Currently, the Sword Guardian stood firmly like an Emperor as crimson Flames burned on his body and his sword turned into a Magic sword!
That was exactly the same thing Xuan Yuan used the previous minute,
He suddenly had a flash of realization. The Guardian was a carbon copy of himself even down to weapons and equipments and abilities. It was not strange to see him use those two double layered buffs. But the timing was rather treacherous.
Right now, although he could still use his Flames, he couldn't use his Berserk skill, and the Magic sword skill is on Cooldown, so things were looking rather bleak for him and there's a big chance that he'd fail the quest.
The Guardian raised his sword and executed a skill sending a Fiery Sword light flying at him.
'Bastard! he actually chose to execute a Tier 1 skill now, striking an iron while it's hot' Xuan Yuan cursed.
He had no time to think as the blade of light flew towards him rapidly. He placed his sword in front of him and executed
Xuan Yuan gazed at the Guardian in horror. One strike was all it took to force him to use two defensive skills to block.

The Guardian raised the Sword again for the third time at Xuan Yuan who watched in despair as a blade of light flew towards him again. Now, all his lifesaving skills have been used and on Cooldown. If he chose to wait for
Xuan Yuan watched as the blade of light approached him with despair coloring his face.
'NO! I can't die like this!' He cried as he closed his eyes and raised his sword for a final struggle.
As the sword skill was just 3 metres away from him, he swung the sword in his grasp and sent a sword light to confront the opposing sword skill.
BOOM!!
Xuan Yuan slowly opened his eyes after a few seconds with surprise on his face as he looked at the Guardian being forced three steps back.
But he was not surprised in seeing the Guardian being repelled, instead he lowered his eyes to look at his hands gripping a Silver sword burning with Fiery Crimson Flames. He was not looking at the Flames but rather what was burning within it!
MANA!!
'I... controlled Mana!' He shouted. 'I just used Mana!!'
A few seconds before he'd closed his eyes as despair flooded his mind and a Sword light flew towards him and had raised his sword to launch a sword strike.
During that brief moment between raising his sword and striking, he felt his consciousness blaze with power as energy manifested around the sword and formed a sword light which was launched.
The despair he was feeling during that moment had stimulated his will and allowed his consciousness to break through the barrier blocking it which allowed him to control Mana!
Currently with his eyes closed, his will spread to his surroundings as he felt unprecedented clarity on things around him. When he had fought Red Lava Snake before he had used his extraordinary senses to locate the snake. In reality, he was really blind and couldn't see anything.
But now even with his eyes closed, he could still see everything around him and even the shocked face of the Guardian who recovered himself about 10 metres away from him. His will integrated with mana which opened his mind to see the world not with his eyes but with his mind!!
The Guardian on the other hand was flustered. 'Just who was supposed to be repelled!'
He raised his sword once more and launched another Tier 1 strike at Xuan Yuan once again.
With a thought, Xuan Yuan controlled his consciousness and the surrounding mana surged towards him as if they had found their home. In an instant a storm brewed around him as Mana was being gathered. He raised his sword and condensed every mana he could control around the sword and manifested a gigantic sword light around it.
"Hah!" He shouted as he swung the sword sending the gigantic sword light flying at his opponent's Sword strike.
The Gigantic blade pierced the Guardian's skill and continued flying towards him. The Guardian was astonished and hurriedly casted the Tier 1 defensive skill.
The gigantic blade shattered the sword wall directly and hit the Guardian and sent him flying uncontrollably towards the wall behind him leaving a deep gash on the wall.
Xuan Yuan was astonished seeing the destruction he managed to cause by executing a strike with Mana!
