Chapter 35 - And War Was Him

The Voyager, carrying a sword in his right hand, called Antrax to a duel to the death. The Voyager elaborated that if he wins, Antrax would have to leave the Material Substrate for good, as his inconsiderate inter-universal slaughter has reached levels that could not be ignored anymore.

How daring of a lifeform to proclaim war against war itself. Antrax was surprised. He gladly accepted the condition. There was no way he would lose. It was impossible to beat him in a sword fight.

The only way to perform such a feat would be if your name was Venus Hekatonreis.

And then, their swords met. The impact of their clashes atomized billions of galaxies and pushed away countless universes out of their orbit.

Their contest of prowess went beyond abnormal. Both of them would look at each other and immediately predict their next 10^10 moves via sheer mastery of the sword and martial arts. They would counter with counters that countered counters, which was then countered with yet another counter, and so on infinitely.

This conflict lasted three months nonstop until Antrax noticed something. He was starting to feel heavier. Not because he was tired. Something else was affecting him.

Then, he realized that with each clash he performed against the Voyager, the gravity around him became stronger. Specifically, it was an increase of ^1.5, over every clash. Even Antrax would feel the difference after so many spares with the white-cloaked being.

So he cut his own gravity away. In consequence, he tore away the gravity of the universe they were in into nonexistence as well. The Voyager was surprised.

"Spare me of your tricks, traveler, and prove your worth."

The warm-up was over. From here on, it would be the real deal.
