A figure could be seen walking along the castles floors. Using the glass elevator she made her way down to the last floor, gracefully proceeding to the exit. As she walked by all the guards she passed bowed, shivering as they succumbed to her powerful aura.
'Damn, she's so cold.' A guard literally thought, his teeths clattering a bit as tiny bits of frost could be seen on his armour.
'How can such a beautiful thing be so ruthless.' Another thought, carefully admiring her body.
'Huh.. this is new.' The figure could clearly see the lustful eyes of the male guards, staring at her with envy. Like a predator staring down it's prey.
'Time to remind these insects of their place.' She frowned tightening her hand. The next moment three ice spikes formed, shooting at three random male guards. They were fast not giving them a chance to react, as it pierced their skulls protruding out the back.
"Ugh..."
There were mixed reactions of fear, anger, hate on the remaining guards faces, staring at this cold blooded silhouette.
"Don't think I can't see your perverted eyes lusting after my bodies. Those three were just an example of what happens, when you look death in the eyes. Know your places as mere disposable insects, and you may just live long enough to keep your dicks." Elsa calmly said with disgust. None of the guards dared speak a word, keeping their heads bowed as Elsa spoke.
She had just murdered three guards in cold blood, and it was fucking broad daylight! But alas, they couldn't do shit as per the rule troy decrea. And her aura alone spoke volumes.
Turning round, Elsa left the castle standing at it's entrance. She could see a figure she knew well standing in front, staring ahead the purple dome.
'What's she doing here? Isn't she meant to be guarding troy?' Elsa wondered, a bit surprised seeing ona standing outside the castle.
"Ona!" Elsa called out, steadily making her way towards ona. The latter turning had a pale face recognizing the voice, as she could see Elsa making her way towards her.
'Shit! what the hell does she wants?' Ona cursed her luck. It wasn't that she was scared of Elsa, well maybe a little bit. I mean who in their right senses wouldn't? Even king troy was always cautious around her, only speaking general stuff. But she just didn't expect to see her, at this moment.
"What are you doing standing here, I thought you're meant to be guarding troy?" Elsa asked staring at ona.
"Well you see.. the king asked me to handle other affairs but I refused. But knowing how stubborn he is, how could I say no to the king's wishes?" Ona made sure to keep a straight face when talking to Elsa, as she knew this woman was smart.
"Really.. And which other affairs is more important than the king's safety?" Elsa asked, her eyes piercing a hole through ona's soul. The latter's heart was pounding hard against her chest, immediately Elsa asked that question.
'Shit, I knew she would ask. Why does she have to always be a spoiler. now I have to come up with a good lie or am iced.' Deliberating on what to say, beads of sweat gently strolled down ona's forehead even though the atmosphere was chilly. Her mind racing top speed, like an F1 driver on a suitable lie.
'This is unlike ona. I can tell she's hiding something, but why?' Elsa knew ona was hiding something from her, judging by the way her eyes were twitching a bit.
"It's- it's the peasant, yes!" Ona blurted out the first thing that came to mind. Staring at her awkwardly, Elsa was confused what ona was blabbing about.
"Peasant, what about him?"
"Well you see.. the king asked me to check up on the prisoners, his accomplices in the town and see if I can get anything out from them." Ona hastingly spoke, with a hint of fear in her tone.
Staring at ona, Elsa had a frown on her face awkwardly looking at the commander of the space guards. She could see beads of sweat streaming down ona's face, glancing down her hands were shaking a bit.
'She's a bad lier.' Elsa inwardly chuckled. She knew king troy wouldn't task ona with such nonsense task, at this critical time. He could easily send a space guard to interrogate them, which made her wonder why ona was lying to her.
'And why didn't she put them in the dungeon where they belong, with the rest of the filthy peasants?' Elsa wondered, as all the prisoners and peasants were held up in the castle dungeon. Even if a pandemic occured, the guards were tasked with the responsibility of retaining order in the castle, no matter what.
'She hasn't done this before, so why does she care about the peasant?' Elsa thought, confused at ona's sudden change of character.
'Shit. I-i knew she wouldn't buy it. I mean, check up on the prisoners at this time?' Ona gulped knowing the jig was up.
"Very well then. Since it's orders from the king, it's none of my concerns anyways." Elsa calmly said, making ona heave a sigh of relief.
"You may carry on." She casually waved her hand. Bowing a bit ona turned round walking away, wiping some sweat off of her forehead.
"Phew~ that was close." she sighed hastinging her footsteps as fast and calmly as she could, so as to not arouse Elsa's suspicions more.
"Wait." Just when she thought she was free, Elsa's voice called out to her from behind.
"Yes, miss Elsa?"
"Where are you going?" Elsa asked, seeing ona walking away from her.
"Sighs* You're going to the town right?"
"Y-yess."
"Then you need my help silly girl. T-that's why you were waiting out here right?" Confused, ona was thinking about what miss Elsa meant. Her eyes widened a bit, realizing what the former meant.
"Ha-ha! you're absolutely right miss Elsa. I got so carried away with all that's been happening lately, it skipped my mind." Calmly walking towards her, Elsa placed her hand to ona shoulder.
"It's alright, we can all be forgetful sometimes." Elsa said with a light smile, but ona couldn't help but shudder a bit. The next moment, ice spread from Elsa's hand to ona's shoulder enveloping her body fast.
"M-mis Elsa-" she barely uttered, as her body was completely frozen like an ice sculpture.
.....
In the desert, a figure blazed across the treacherous hot sand chucking up a trail of dust behind. The object looked like a blur speeding faster than a rocket, blasting it's way across the barren dead fields in seconds.
"C-can't give up n-ow." Kyle muttered, hope in his eyes as he continued running. It had been an hour, since his death fight with the advanced desert worm. He was currently on his way to the cave, just a 100 meters from the location as he'd tried pushing forward, but his body couldn't handle it which led to him taking a break.
"Water~ n-need water." Kyle was thirsty, and his body demanded water. It had been approximately 3 hours he last had water, and a decent meal. He could go some days without food as a demon, but surprisingly water didn't have the same effect.
Gazing at the map, he could see he was really close to the cave as the green dot which is him, was just some meters behind. Placing the map back to his pockets he pushed forward, exerting the remaining stamina and strength he had left.
'There it is.' His eyes glistened with excitement and anticipation, seeing the cave in front. Without thinking twice he took a big leap, landing at the entrance of the cave.
Hastingly entering the cave, Kyle didn't bother checking for any boobytraps or unexpected surprises. Making his way with the guidance of the map, it wasn't long as he reached a small wooden bridge in bad condition.
Crossing it, he didn't need the map's clarification as he could clearly hear the sound of it.
"W-water." Kyle shrieked like a starved puppy, finally stumbling on a bag of bones. Crouching down, he greedily dipped his head into the small pond of blue crystal water, greedily gulping it down. If anyone were to see Kyle now, they'd think he was a caveman or a savage animal.
'Belch!! That was satisfying.' Kyle thought, gently tapping his tummy after having his fill. Looking round, he could now finally see the cave. It was the same like the one he and Vladimir were in, rough, pointy spikes hanging upwards, creepy. except this one had a more hotter air, even though the water was cool.
"Weird.. it's like it's two separate environment." Shaking his head Kyle got up. He could see something was amiss about the pond of crystal clear water, but since the system didn't alarm him of any danger he didn't bother. But what caught his curiosity though was something else.
"T-this place, it's filled with great amounts of demon energy." Kyle muttered, staring at the sudden system notification in his view.
[Alert! Host has entered an abundance area of demon energy.]
