The two of them droved to the old woman's house. As they got there, they saw an old vintage bicycle, leaning against the old woman's mailbox.
"Well that looks suspicious", Iory spoke while looking at the bicycle.
"Mowwwww..", Paste greeted them while sitting on top of the mailbox. "Hey Paste", Mellow walked towards it and scratched its head. The cat purred happily and headbutted Mellow's hand.
"Woah, it's Paste!", Iory walked up beside Mellow. He reached out his right hand and stroked Paste. "Aww you're so cute, you've gotten chubbier since the last time I saw you!", he said. All of sudden, Paste flinched and hissed at him. Iory pulled his hand back in a reflex as Paste jumped down and ran off.
"You offended it", Mellow said while giving Iory a smug. Iory pouted, "I mean, you can't deny that its chubby", he said as the two of them went around the house.
As the old woman's garden came to view, Mellow called out for her, "Granny!". He looked around the garden and saw no signs of the old woman. "Maybe she's inside the house?", he muttered to himself.
"Wow..", Iory exclaimed. "Her garden never fails to amaze me, it's like some tropical paradise!", he said excitedly. He walked towards a tomato plant and plucked a tomato, a big one that is. His eyes were glistering. "This tomato is bigger than my hands!", he said with pure joy towards Mellow.
"If you want to eat it, you better wash it first", said a voice out of nowhere. The two young men looked behind them and saw the old woman. "Granny!", they both ran towards her. "Hello dearies, when did the two of you arrived?", she asked while stroking Mellow's and Iory's head. "Just now, we just got back from Rem's school", Mellow answered.
"I see..well since the two of you are here, why don't you join for lunch", she asked. Mellow and Iory nodded and followed the old woman to her house.
"By the way granny, is my grandpa here?", Iory asked. The old woman replied, "yes, Tory was here. He wanted to visit my husband's grave"
Mellow glanced towards the forest. It's been awhile since he saw Iory's grandfather. His grandfather was a close friend of the old woman and her late husband.
"Let's wait for him inside", said the old woman as they entered her house. About half an hour later, an old man came to the house.
"Hello!", he greeted Mellow and the two others. "Hey gramps!", Iory waved at him. "Eh? Ior! What are you doing here?", asked Iory's grandfather as he joined the three of them at the dining table.
"Nothing, just wanted to stop by and say hello", Iory replied. The old woman turned to Iory and asked, "oh yeah, you wanted some tomatoes, right? Want to go and pick now?", she asked. Iory She looked at Mellow afterwards and said, "you can pick some for you and Rem too if you like"
The two young men nodded and followed the old woman outside. Iory's grandfather followed suit. The old woman gave two pair of gloves and two baskets to Mellow and Iory. The two of them put their gloves on and went to the garden.
