The lich sat down at the table which the leaders of the United Central Tribes where discussing at before being wormed by Ithelisemou, around the table now, instead of leaders whose name were unknown, sat the seven cardinal sins, a necromancer garbed in pure metal, a long haired man with ragged clothes and of course, the lich herself.
Each of them looked just as they usually did, Lust, Wrath, Greed and Ithelisemou had been working toward their expansion while the others had been doing whatever, it didn't matter much because they already had power over two whole kingdoms, a kingdom that was ruined after a war and another one that was stitched together like an artifical chimera but two countries nonetheless.
Mawlique had been swiftly taken over in its totality by Lust, at this point in time, just about everyone within the country had been put under her influence even if the signs didn't appear yet, Theli had taken care of the bureaucratic stuff for now and made sure to do something so that it would be taken care of in the future, no one should be able to notice what had happened to Mawlique for a long while.
For UCT, things weren't done so cleanly, Wrath's butchering of thousands was deemed to have gathered the attention of others and such news would surely travel far, so people might be suspicious but unlikely to suspect that entire country was taken over.
The lich now had much greater ground to start gathering her undead forces, she may have lost her original troops but were the living were there always was the dead, necromancy would help fill her ranks with loyal undeads, it didn't matter how long it took for she was undying and had the support of the sins, they were meant to stay as they were for all of eternity as long as they weren't killed.
The only thing that slightly worried her was the one that had helped in both of the conquests, she couldn't figure him out at all and he had shown to have some unusual capabilities, usually, one would have a single specialty and using worms to take over people, teleporting and hiding masterfully in someone's shadows were quite far apart.
He appeared as a wild card to her but as long as he was willing to help her, she would be able to ignore his strange nature.
Indeed, he wasn't only strange with his wide array of abilities but also in his behavior, he simply seemed fearless and strangely passionate about everything, absolutely everything, there was always a keen glint in his eyes that spoke for itself that he was either observing something with deep interest or thinking about something with great effort.
Such a thing could perhaps be said for many scholars of all kinds but none showed their enthusiasm for everything.
Also, the interest he was showing at the moment didn't seem very scholarly at all, he seemed very interested in the sins and the lich, not because they were just unusual and bizarre, he seemed very interested about their bodies.
He was pretty sly about it but his intentions weren't meant to be hidden and the fact that he silmutaneously showed interest in other things helped make it seem has just general interest.
The lich was severely uncomfortable but being an undead it wasn't apparent at all.
Wrath had already dealt with it when she was with both him and Greed, her face was planted on the table, unwilling to say anything about it.
Greed and Lust were conspiring with him, he had made buddy buddy with both of them and they seemed to share a lot on common, Greed and Lust could already be difficult to deal with but now there was a third one and they had even started to work as a group.
Envy was split between two things, on one hand, she was receiving the same treatment as everyone else on the other hand, she wished she could also be part of the trio, she wanted to have a friend too.
Sloth was asleep at the moment but was focusing on eating the moss blanked that was growing on her.
Gluttony was as unresponsive as ever.
Pride took the attention given to her has obvious since she was the best after all.
Meanwhile Narik was just sitting there, having no idea what to do or say, he wished he could leave but standing up first would bring attention to him and seeing how Theli was right now, he didn't want to get his attention.
He just sunk into his seat, doing his best to vanish.
The lich decided to interrupt it all by gently slamming her larger hand on the table, the table still cracked under the blow though.
Ignoring the inadapted piece of furniture, she proclamed a few words to disperse everyone.
"From now on, we will be taking things slowly, I will be gathering forces and all of you can do what you want as per usual, if I need your assistance I'll contact you" she said before leaving the room.
Narik used the attention given to the lich to slip away alongside her, Ithelisemou had already disappeared from his spot when nobody was paying attention to him, leaving only the seven cardinal sins.
"What are you guys going to be doing?" asked Greed.
"I have a business plan ready myself" she then said, awaiting everyone's answers.
"I'll be visiting the depth to meet someone" answered Wrath as she lifted her head from the table, blood and pus seeping from the nasty wound in her left eye.
Not elaborating any further, she stood up and left.
"I need to get things that I am deserving of" simply spoke Envy with a displeased look on her face, true to her name as always.
"I don't have anything to do" uttered Sloth in a low tone as she continued eating the moss.
"The same thing as always really, I just need to find one that fits for what I want, it's just so much more difficult than it was before" responded Lust as she leaned back in her chair.
"Eat" Gluttony said that she wanted to eat.
Everybody turned to Pride, seeing her preparing to speak by breathing in in an exaggerated manner.
"As the one who will soon become the sole and rightful god of this world, I must make sure that my subjects aren't total wimps, so, I will obviously be visiting those greatest people, heroes and whatnot, also, I need to find a way to make divine servants like some of those fake gods angels" she exclaimed as she flexed her unseen muscles due to her wearing a very large robe.
The light that surrounded her head and that could be seen peeking through from her hands due to her wearing some sort of bandages as gloves shined brightly as she made her statement.
Nobody was very impressed by her declarations anymore.
After that, no one had anything left to say, not like someone could find something to say after Pride's display of superiority, after the room was left empty, suddenly removing his invisibility, Theli appeared.
He wouldn't have missed a chance to see sins interacting with each other in their natural element, he had been especially obvious about his interest to see their reactions but clearly, they weren't easily flustered at all, Wrath had been the only one tired with it and she was unflinched by anything else.
Still, it was to check their reactions but being so overly promiscuous had left him craving a bit.
'With some luck Malina will not be busy with anything' he thought as he vanished for real this time.
