The vase shattered on the floor, the shard and the black sand shattered all over the place, and the aloe vera plant resting on the black floor.
Gia stopped and dropped the vase immediately she saw Clement running towards Prince and Julius taking a view at the scene without a clue what to do. Prince was saved that night by his guard. If not for him, he would have been in the hospital and even admitted for days till he fully recovered.
Present day ( Monday morning)
"That's all till this morning," Prince said staring at his pet's heavenly face. He smiled and looked ahead shortly
"Wow! You must be living a very tough life with your mum?" Sophia said sympathizing with him, her cute balls steaming and ready to pour.
He turned to her and said to her face, his face flushed and voice tight "Tough is an understatement for what she has done to me"
"Woo…!!!" she answered quietly. She relaxed her back as she thought about the story again, she cleaned the bead tears underneath her eyeballs ready to drop on her face.
"no wonder you're mean to everyone," she said staring at his side view.
He turned to her and said with a honeyed voice "except you my pet"
"pet…" she asked her face frowned and furrowed
"yes you're my pet…" his voice sounds throaty as he smiled at her again.
"Okay…" she paused before continuing "does that mean we are friends now," she asked quietly.
"if that's a yes it's on a condition," he said looking head.
"what's the condition," she asked with courage wanting to know what his condition is, without thinking twice about how dangerous he was.
"Promise me you won't fall in love with me"
"fall in love with you…" she smiled and finally let the chuckle out freely which annoys him. Isn't she supposed to be warm, why was she so happy about what he said after all she had heard a bit about how dangerous hes from the younger students and other classmates? She continued after a while of laughing
"I don't even like you not even love you. All I want is your friendship, will I get that if I don't fall in love with you" she asked staring at his face.
"Okay… theres a rule you must remember,
the very day you confess your feelings to me, our friendship is over"
"Okay-y also the very day you confess your feelings I'll call you a name"
"What na…"
"sh-h" she cut in placing her index finger on his cute pink lips "I won't tell you now on that very day you will know"
"Don't say I didn't warn you later" he smiled at her
"is that a threat?" she asked casually staring at him. He felt like he was losing his respect, she has the grit to talk back at him so rudely.
"It's not a threat but a deep warning," he said with annoyance into her face. His face frowned and voice tight. She got panic-struck, she cleared her throat and turned to the road with less car moving. They muted without any sound coming from them. The only sound was the honk of cars and car engines moving on the road and pedestrians walking steps.
"It's your turn," he said after a long silence "so… start" he reminded her. He checked the time, it was 6:45. He got anxious and troubled about why the bus wasn't around by that time.
"yes it's my turn…!" she said quietly and turned to take a glance at his cute face she missed seeing for some minutes. She noticed he looked worried "why the long face. What's wrong…!" she asked turning to him.
"The bus should be here by 6:30 and it's 6:45 now," he said looking at the road.
"Oh…!" she paused a little. Their eyes met, and her heartbeats changed ,moving a little faster than earlier. "May…be…" she managed to say as they stared at each other. Her jaw dropped as he took his gaze away taking a look at the bus coming.
"They are here," he said staring at her cat eyeballs. She shook her head slightly waking herself from her dreams of imagination and looking behind her to confirm." Yeah they're here" she said after spotting a white coaster bus stopping. Prince stood and moved towards it. He looked behind, Sophia was still on her seat.
" hey! C'mon, let's go"
" I'm behind you…" he waited for her as she hurried to him. They entered the bus.
Prince walked to the back seat where he and his only friend do seat before he became friend with her. He was always the first to get on the bus. He stopped and frowned a bit, he was surprised to see a girl seating beside him. He was wowed because he was already talking to her. Sophia was following him closely behind
"Hey! good morning boy," he said after he sustained the shock. He stared at her as he greeted him.
"Hey man…!" David stood and hugged him. He sat immediately after hugging him.
"How are you?" Prince asked checking him out.
" I'm good, what about you?" he asked
"Same here…" he paused a little and stared at Sophia.
"Oh…! Sorry for being rude, Sophia meet my best friend David, David meet Sophia my…" he didn't know what to compliment her with. He was at a loss for words. He couldn't let the word out.
"Your girlfriend," David said loudly, Sophia looked petrified.
"Yeah! my girlfriend," he answered nodding, she gasped. He whispered into her ear softly " I said, girlfriend and not girl lover"
"Oh…!" She said softly losing her countenance and smiled at him.
"Hi, I'm David like he just said" he introduced himself slowly. He bites his lips and pouts sexily at Sophia
" I'm Sophia, nice meeting… you" they exchanged pleasantries. Staring at his cute hot young face, David was staring at her romantically. She questioned herself why were no handsome guys in her former school
"same here, and I'm," David replied but he couldn't complete his statement, as Prince cut in.
" And who is she?" he asked glaring at her. He was worried because David falls in love easily and always get heartbroken. David has gotten into four relationships from the previous term.
" Oh…! Prince meet Annabella, Annabella meet Prince and Sophia too" he introduced them, winking at Sophia as he mentioned her name. She shrieked at him.
"Nice meeting you," They said together, prince smiled while Sophia laughed softly.
"Bella for short or a nickname" she added smiling at Prince.
"Ok"
"I'm Sophia"
" I'm Prince"
" Sophia and Prince nice meeting you" she was only staring at Prince without taking her eyes away.
" so Sophia, let's do some quick intro, I'm a nice, good-looking, and loving boy" David said romantically simultaneously gesticulating to grab her attention. Sophia gave him a shocking reply.
"Who told you this lie," David thought about what she was talking about. He couldn't but ask her what she meant by that.
"what lies?" he asked frowning a bit.
"the lie that you're good looking"
"what…"
" you aren't good-looking," she said childishly before sitting down.
