Chapter 14 - Chapter 13: Getting familiar with the Club.

After our meeting, we all stood up to meet with the boards since they are all part of the top level management team, I believe it would be important for them to be a part of the meeting.

On getting to the venue for the meeting, everyone was already there waiting for me, and so we were able to start the meeting immediately.

"My name is Mr. Isaac Al Meena, I am the new owner of this club and the main person who decides how this club will go with the help of like minded people. My being here is not to make my power known by sacking the lot of you, while the news I got about you under the old management was not good, the benefit of doubt will remain for now while I try to see who is on the same page with me as regard to running this club, and is capable enough to do so". I begin.

"Sir please excuse me, I don't believe some people are meant to be here", a member of the board asks.

"Oh, and who are those", I ask despite fully knowing who he is talking about.

"It's the manger and his crew, this is a board meeting, and not for all". he explained.

"Well it is not a board meeting, but more of a familiarisation process and discussing the clubs way forward. Henceforth any emergency meeting we have on the clubs future as well as a general meeting every month I want to start now should always include them, Alright?" I inform them.

"End it there, even in the scenario that we don't longer want his service in the club, I want him on sittings while we tell him reasons, if he cannot improve, he agrees to go but if he believes he can do better, we give him some more Chance. I do believe that for a club to move forward, the mindset from top to bottom must be on the same wavelength especially the top management".

"Let's just talk about the most important matters today especially those we would discuss with the press later in the day.

"I don't know about you, but I believe with the manager saying he does not want Cristiano in the club and with all he did, it will be in the best interest of the club if his contract is terminated". I explain. "I am not a tyrant you can freely express yourself too if you have something to say on the matter".

Well I personally do not think his contract is to be terminated, the same board member said, I think it will be better if we talk to him (cristiano) about his future and to try to make him stay, since he brings a lot of once to the club.

Is that everyone's mindset on the matter, I ask the board.

And I was surprised to see that about 70% of the board members has the belief that we should not terminate his contract and that the gain of him staying outweighs the loss.

I ask the other group if they have anything different to say on the matter, I already noted that the group are mostly younger or as Aisha said new members of the board.

"Yes sir, we do", one of them stood up, a particularly young member after some surprise I care for their opinion.

Seems they've be been pretty ostracized here. I note

"And what is that you think we should do".

"Let's terminate his contract like you said while giving him all the compensation".

Some people shouted at that.

"Quiet please". I demand. continue.

Then we run agenda that while we are a club that cares about feelings and contribution, we place more emphasis on togetherness under the new management and so will love to wish Cristiano well in his new home.

Great we clapped and that's great and I think we would be taking that advice.

"On another topic, we plan on fulfilling the plan to renovate the stadium and the training facilities and academies".

"Let it be known that we do not plan on just renovating those facilities, we plan on getting the best for the club so I want a new estimate based on that on my table".

Oh and we do plan on building a data analysis and medical centre where all data about player including but not limited to their current psychological state, fitness and Coordination with their teammates, and who will be effective against which team (opponents). Their current training need and best nutritions too will be computed so as to create the best partner for our coach and make his job easier and efficient.

I am here to build a dynasty.

Applauses rang as I stood up.
