Lexa was grumbling in her room. Actually it's not really a workspace either. It was a pantry or small kitchen that secretaries used to take a break from their work. There is one table and four chairs that can be used to sit. There was a telephone at the end of the room in case they needed her help. When leaving the pantry, Lexa could see the bathroom in the corner of the building. The bathroom for the CEO and the bathroom for the female and male employees in the other corner. There were a total of three bathrooms on that floor alone and that meant every time the CEO wanted to pee, he would pass through this place.
Lexa's duties include everything on the 13th floor. She will start the morning by cleaning the entire room, especially the CEO's room and the secretary's desk. Prepared drinks for the five people who were there. Help them whatever they are instructed. Prepared lunch for the five people. Again helping everything until the CEO got home from work. Mr. Berto said the CEO and his secretaries would eat anything as long as it was meat. Chicken, beef, pork, lamb, and whatever comes from animal. Mr. Berto even gave her a list of which restaurants they used to order and the details of the order she even had it on hand. The venerable Mr. CEO had a very clear desire on what he wanted to eat.
Lexa was in her room staring at the list of foods. Surprisingly, whatever the meat and how to cook it, the CEO always wanted it half cooked. Really Lexa is a little confused here. He knows a lot of rich people who really like undercooked beef, but chicken? Wouldn't chicken meat be harmful to health if it wasn't cooked properly? Today she did not prepare food for the CEO because everything was prepared when she was still in training beforehand. Suddenly someone came into the room, it was Javier.
"Gosh, Mr, you surprised me," Lexa stroked her chest because she wasn't used to this.
"Hahaha. Your surprised face is ridiculous," Javier said suddenly sitting on one of the chairs.
"Is there anything you need, Sir?" Lexa asked politely.
"Don't call me Sir. I'm not Vano. Just call me Javier or Jav," he said firmly.
"Jav.... Ok then," Lexa smiled sweetly.
"Could you help me make milk coffee? My cup is empty on the table," he said in a sweet voice that contrasted with his fierce appearance.
"Of course," I said quickly to my feet.
While I was still busy making coffee, another crashing sound was heard and of course I immediately turned around, it was Javier's twin brother.
"What are you doing here? Doesn't Vano want you to come out and watch..." Jasper seemed to notice that Lexa was still staring at the two of them.
"What did you see? You were supposed to make that drink right? You forgot what Berto said? I'm sure he also told you not to interfere too much with whatever happens on the 13th floor," he said firmly making Lexa shudder a little.
"Sorry, I was just a reflex when I saw you breaking the door," Lexa admitted guilt, but it wasn't anything wrong and Jasper turned his head back to his twin brother.
"I'll be leaving after I drink my milk coffee. There's no need to overdo it! Valdo alone won't be as fussy as you!" Javier got annoyed too.
"You always take everything lightly! You are never serious about the tasks you are given!" Jasper was still firm.
"I don't want you to scold me in front of a girl who even just started working here today! I don't care about your views because you can see for yourself Vano always entrusts me with field work like this instead of you.That alone shows that I'm at least much better off to you in this job. Just go back to your thick paperwork!" Javier made a warning and Jasper left with another bang on the door.
Lexa could hear the man sigh heavily. "You'll have to get used to Jasper after this. He can be a little bad at it. We're twins, but we obviously have different skills at work. I really appreciate that, but Jasper seems to want to get it all."
Lexa moved with a cup of hot milk coffee in her hand which she slowly placed on the table.
"I don't know a lot of twins like you guys, but they usually get along well with each other," Lexa said carefully sitting across from the tattooed man.
"Not at all, Lexa. Jasper was born about four minutes after me. When we were little, our parents were more focused on me because I had a congenital heart disease at the time. As we got older, he became a little jealous and started wanting to show himself by studying hard. and became a child who excelled in school. I finally recovered after years of treatment and several surgeries. I then did a lot of physical exercise because I didn't want to get sick anymore. On the other hand, he kept wanting to prove himself much better to me until now , the man said.
"I'm grateful you're okay now," Lexa said sincerely.
"So far that's my story and that's your only response?" Javier asked with his handsome smile.
"Hehehe. Then what should I say?" asked Lexa again.
"I thought you were going to comment on my and Jasper's relationship," he said as usual.
"Yes, I don't have a brother, but you two have each other. I think, no matter how bad the fight between the two of you is, it won't change the fact that you are brothers, right? You will definitely make up one day," Lexa said sincerely.
"You think so?" Javier asked and Lexa nodded quickly.
Javier suddenly took a quick sip of his milk coffee and left for his errands after thanking her. Lexa couldn't help but smile at the distant back. Jasper and Javier are indeed twins, but in terms of appearance alone they are very different. Javier, the person she had just spoken to, had a much fiercer appearance. He seems to like to dress all in black and his tattoos cover his entire left and right arm. Lexa could see it because the man had folded his sleeves up to his elbows. While Jasper looks like another handsome nerd. His clothes are very neat with glasses adorning his face.
