Chapter 28 - God of War

This is a warning for anyone who might be hearing this.

My name is Edmond Ritch. And we, the litchians, have been usurped of our moons.

Within our planet, Litch, we recently discovered an anomaly on one of our moons, Sakar.

We warned some of us who inhabited the moon to investigate, but what they found cost their lives.

Countless foreign creatures, called ethernals, popped out of nowhere and started massacring all the litchians that there resided.

We launched several probes with some of our elite members inside, and when they reached Sakar, war ensured. But somehow, when the war started, the ethernals became stronger, and faster. They tore our members as if it was butter and our armor as if it was paper.

And worse, they did not seem to die. We could burn them to a crisp, impale, blow them up, or even outright disintegrate them into quarks. They would recoalesce within seconds.

One day we tried nuclear carpet bombing. Each bomb also released a wave that forced them to undergo erasure. Didn't work.

We were forced to use our best weapons. The jormungands. Extremely advanced military armor with the purpose of killing, destroying, containing, and banishing.

We pushed them back, not by killing, but by forcefully teleporting them to other universes. We were thus winning...until he appeared.

He was massive. At least five meters tall. Bulky and muscular, carrying a sword just as massive in his right hand. His very presence induced a gravity strong enough to crush stars.

He was Antrax, which was soon known as the God of War, and with his sword, he exterminated all of those who were then in Sakar.

Our teleportation weapons did not work on him. Literally, nothing worked. Everything was either nullified or straight-up overpowered. Even when we managed to make him fall into portals and close them, no matter how far he was sent, he would tear space apart and appear right behind our noses.

His strength defied strength, and his mastery over weapons went beyond the concept of mastery itself.

Each swing of his sword destroyed the body, soul, mind, and idea of an individual. Our people would immediately forget who was there killed at their side by his blade, and they could do nothing but cry in fear.

While he killed us, he kept shouting "For the glory of our Queen!"

Who was this queen he spoke of? His master? His creator? We did not know, and there was no benefit in knowing.

Our troops were decimated, and we, within Litch, decided to abandon any operations of rescue within Sakar, for there was no one left to rescue, and to fight him directly was suicide.

When Antrax was done with one moon, he jumped into the other one. And there he killed all litchians left if any.

He would soon come to our planet. And he did.

We prepared ourselves with the best of our tech.

We fought Antrax and his horde of ethernals with everything we had, but it proved futile.

And as if Antrax himself wasn't already an issue, his mere steps caused earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, and eruptions all across the planet.

One day, he sliced away 1/3 of our planet, killing half of our population instantly.

We lost the war. It was impossible to begin with, for he was war, and war was him.

Now, we had fled into the underground, in hopes of survival. It has been 30 days since we were then down here. He has not found us yet. Quite the opposite, I think he has jumped into another star system.

This is my message for whoever is hearing this across the cosmos. Antrax is out there, and one day he might find you. Spread the word.
