Once Xuanyuan scanned his surroundings, he began walking forward without trying to ascertain which direction was more safer with less monsters.
He'd barely walked for a minute when about a hundred of level 100 Humanoid Tigers surrounded him.
HP: 170000
HP: 200000...
The Humanoid Tigers were Tier 2 Demon masters wielding different weapons. The melee unit wielded Swords and Shields, the ranged wielded bows, the Magical unit equipped staffs while the Assassins wielded short daggers. Xuanyuan deduced at first glance that these monsters were sentient due to how they arranged themselves in a proper formation once the surrounded him.
Once they surrounded him, the 10 ranged Tigers shot 3 arrows each at him leaving him with 30 arrows to deal with. Meanwhile the melee units dashed at him ready to strike Xuanyuan once he dodged. The Magical class began chanting their spells while Assassins lurked around waiting for the perfect opportunity to deal a fatal blow. This arrangement was so perfect and dangerous that Xuanyuan felt that if it was any other player(s) in his place, they'd be unable to withstand such attacks from a group of level 100 Tigers as a level 60 player.
But their opponent this time was Xuanyuan. Such attacks are far from enough to kill him. Just as the arrows streaked towards him like lightning bolts. He unsheathed the Lightning sabre and the Runic sword. This time also, he was prepared to fight ordinarily not using his ridiculous powers.
When the arrows were just inches away from him, he began a sword dance as he manipulated the arrow in such away that they didn't hit him but they didn't fall to the ground either. Such a performance required high reaction speed as there were 30 arrows in question and even with his fast reaction speed, he could only manipulate half of the arrows while the rest fell harmlessly to the ground.
By the time he was done, the arrows shot back at the melee unit who were currently less than 10 metres away from him. But as if they knew what was coming, the melee Tigers casually swung their Swords and raised their Shields blocking the arrows effortlessly. But that brief moment was all Xuanyuan needed.
He suddenly dashed forward and swung his swords at the Sword wielding Tigers closest to him. But instead of getting repelled die to level suppression they were instead forced several steps back with their arms vibrating from the collision and -5000HP floating above their head. This was their turn to be surprised.
'Just who was supposed to be sent flying away?' They wondered.
Xuanyuan didn't pause and used the opportunity to attack the repelled Tiger who had yet to recover the repulsion. The Tiger only managed to raise the sword to defend itself and got even repelled further with another 10% of his HP gone.
Just when Xuanyuan was going to deal a fatal blow to the Humanoid Tiger, the Magicians who'd just completed their incantations directed numerous Fireballs, icicles, rooting curses etc at him. This forced him to give up the attack and dodge instead deflecting some fireballs and icicles to damage the Tigers instead.
The Tigers were getting furious as the battle dragged on. They were level 100 monsters and even if they are at the same tier as Xuanyuan their attributes should be vastly superior to his. But apart from possessing frightening strength, his speed was so fast that they found it difficult to land an attack while he was continuously damaging them, even using their allies attacks against them. Even though it appeared as if Xuanyuan was also struggling to defeat them, they knew this was all because he wasn't using any skills or techniques just casually swinging his weapons. If he used his skills, they'd be bunch of EXPs already.
After battling the Tigers for about ten minutes, the last Humanoid Tiger wailed in agony before bursting into Gold coins, Magic crystals and a bunch of level 100 items most of which were Common and Bronzes rank. But he still looted them all the same. After all, Jade spear Holy city was going to war soon. It was better to gather as much as he can to gear the City's army with.
After looting the items, he continued walking deeper into the Twilight valley and within minutes he encountered another group of Humanoid Tigers who were of the same level as the previous Tigers...

Seven days later
Deep within the Twilight valley, Xuanyuan was battling with another group of Tigers but the difference this time is that the Tigers were led by multiple Tier 3 Tiger Kings. But Xuanyuan was unfazed and continued slaughtering the Tigers as usual only using his skills when absolutely necessary.
During this seven days, he'd slaughtered thousands of Level 100 Tigers and his level had increased to level 85. This was due to to level suppression as he was fighting monsters who were tens of levels above him. Now he only needed to gain 15 levels and he'd be at level 100. At that time, he could challenge his Tier 3 promotion quest...
As usual, Xuanyuan finished slaughtering the Tigers alone with their Tiger Kings gaining a frightening amount of EXP that directly propelled him to level 86. If players were to learn of such a ridiculous leveling speed they'd be dumbfounded because at this stage of the game, leveling was terribly difficult and gaining just a level took up to three days for experts. As foror ordinarily players, they only level up once every five days...
