(Artoria PoV)
I walk out of the apartment with cautious movements. There are only two directions I can go once I exit the apartment. So I pick a direction at random and walk down the long, white corridor.
Soon I reach the end and stare at elevators. I press the button to call one. After a few seconds a ding is heard and the elevator opens, revealing a cluster of people. They are all dressed in the same white clothes as me.
I step inside casually and ride the elevator to wherever it's supposed to go. After a few minutes of stopping on floors and picking up more people, the elevator reaches the end.
The wave of people exits the small space and I get swept up with it. We walk down a corridor and quickly reach a big open room, that seems to be a canteen.
I stand to the side and watch the flow of people stand in line to get their food. The air is quite casual and some people are forming groups and talking. While others are quietly waiting in line. I get a lot of gazes directed at me, expressing curiosity.
Trying not to stand out too much, I quickly go to the back of the line. Though that doesn't help much, since when you're 196 cm tall, you tend to attract attention wherever you go. Plus these clothes are quite tight on my breast, ass and thigh areas. That might draw attention as well.
While waiting in the line, I go over everything I've observed since coming here. What I understand so far is that this place is a sort of a prison. For who, for what and why? I have no clue.
So far I haven't observed anything that would tell me something conclusive, or would be useful in escaping this place.
The line soon shortens and I get my food. I head to a random empty table, sit down and start eating.
While eating, I observe the other people. Taking note of relationships, the general mood, their mannerisms and so on.
If you're in a situation where you have no information and you could potentially be in danger. Then you start collecting information as fast as possible. This is obvious.
"If only I was stronger." I clench my fist under the table and mutter, without me realizing.
After finishing my food, I observe the people who have done so as well, flow out of the canteen. They follow the same path as before, to the elevators and then up.
They get off on different floors. I get off on the one I came from. I made a point to remember it, so I don't have a problem.
I walk back to the same room and enter it. *Click*
The door locks behind me when I do. I sigh and look around the room. But there is nothing to look at. So I decide to sit down and start meditating, trying to remember things about myself.
....
3 hours later, I hear the same buzzer and the door unlocks.
Just like before, I exit the room and take the elevator down to the canteen. Then I get food and sit down to eat.
This time though, after eating, I notice the people going in a different direction. I quickly finish my food as well and follow them.
When I do, I discover them heading to a different wide space, that has a lot of recreational activities. It even has a bar.
I stand in place for a few seconds, since the shock that this place gives me is above average. It's just rows and patches of different activities. Table football, minigolf, basketball, TV's, computer games and so on. There is so many things, it's ridiculous.
For a few minutes, I don't even know what to do. What happen to the plain prison life? What is this gaming heaven?
I quickly get over my emotions and return to indifference. It's never good to let your emotions get out of control.
This time, instead of just observing, I choose to engage a few people.
"Hey you..."
I talk to a few people. Making jokes, asking about them and this place, and making a good impression. I keep the interactions brief. About 5 minutes max, since I want to engage a bunch of people.
After almost 2 hours of talking to different people, I finally go and sit down on a big couch and relax. It's draining, talking to people, when you have to pretend to be nice and interesting. All I want to do is to get out of here, not talk to some prisoners.
"Haah." I heave a sigh big enough to blow away a house.
Suddenly I feel someone big in front of me.
"You're in my seat." A deep male voice greets me.
I look up at the speaker and get a bit suprised. The man is absolutely huge! He's about 216 cm tall and buff as well. His hair is short and light brown in colour and his eyes are green. He still has the same white clothes as everyone else.
I look at him and pat the spot next to me. "I'm too lazy to move, so you can just sit here."
"I'm afraid you misunderstood. When I said that is my seat, I meant that I will sit there." He enounciates slowly and clearly.
Then he comes closer to me, invading my personal space. I stare at him with a blank expression, but inside I'm kind of confused at what he's doing.
He grabs ahold of me, in a princess carry and sets me down to the spot beside where I was sitting.
Then he sits his massive frame down on the spot I was sitting before and ignores me.
"Ahahahahaha." I finally break my blank expression and start laughing out loud. If this was a romance novel, then he would be the male lead. He just lifted me aside, to get to his seat.
He looks at me once again, when I start laughing, so I ask.
"Why did you insist on sitting there, when you could sit anywhere else?" I ask.
"When I say that is my seat, then it will be my seat. That's all there is to it." He speaks slowly and clearly, with his deep voice. He speaks like he's explaining something blatantly obvious.
"Hmm? Do you have the power to enforce that?" I stare at him with a smirk.
"Of course." He simply responds, staring at me.
What is this guy? It's like his pride and self worth are bigger than my twin mountains. He turns his head away from me and ignores me again. Leaving only one thought in my head.... This person is incredibly interesting!
"My name is Artoria Lucifer. What's yours?" I introduce myself with a grin. He turns his head again to look at me with blank expression.
"Puh." I quickly swallow the laugh that wanted to escape. He looks like an NPC that will ignore you, unless you engage it.
"Remember this well, as I will only say it once. My name is Jørgen Albion." He introduces himself. His words are soaked with arrogance, but the way he speaks is so natural. When most people would say this, it would come off as them boasting. But when he says it, it just sounds like he's stating facts.
"I suppose I could remember it. It is rather easy with my superiour intellect, after all." I grin. "I was suprised to see a man of your stature and arrogance wearing slippers though. So I guess you aren't as amazing as you think, inside that head of yours." I provoke him.
However unlike before, this time he doesn't look back at me and answer. He just continues looking at the same spot he was before, completely ignoring me.
I try to talk to him a few more times, but there is no changes. He just blatantly ignores me. Once I understand that, I just stare at him.
It's not like I have something better to do anyway, so I just stare at him, who's staring at the wall. What a way to pass the time.
Soon a buzzer is heard and he stands up. He along with all the other people again move through the corridors and go into the elevators. I follow Jorgen to the elevator and then get off on my floor, reaching my room again.
"I guess that was dinner?" I muse, as I see the lights dimming in my room.
"Oh well." I indifferently lay in bed and begin trying to remember again. After a while of doing that, I drift off to sleep.
