Writers POV
As Arazod got closer to the entrance of the library, he met with his father, Gaius and other High Mages of Jordia. His father is the Mage representative to the king for the Land of Jordia and a well-respected High Mage with an unbeatable rank in Magic.
"Greetings father, high mages" Arazod curtsied,
"I barely see you, how is your preparation for your ordination going? Gaius asked his son; he is proud of how fast his son had grown. Both physically and mentally.
"Going well father" Arazod replied. "Your son has become too busy trying to be the best of us", one of the high mages chuckled on his comment.
News circulated fast, and the high mages knew that Arazod was the best of all the students in the school. He aced his tests and no doubt that he will be ordinated as the youngest high mage in all the magical land. They also know that he had affinity to two sources of magic which was rare. But so far so good, they don't know about the birthmark on his chest. His father knows that it cannot be hidden forever. "What if something goes wrong in the ordination?" This fear lingers in the heart of Gaius.
As other students prepared for their final test which would enlist them for ordination, Arazod was busy in the library for other reasons. He was determined to find the right spell or magic potion that would allow him to communicate with the human girl. After spending the whole night at the library, He got home early hours of the next morning and headed for his father's personal library instead.

Arazod's POV
At my fathers' library, I began to search through the books on the shelf, one by one, and I found something similar to what I needed. It was an ancient book of arcana, written by one of the scholars and high mage, who was once a student taught by the Arch mage A'vous . It wrote extensively on "arcana" but there was a clause in one of the chapters I was reading, which caught my attention which says "an elf born without magic or non-Elvin creatures can connect to an existing arcana"
I read further as it illustrates how an arcana can trigger a dead or an existing arcana. And it is just as similar as bonding with your soulmate; A ritual performed years ago but was abolished for some specific reason by the elders of the four magical lands.
I quickly searched for books and ancient scrolls that had to do with bonding an arcana with a soulmate. It took me quite some time to find something relating to what I was looking for and it states that sharing an arcana with a non-Elvin creature had to be done physically. Only then will the process be truly complete.
This bothered me because she is at the other side of the boundary, but I was willing to give it a try. I read through the text of the scroll and understood what I needed to do. I looked outside the window and saw that it was almost evening. The urge to see her again grew even stronger. "This has to work" I mumbled to myself, I took my horse and went to freshen up first, then set off to the lake.

The Human Lands.
Luna knew she had made her parents worried, especially her mother. She came down to have breakfast with her family and unknown to her, her eyelids were swollen from all the tears she had cried the previous day. Even after the encounter with the Elf at the lake, her mind still wandered back to the humiliation she went through and couldn't help but cry again. She knew she needed to find a resolve within herself and be strong.
When she got home that same night, after having a warm bath and drying her hair, she overheard two maids talking about how the news had spread throughout the town and how she had been labelled a slut who had no proper home bringing and had tainted the Randles family name.
People might think of her as a slut or whatever, but she knows her feelings towards Fedrick were once true. Firstly, she had to engage in something that would take her mind off the incident. And secondly, how to be strong and bold because sooner or later, she will have to go out to town and face these people.
Everyone stared at her worriedly, but she couldn't care less. She sat and ate her breakfast quietly and everyone else did the same.
She was the first to leave the dining table, not able to stay calm while everyone stared at her, even the maids that were present. She laid on her bed and kept thinking deep, she then decided to take a nap, but someone knocked on the door,
"Can I come in?" the voice was her mothers'
"Yes" she sat up straight. "How do you feel, are you alright?"
"I am fine mother; you don't have to worry..."
"Why won't I worry, look at your eyes, no mother will feel at peace knowing fully well that her daughter is depressed …"
Maya felt pained that her own daughter is going through something like this and does not know how to make her feel any better.
"Mother, I will be fine. I want to take a nap now, okay?"
"Alright dear, rest well"
After her mother left, Luna picked up her little diary and stared at what she had written about the elf, she then remembered what he wrote out underwater. "Meet me here tomorrow"
Since she met the Elven being at evening time, she decided to rest and go to the lakeside later in the day. "If I see him again today, that means I am not hallucinating," she assured herself.
Maya and hector were so concerned about their daughter. They know her as a sweet little girl that has grown to be carefree, beautiful, loving and jovial. They are worried that the incident will greatly affect her emotionally. After a heart-to-heart talk between the two of them, they agreed that if it gets worse, she would be sent to the neighboring kingdom where hector's junior brother lives, and a change of environment would help improve her mood. They knew that they could not send her there alone and decided to talk with her brother Kaelan to see if he would be in support of it and go with her when the time came.

Arazod's POV
Evening was setting in and I was already anxious to get to the lake. I went through the scrolls I acquired from my father's library again, in order not to miss any step of the bonding process, because I have never done it before. Roloan came in during that time as well.
"Are you sure this is going to work?
"I don't know, but I will try."
"This is a stupid idea, what if it affects your arcana in the end? Your magic will be affected badly, you know right?"
"I know." I answered him. I picked up the potion that will allow me visible beyond the boundary and threw my cloak about me. "You do not have to follow me this time around. I will be back by nightfall" after this, I exited the building and rode my horse towards the lake.
When I got there, I hung my cloak and shirt and got ready to dive in. The urge to see her was more than I could comprehend, I couldn't tell why my every thought was about her, neither did I care. And it feels like I will feel much better when I see her. I took the potion and dived in and when I was deep enough, I could see the magical boundary.
The boundary itself appears like a translucent wall and no elf nor humans could pass through. Even the potion itself is not strong enough to let my elven body pass through it. My body gets trapped inside the magical boundary. It only projects an alternate self at the other side of the boundary. That is why Luna sees me like a spirit instead of my real body.
While I patiently waited for her to come, a thought crossed my mind... "what if her human body cannot withstand the power and energy of an arcana? What if she dies in the process?
