I follow Eva's movements around the room tiredly with my eyes.
It's been around four days now since they corrected the surgery and all I can taste and see is exhaustion.
My mind is a buzz of nothingness and the rest of my body is numb with pain or the effort to try and control the little pain that I can.
"Papaya?" Eva asks and I glare at her. If I take one more fruit from that basket of hers I'm going to puke my guts all over her.
"Water." I groan.
Today is starting to look a lot like yesterday. The morning was filled with tiredness and dizziness and the whole of the afternoon was an alternation of sweat filled pain induced tremors and it doesn't seem like a one day thing judging from the pain shooting down my lower back.
"Should I call the nurse?" Her voice is filled with a panicked urgency that I try to ignore.
