My intrusive thoughts of landing on a peaceful land and having to worry about nothing quickly shuddered.
My psychological abilities which I doubt I ever had, quickly stopped functioning.
Lucas seemed to be unnerved by all the commotion that had been taking place on the plane. He quietly sat in his seat sipping his tea like he didn't care about a turbulence hitting harder than reality.
I started giggling. He gave me a quick stare and turned back to reading a magazine placed on his seat.
"So Paris is in France?" I asked unbelievingly.
"Exactly how dumb are you?" he replied.
"I am really sorry. Geography had always been my arch-rival." I said.
"Right after me, correct?"
I turned my head down not giving it a reply.
"So Asahi lied-" I started.
"We are about to land soon. Get ready."
My eyes were almost in tears. Asahi really did lie to me.
We were landing now. I stared through the foggy window trying to capture an image of the unknown peaceful country. No, the mafia headquarters.
Lucas seemed quite happy on reaching Paris.
"Hey, take your luggage and let's go," he said smiling.

We left the airport and entered the real world. It was a cold winter night. For some reason, I felt really peaceful watching the city lights shine and cars moving to make a weird little pattern. My mind drifted along with the cold breeze and despite the cold, I felt alive. I was understanding nature and quickly fell into Lucas's arms. He caught me in time. I brought my face close to his rosy red lips.
"W-What happened?" Lucas asked confused.
"I....." I murmured.
"You what?" he asked.
I quickly gathered all the strength I had in me and blurted out, "I am hungry".

A red little taxi hauled us to the nearest restaurant which was open 24/7.
"When was the last time you ate?" Lucas asked concerned.
"Y-yesterday," I replied.
I heard Lucas order something but I had lost my senses and my head was spinning hard.
A quick plate of some delicacy was brought to my table and I quickly munched on it.
"Ah! You brat! You could have told me. I would have bought you something to eat sooner." Lucas said angrily.
"One americano too!" I screamed.
It was brought to my table within seconds.
"The americano of Japan still tastes better," I commented jokingly.
"You finish your drink, I will wait for you outside."
Saying that Lucas left the restaurant.
I crawled up to the cashier after I was done with everything.
"How much?" I asked in English.
"6 Franc." the pale-looking guy replied.
I quickly took out my wallet.
"Oh. I don't have any money with me right now." I replied.
"Mam, you have to pay."
"I will ask that guy outside for some," I said quickly.
"OK, mam. What is his name?"
"Lucius Beaufort," I said without thinking twice.
"WHAAAAT?!?" he screamed.
I suddenly realized what huge of a mistake I had done. He would definitely inform the police about Lucas. Then it suddenly hit me. I do need to get this guy in jail, so I can be free and secure! YES! That's what I should do! I quickly changed my composure.
"P-Please help me. Call the police quick! This guy over there is tormenting me!" I cried to the cashier.
The poor guy jerked back out of fear.
"Mam! Please take ANYTHING you want from here! PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!" he cried.
The cashier ran out of the restaurant without waiting another second.
Right, even the people are too scared to inform the police about Lucas.
I slowly retreated back to the car.
I opened the door and entered the back seat with Lucas.
"You ate? Are you still hungry? Do you want me to buy anything else?" Lucas asked smiling.
"How dangerous is this guy- Even people run away scared and here he is smiling at me." I thought.
A sudden phone call snapped me out of those thoughts.
"Hello, who is this?" I asked.
"Mam, we are from the forensics and we have the post-mortem report ready. The identified person is a male and a government officer. I assume it's not the person you are looking for." an old lady replied on the other side.
"Oh. Thank you for the information." I said.
"What was that?" Lucas asked me.
"The post-mortem report's not Himiko's."
"Why are you so gloomy about that?"
"THEN WHERE IS SHE ACTUALLY?!" I shouted.
"We will find her one day," Lucas replied.

The next morning, I woke up in his mansion. Yes, he owns around 27 mansions in France alone.
I was done with my breakfast and was about to walk back to my room when a sudden familiar figure flashed through my eyes.
I simply ignored the vision and moved forward.
"Hey!" someone called from behind.
I turned around to find Lucas.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I yelled.
"Damn! You did not have this energy last night," he replied.
"I was just too hungry to yell at you."
"Anyways, it's about time we start our mission!" Lucas said excitingly.
"Whatever." I replied scoffing.
"Before that, I do want to introduce you to a good friend of mine."
I heard footsteps closing in and discovered a trail of black shoes advancing toward me.
I looked up and felt very shocked at the sight of that very person.
"Nice to meet you!" Asahi said bringing out his hands from his pocket.
