Chapter 1 - First Contact

There is one rule, that very few can ever break in the world, and those that do either rise to great heights, fall flat on their faces, or start following that rule. And that rule is, there's strength in numbers, and as such people travel in groups, just like the caravan, that will spark on Atlases life.

In the thick of the woods their is a normal man, not heartless but not self sacrificing either. And on his journey to the next town over, he saw a little boy that could be no older then ten, covered in nothing but tattered rags that probably once resembled clothes, the boy also had a pair of light blue eyes that looked like they were glazed over. And like any half decent person he called out for his caravan to stop to ask the boy, "what are you doing here all alone" and "where are your parents".

The boy looked at him slightly puzzled and responded with "I don't know".

To try to learn more about the boy he asked a different question this time "where are you from" but was met with the same response in the same confused tone as before, and in a foolish attempt to get a different answer he asked "where did you come from" which just led to the boy pointing at a tree not to far from the path. And to that end he had to ask, "what do you know", this question finnaly got a different but nearly as useless of an answer being "my name is Atlas".

"Well little Atlas my name is Abraham but most people just call me Abe, say were all going to a town nearby, we can take you their if you want Atlas?" With such an offer being given to Atlas so abruptly all he could do was nod his head and mumble "yes".

After Atlas joined the caravan he started to be asked various questions until someone asked if he remembered anything. At this point Atlas realized that the state of his memory wasn't normal at all and the knowledge that their was something missing from his life terrified him.

After some more time had passed Atlas fell asleep in one of the wagons, even though the sun only just arose.
