get his hands on, while Bowen and Longwei cleared any enemies approaching the two.

Malaysian League captain Kim Huong saw this and saw they were planning something. He changed his direction and followed the young man running toward the hill filled with undead. Even with his huge stature, he was quick at his feet. As soon as Ramiel stopped to kill an undead, captain Kim Huong was already a few feet from him.

"Hay! Young man, let me in on the plan!"

"Just give me a path to enter; make it straight, so we can bombarded that lich with everything we have."

"Is that all? You can count on me too!"

They still needed to face a few hundred undead marching towards them in a flanking maneuver in a line infantry formation with five ranks of undead soldiers. Even though they were dead, their fighting routine was never diminished. As the undead approached in their disciplined formation, the team quickly assessed their options.

"We need to break their ranks and disrupt their formation."

Kim Huong nodded in agreement, adding,

"If we can create chaos in their lines, it will give us a chance to overpower them."

Malaysian League captain Kim Huong ran on the left side, saying,

"I carve that formation down."

. As he skillfully maneuvered through the battlefield, her eyes focused on breaking their disciplined formation and causing havoc among their ranks. With each strike, he aimed to dismantle their line infantry formation and create an opportunity.

Ya Zuo ran ahead of Ramiel while he was calculating the distance from the very moment Ya Zuo stuck the spear on the ground. Even if there was an enemy charge, Ya Zuo was confident in his ability to defend himself. He had trained extensively in hand-to-hand combat and knew how to anticipate his opponent's moves. As the enemy approached, Ya Zuo swiftly dodged their attacks and counterattacked with precision. With each strike, he aimed to weaken their forces and just kick the spears toward the hill and open a small opening or gap.

Ya Zuo was a strong kicker; the spears he kicked, multiple spears, were flying with speeds that could easily penetrate the enemy's armor. As the spears soared through the air, Ya Zuo strategically aimed for their weakest points, aiming to disable as many soldiers as possible. His kicks were so powerful that the enemy was left stunned and disoriented, and rows of undead holding their shields were skewered, left, and rolled down the hill, creating an opportunity.

Ramiel looked at League captain Duy Gia Hoc, who was about fifty meters away and was signaling to prepare, while Ramiel and Ya Zuo were fifteen meters away from the hill, and captain Kim Huong was at their backs, confronting the remaining undead line infantry.

Ramiel raised his weapon and charged the lich, running up the hill with the intention of getting close to the creature and placing the marker that Duy Gia Hoc had given him.

It was a suicidal move to climb a hill full of enemies, but the undead did not anticipate that he would be left alone. Bowen and Longwei appeared at the base of a foot of the small hill that was only twenty feet higher than the ground; the two held hands, and as soon as Ramiel stepped on one of their hands, they threw him upward with all their might, while the Malaysian Berserker Kim Huong used his imbued axe to violently chip away at the rocks.

The enemies, caught off guard by this unexpected attack, were quickly overwhelmed as Ramiel landed gracefully on top of the hill. And place the marker on the lich, and he just smiled and said

"got you!"

The League captain, Duy Gia Hoc, fired seven arrows in quick succession, all of which sailed through the air thanks to his precise aim, as Ramiel swiftly forced his way out.

The arrows were imbued with all of his remaining mana as they lashed out like ballistic missiles, descending like a rain of fire. The impact of the arrows was devastating, setting off explosions and sending shockwaves across the surrounding region. Taken by surprise, the Lich let forth a cry of anguish and rage as flames consumed its flesh.
