Many players has thought of grinding in a high level region but they had to discard such an idea because monsters in the Realm of spirituality were getting stronger and killing a monster five levels above you is now a challenge. Meanwhile acquiring better equipments is even more difficult as the drop rate of even Iron rank equipment became terribly low. Coupled with competition from the NPCs, developing became a big task and the only way players could barely survive was by developing their individual combat standards. Thankfully, dying in game didn't pose any threat to their bodies in the Real world so they could fight and train as they wish. Fighting under life threatening conditions without having to worry about death boosted the combat standards of the players and that's why the Realm of spirituality became so popular eventually becoming a second life for people.
Apart from gaining levels, Xuanyuan could feel that his combat standards have improved drastically. Previously, he'd been stuck at the Void realm because he didn't have much experience with the Flowing water realm. Much of his movements are still imperfect and imprecise but after battling with the intelligent Humanoid Tigers while being numerically disadvantaged, he was able to control his minute movements to the extreme applying the appropriate movements when necessary without making unnecessary movements. Now he could feel that he's only an inch away from the legendary Domain realm...
Once Xuanyuan looted the drops from the group of Tigers, he continued deeper into the valley until he arrived in front of a large cave carved atop a tall mountain which spanned the area of two stadiums combined . This cave was the only place he hadn't explored throughout the Twilight valley and he could sense a mighty aura being radiated from inside the cave. He suspected that residing in this cave was a Tier 4 Demon Emperor!
He tightened his grip on the sword and entered the cave with his five senses enhanced to the limit. After all, this was the first time he was going to confront a true Tier 4 existence in the Realm of spirituality.
In the cave he encountered a few Tier 3 Kings which he easily took care of. He also encountered numerous traps and Magic barriers but to a Array Master like him, they were not a hindrance at all.
He kept moving forward inside the cave until he arrived in front of a large hall where a lone Humanoid Tiger sat quietly as if waiting for someone. Once Xuanyuan got close, he took a deep breath as a terrifying suppression bore against him. This was not a supression diẹ to a Mana domain, it was a pure suppression due to difference in Life rating. After Xuanyuan's bloodline evolved to that of a True Human, his life rating had increased drastically that he now rivals ordinary Tier 3 Kings in that regard. But in front of a Tier 4 Emperor whose life rating was several folds greater than that of Tier 3 existences, he could feel the suppression even from afar.
HP: ???? "You're quite gutsy, human" The Tier 4 Tiger Emperor also called Twilight Emperor chuckled lightly. Xuanyuan wasn't too much surprised. As the Tiers of Monsters increases, their intelligence also increases and at some point they are even able to speak like human beings. In addition to increased intelligence, they also experience improved combat standards rivaling Flowing water and Void realm experts. Some powerful Demon Saints possesses combat standards of a Domain realm expert. This makes monsters in the Realm of spirituality even more difficult to deal with. "I have to say, you're quite exceptional to have reached this place" The Twilight Emperor said. "You slaughtered my men and now you're even here before me" The Tiger Emperor said. "You could have fled and I'd have been unable to find you, why risk your life to come here?" He asked. "But now your rampage ends here" The Twilight Emperor said and waved his hand. An enormous ball of fire that was about the size of a two storey building manifested immediately and flew towards Xuanyuan burning everything in its path. "You need to get serious" Xuanyuan sneered. "This is far from enough to kill me" He said as he lightly touched the massive fireball just when he was about to be consumed by it. The fireball suddenly reversed directions and flew towards the Emperor who waved his hands and destroyed the fireball. Fireball was merely a Tier 0 beginner spell. But when casted by a Tier 4 Emperor, the power it exerted was comparable to that of Ordinary Tier 3 spells. This was the power of Tier 4 Mana quality and also the reason why Emperors were so terrifying that they could destroy an army of Tier 3 Kings all by themselves. But against Xuanyuan whose Mana quality was already at Tier 5, the fireball couldn't even be considered a tickle to him. "Now I understand why my men weren't a match for you" The Twilight Emperor said solemnly. "But you're seriously mistaken if you think that's enough to kill me!" The Emperor muttered coldly Instantly, hundreds of meteors gathered around the Emperor, each meteor carrying power at Tier 3 peak standard. One of them might not be threatening but hundreds of them is enough to vaporize a battlefield. Xuanyuan didn't idle around either, he raised both of his arms and magical symbols manifested in the sky combining to form magical arrays. The hundreds of meteors suddenly moved at a breakneck speed covering dozens of yards in an instant but they were all stopped by a gigantic shield casted by Xuanyuan. By the time the last meteor bombarded the shield, the shield which was already riddled with cracks broke apart but it still managed to defend the Tier 4 spell completely.
