The last group that the leaders had sent before being interrupted was already close to annihilation, the last survivor was starting to think that the previous groups had done absoutely nothing to wear down that woman.
The plan was supposed to tire her out and then kill her but it seemed like that was all fluke.
The last soldier grasped his broken spear, it had been sliced like warm butter, leaving only an inefective stump instead of a dangerous spear point, knowing that he wouldn't actually be doing anything with that stick, he tried to distract her by speaking and take off running if he saw the slightest of opening.
He tried to think of something to say and only one thing came to mind.
"Lustful devil! How dare you enter our minds rather than come fighting?!" he said, in the stories his mother used to read him when he was little, speech always came in handy when the hero couldn't defeat their opponent and it generally revolved around insulting the ways of the villain for some reason.
Wrath stopped for a moment and raised her one eyebrow with a questionning gaze, Greed did the same but with no eyebrows at all.
"That is oddly specific, where do you get that from?" she asked, curious about whatever this guy seemed to be talking about.
"D-don't act like a fool! It's clear that it was you that orchestrated this mind attack! Leaving obscene drawings of you everywhere!" he added, his voice cracking at the start.
Wrath squinted her eye, processing the information and making a mental note to have a little discussion with Lust later.
Despite his speech attempts actually preventing him from being slashed to bits immediately, it was clear that she wasn't leaving any opening for him to even slightly move away.
Wrath did a light slash at the air in between them and his head came rolling down, cleanly sliced.
"Greed, I thought Lust was in Mawlique, could it be her?" she asked Greed, Wrath didn't have a clear grasp of what Lust or any of the other sins could do, the place in Mawlique where she should be, the royal residence, was quite far away from here even if the two countries were not so far from one another and she doubted Lust could move at such high speeds, she was just a human before being a sin.
Greed just shrugged her shoulders.
Even if someone was up to tarnishing her person, Wrath went back to her usual spot and waited for more future cadavers to show up.

The man stood in the entrance to the room all of the leaders had gathered in, he took a few looks at it, the carpenters had done a good job, the frame work seemed solid, it was very basic and conveyed nothing to be able to distinguish this room from any other, it didn't have the allure of a place where people of importance would gather and yet.
They were all here, the leaders of each of the tribes that made up the United Central Tribes, a nation in name only as it was nothing more than a bunch of small sized countries that banded together to appear strong on the exterior, they had no central power to speak of and were lacking in several departments to make this chimeric country work despite its flaws.
It's only saving grace was that the surrounding countries were either not war able or were to fearful of the enormous country that it was, afraid to see high numbers of soldiers show up were they to try anything.
The leaders seemed doubtful of the story he was feeding them, of course they would be, everything pointed at it being false, he hadn't even tried to make it appear as the truth.
"Do not be afraid, n'ayez crainte, I am only here to make sure that the fire is well fed, which is why nobody will be leaving from now on" he explained, making the horned man scoff as he stood up and walked up to the intruder.
"And how are you going to do that? You are frail, manaless and alone! You think you can threaten me?!" he yelled at his face, pulling his fist back and unleashing it at a terrific speed, in the eyes of the other leaders anyways.
His fist struck against an extremely hard surface and started bleeding as he got cut upon hitting against it, raising his head to look on the right of the man, an enormous figure wearing a potato bag in its head had appeared and blocked his attack with its palm.
The figure clenched its fist, shattering the bones and squishing the horned man's flesh, firmly grasping him, the bag headed figure swung its arm holding his hand, swinging his body around as if it was nothing, smashing his bodies against the ground a little bit after the horned man stopped making any pained sound, his arm came off, his mangled corpse was thrown through the room, crashing against the walls and sliding off, leaving a nasty trail of blood and crushed organs in its path.
The hulking figure threw the piece that had remained in its hand and turned to the man it had protected.
"BH-O, there was no need to step in" he told the massive man, in response, the bag wearing man only looked away while putting his hand on his nape, as if he was a child caught misbehaving.
"The two of you can go outside and take care of the few soldiers stationed around, make sure to learn from it" he said as a second figure appeared from behind him, making a head movement to the first one as they both left the room, closing the door behind them, leaving the shocked leaders alone with the intruder and the mashed corpse of the horned man.
The man cleared his throat gathering everyone's attention as he started walking around the room with his hands behind his back.
"It is regretable that one of you had to die but it shouldn't be a problem, I'll just have to do a short trip to his territory later, as I said, I wish to feed the fire, it must sound like nonsense to you people, I know, rest assured however, ne vous inquiétez pas, you will all take part in one of my experiments, making you, you and even you, my colleagues, isn't that fantastic?" he said, ignoring the ones that were desperatly trying to open the door to escape to no avail.
"Now" the tone of his voice was suddenly much more serious, making the ones trying to leave intinctively turn around to look at him.
"I have only tested them on a few species of goblins and Maxime Commune Homo Sapiens, I know, the name is long but I just want it to be clear and precise, not that you understand what it means anyways, have you people even ever seen the system use this language?" he asked, no one answered as they too busy staring at the small worms that were crawling on him, emerging from beneath his clothes.
"That's what I thought, I would recommend not being awake for what comes next, I haven't been able to make them enter the brain without causing pain, not them at least but they are simply the most reliable! I hope you'll overlook the little, uncomfortable feeling it causes, my dear colleagues" he added afterwards, the worms crawled around the floor and walls and even the ceiling, covering the whole room with their bodies that were no bigger than a fingernail.
He watched as the leaders were hopelessly drowned in an endless amount of worms, they weren't endless at all but to them, it might as well have been.
After a little bit, he called them back to him, they disappeared beneath his clothes, the leaders were left intact, there was no life in their eyes at all but they were perfectly alive, snapping his fingers, the leaders all rose up and started acting as if nothing was wrong, completely disregarding the man and the corpse that was still on the floor, going back to discussing.
They soon reached the conclusion that they needed to hit the slaughterer with all of their weight, they all went back to their territory to prepare for the fight.
