Chapter. 13
Even in the worst nightmare Felix would not be able to hurt the girl who was dying in his lap. He shook his head with his fists clenched so that his fingernails dug into his flesh.
"Felix, please, let me be a part of you and get out from here." Beth's pleading eyes were the last sight imprinted in Felix's mind as he slowly lowered his head to Beth's neck.
With a broken heart, Felix hugged Beth's body which was getting colder. He howled in rage, splitting the night with pain and anger. Felix swore, from then on he would make humans only as slaves and cattle for him. The only human he loved, had been forcibly taken from him.
Than, the screeching of bells, the screeching of brakes, and the deafening crash, when a car hit Felix hard, bringing Felix back from his past memories. Luckily, at that time the fog really had made the road in front of Stanley College completely dark.
Felix immediately stood up from where he fell. He glanced at the driver of the green Subaru. The driver looks confused standing at the side of his vehicle. The car appeared to have suffered damage to the bumper without knowing what had been the victim of the crash.
Without waiting any longer, Felix turned towards the parking lot which is located next to the campus. His black Range Rover parked on the nearest side of the exit was the only vehicle left in the parking area.
At full speed, Felix sped toward the White Cloud mountain pass. Foggy weather is not an obstacle for him. He can get to the house even with his eyes closed. But, right now he really wanted to get to his house quickly.
The image of Bilbina's face haunts his mind. Under the foot of the hill that leads to the land where he lives, Felix suddenly stops the car. Now he remembered, the look in Bilbina's eyes when she first met, her eyes was exactly the same as Beth's last look when she gave her last blood for Felix.
With trembling hands Felix gripped the steering wheel until it crumbled under his hands like dust. Somehow, Felix believes Bilbina is his Beth. Beth who is looking for his whereabouts.

Axell sat motionless on one of the sofas. His eyes were glued to the other side of the window. The thick fog outside didn't prevent him from seeing the silhouette of the White Cloud mountain range. The white rock looks like a giant, crooked molar that shut Stanley out from the outside world.
While he seemed to be sitting quietly, actually Axell's mind was filled with the noise of thousands of thoughts that were raging within him. He was still not sure what to do with Bilbina. Axell doesn't fully understand why that girl can open Axell's memories so easily?
In just one word, Bilbina had freed all of Axell's pent up memories. Whereas before, for nearly one hundred and fifty years, Axell lived in darkness with no memory of his past or who he was.
During that time, Axell had tried hard to restore his memory. However, every time he hears or encounters the word vampire, he feels an unspeakable torment of pain that he forgets what he is really looking for. This far, Axell's assistants, including Hogan, who have been keeping all of Axell's needed. They also maintain and manage all the assets that Axell has.
After Axell's memory returned, for safety's sake, he felt that it was better for Bilbina to know the truth. Before leaving to pick up Bilbina earlier, Axell and Hogan had agreed to tell Bilbina about Axell's true identity.
Then, they agreed to tell Bilbina to stay away from Axell's life. However, his encounter with Felix and the fact that the Irish vampire was so close to Bilbina without harming her made Axell reconsider.
As far as Axell knows, Felix can't be close to humans without reason. The vampire impressions humans as only one part of the food chain. Axell felt that Felix had other intentions towards Bilbina and it was impossible for him to turn a blind eye to this.
Axell had witnessed Felix's cruelty first hand. If only towards his own people he could be so ruthless, especially towards humans whom he looks down on.
Axell's mind darkens when he remembers Jack and Gloria's deaths. The image of his parents' death flashed vividly. The pain he felt was still the same as when it happened.
The screams of pain that echoed from the bottom of Axell's heart barely stopped haunting him. Felix managed to control it to kill Jack and Gloria with his own two hands.
Axell held back the pain that felt like squeezing his hardened heart. He remembered how Jack and Gloria had tried to endure the pain for him. Axell's face scrunched up as if he couldn't hold back the sadness that gripped his soul. With all his might, he tried to suppress his desire to come to Felix right then and there.
Thinking about Felix made Axell turn his eyes towards Hogan. The man who had spent his entire life accompanying him. Without a doubt, Hogan lives under the same roof as Axell. Even though he knew exactly what the risks of living with an amnesian vampire were.
Instead of staying away from Axell, Hogan came right away the first second he heard the news that Mr. David, Axell's assistant who cared for them both had died. He decided to replace Mr. David's duties.
From then on, Hogan took over Mr. David's duties, taking care of all of Axell's property and needs. Hogan is willing to leave his family for Axell. He also ensures that blood supplies are always available in the shape of packaged drinks.
Axell tries to hold back his anger for Hogan, the only family he has. He doesn't want to lose anymore. Yet, now there is Bilbina. Bilbina is his. For a moment Axell felt surprised by his own thoughts. How could he think that girl was his?
Axell glanced at Hogan with an increasingly guilty look. What will Hogan do if he finds out that Axell has claimed Bilbina as his own? He saw Hogan pacing nervously.
Ever since Axell told him about his meeting with Felix, Hogan seemed to have lost his mind. Especially when Hogan found out, Felix had interacted with Bilbina. What if that man knew all the effects Bilbina had on Axell?
