Finally, Dad said, 'this journey is over'. We came down and when I say we I mean I, my brother and my parents. I breathed in the air and I'm already loving the place. Dad called me and distracted me from my thoughts, he came to me and said 'lets go in my dear'. I nodded and we went in, I marvelled at the sight of the interior of the house. I was very happy that we moved to a beautiful place, I looked around for my brother Simon....
OMG😳, how rude of me I didn't introduce myself. Pardon my manners, my name is Candy Rodriguez, I and my family just moved into a new neighbourhood cause of my dad's work and my studies. I was transferred from my former school to Brighton Highschool, I was not happy at first cause I'll be leaving my bestie Jenny behind but along the way I had to accept it and the changes that comes it cause there is a saying 'Change is constant'. My parents are the most caring and loving couple I know. I wish to have a home like theirs one day when I get married to my prince charming lol😁.
Back to the story, I'm looking for my brother Simon because I know he is unhappy that we relocated. I decided to settle down first before I looked for him. I asked Mum which room was mine and she took me upstairs and showed me a very big room and said it was mine. Wow! I was super excited and I thanked Mum, she gave me a warm smile and left. My room is pink in color and so cute. I got down to work and in a few minutes I have arranged my stuff and the room felt like home. I took out my phone and called Jenny, she was happy to hear my voice and we chatted for a few minutes before we ended the call.
I decided to take a shower and go downstairs to help. I did so quickly and rushed downstairs, helped Mum and decided to look for my brother. I found him in his room looking sad and playing his guitar. I sat with him and we talked for a few minutes. I convinced him on the fact that life here would be very interesting and fun. He finally smiled and told me that he can feel the vibes of the place already. I laughed and we continued talking. After a while we heard Mum calling us for Supper. I rushed out and he followed suit happily.
Mum and Dad were happy to see us doing okay in our new home. At the table, Dad asked Simon how he was coping, he replied that he is cool with the place. Dad faced me and asked 'Baby girl, Hope you're ready for School tomorrow?' I replied with a grin 'Daddy I was born ready '. He smiled and we continued eating.
After dessert, I helped Mum do the dishes and went to bed. I needed to Sleep early in order to wake up on time for school. I slept off wondering how my first day will go❤️...
