Chapter 4 - We must accept Consequences of our actions gracefully….

AMARA

The terrifying man left as quick as he fell. Amara was in shock and was on the floor trembling. She was very confused on why this man hated females all the males loved females dearly.

She sat there for awhile until her brothers did indeed find her.

" Adan " Amara called weakly Adan has always been her favorite brother so she instinctively called out for him when she was in danger. Adan rushed over when he heard her call and was thrown into a panicked Frenzy when he say her wounds and shell shocked expression.

" Beloved sister please tell me who did this to you? What happened? are you okay? " asked Adan quickly on a panicked voice.

"Brother I have failed the teachings of our tribe. A man fell with many wounds on his chest and I helped him unexpectedly he attacked me and forced me to tell him the secret of our blood " said Amara while crying heavily. Adan's face went cold for the first time in front of his sister. The royal family was taught from a young age to be wary of anyone that is not their tribe. Because of this teaching he couldn't help but he a little angry with his sisters actions but how was she supposed to know he would try to hurt her.

"Where did he go Amara what kind of beast was he speak clearly" Said Adan very sternly.

Amara who was not shocked but still disheartened by her brothers response to her said while holding her tears back " he was a eagle beast man and he flew towards the bottom of our mountain. "

Axel and Allen were not far behind Adan and heard the conversation and immediately turned back into their beast forms and flew to inform their father.

"Adan I'm sorry he was hurt I had to help him " sobbed Amara who was unable to face her favorite brothers rejection. Adan knew his sister had been coddled and was a very sweet and innocent girl. Adan thought " as a royal family member you have been given the opportunity to be educated more about the outside world than the others and should have known Better. Why did you save him?"

Adan still reached and hugged his sister. Then said

"What's done is done Amara. We can only pray to the beast god for no future troubles" sighed Adan still with an upset look on his face

"I'll take you back to mother and father they will know what to do." Said Adan while picking up his sister.

When they got to the house Amara started to tremble she was afraid she knew she had jeopardized her clan. Her brother put her down outside their front door and said

"Go in Amara you must face the consequences of your actions with grace do not shame yourself" Amara would remember his words for the rest of her life.

She opened the door to their home and saw her gorgeous mother brushing her red hair anxiously.

"Amara !" Her mother cried when seeing her appearance and wounds around her neck.

" your brothers already informed me of what happened you can talk punishment with your father let me treat your wounds. " said her mother gently. Her mother went and craved a bone knife and slightly cut her finger. Her blood shined and she quickly gave her finger to Amara. Amara drank her blood and felt better next to her, her mother had the highest healing ability in the tribe.

"Thank you mother I'm so sorry" Amara said bowing her head.

"You are a member of the royal family you should apologize to your tribe not me" huffed her mother. After she said this her father walked out from the bedroom he was a very tall man with long red hair, red eyes and permanent smile lines. Although he was king he had a very friendly personality and was always smiling so even though he was only 125 years old he had smile lines.

"Amara I'm disappointed in you" said her father with an unfamiliar scowl on his face. Her father continued speaking to Amara with a cold tone. " Do not say anything hatchling as soon as I finish grab your books and go to the bedroom do not come out till tomorrow. We were going to have your coming of age celebration but now we must use the opportunity of our tribe being together to warn them of the danger we have now" the king was taking this very seriously as he has been reminded by his father and his forefather of the dangers of outsiders. They almost eradicated the phenix clan for their blood. Amara knew this as well and obediently nodded and bowed to her father. She grabbed her stack of books and went to the bedroom. Amara looked through the books that had been passed down through the royal family but nowhere did it mention abandoned beasts. What does it mean to be an abandoned beast she thought. The eagle couldn't be a threat to her whole tribe if he was alone right? Amara was trying to think of the positives but couldn't control the tears she started crying heavily and eventually passed out due to exhaustion.
