Chereads / I Hate You, Mr. Regan / Chapter 3 - Break

Chapter 3 - Break

"Come home with me!"

Aletha narrowed her eyes and looked at Regan probingly.

"Did I hear wrong?" She thought.

"Don't think too much, I don't have much time," Regan reminded her haughtily.

"I have to meet Dion this afternoon, so Mr. Regan better go home alone. I can take a taxi."

"I just wanted to make sure you didn't break your promise."

Annoyance appeared on Aletha's face.

"Okay!"

What else could she do but surrender to a cruel person like Regan.

At the main door, Adele and Sandra stared in shock to see their cruel Boss walking side by side with Aletha. Even though they look like enemies, the two of them can't fight the assumption that they are like the perfect couple.

"Mr Regan." Said Sandra and Adele half bowed as Regan passed her.

Even so Regan ignored them both and continued walking towards his car. A black Rolls Royce was waiting for him.

Sandra and Adele, who were used to the boss's attitude, chose to ignore it and turn to Aletha.

"Tha, what happened?"

Before Aletha had time to answer Adele's question, Regan who was sitting in the back seat opened the window slightly and glared at Aletha.

"I'll be waiting for you at home tomorrow morning." Aletha said nervously while waving her hand at her two friends.

Then she ran to Regan's car and slipped into it.

"Aletha went home with Mr. Regan." Sandra said weakly.

"Oh my God, please save Aletha." Adele prayed earnestly.

"Do we need to call Dion?"

Adele nodded seriously and told Sandra to contact Dion quickly.

"How's San?"

"Dion is not active."

"Oh my God, what should we do?"

sandra shrugged her shoulders, at that time the taxi they ordered had arrived. Adele immediately pulled Sandra to get into a taxi immediately.

"Sir, please hurry! Follow the black Rolls Royce ahead. My friend is in danger sir, please!"

"What's the fee?"

"Double." Adele replied without thinking.

"Ready ma'am."

The taxi drove above average overtook Regan's car.

"That black car isn't it?"

"Yes, follow it sir, don't let it escape!"

"Ready."

While in Regan's car, the atmosphere was very quiet. Although sitting in one chair, Aletha and Regan did not talk to each other and chose to be busy with their own thoughts.

At that moment Aletha's cell phone rang, a call from Dion.

Aletha glanced at Regan before she took Dion's call carefully.

"Tha, sorry, the cellphone died and I charged it, I also just finished shooting the ad I told you about yesterday. Where are you now?"

"I... was on the way to Marina's cafe."

"Sorry dear, even though I promised to pick you up."

"It's okay, I'll wait for you at the cafe."

Aletha then hung up the call immediately, she couldn't stand hearing Dion's voice anymore, her heart was very sad.

Aletha kept her phone and she wiped her tears with the back of her hand. Regan glanced at her and then he ignored it.

Arrived at Marina cafe.

Aletha immediately opened the car door and ignored Regan, but Regan went down with her instead.

"Mr. Regan, you don't have to come, do you? This is my privacy with Dion."

Regan smiled bitterly before he said threateningly, "All CCTV in this cafe is now connected to my cell phone, so don't try to lie to me and do as you promised, otherwise..."

"Mr. Regan, enough!" Aletha half snapped and she glared at Regan, she who was initially afraid to face Regan now turned into a vengeance because she had lost her temper.

"I know what I have to do." She continued.

Regan smirked sarcastically looking at the slender back of Aletha's body which was gradually leaving his sight.

While Grayson, Regan's assistant who was standing beside him, showed a complicated expression, half surprised to see Aletha who dared to yell at Regan. He became worried about Aletha, afraid that after this Regan would not accept and be cruel to the beautiful girl.

"San, isn't that your boyfriend? Why don't you just ask him what really happened between Aletha and Mr. Regan?"

Sandra shyly replied, "We're still approaching."

"Whatever it is, can't he help us?"

Sandra nodded and replied, "I'll text him."

"Miss, where do you get off?"

"Wait until my friend is out sir. We have a lot of money, so take it easy." Adele replied annoyed.

The taxi driver nodded and was relieved.

At Marina's cafe, Aletha sat with mixed feelings. While waiting for Dion to come, she took a sip of the coffee she ordered with teary eyes.

She didn't think the relationship she had maintained for five years had to end sadly. Aletha suddenly hates her parents as well as Regan.

"Tha!" a familiar, charismatic baritone voice reached her ears.

Who else if not Dion.

"Have you been waiting long?" He asked.

She shook her head, trying to hold back her tears. seeing the girl in front of him not talking as much as usual, Dion narrowed his eyes and looked at Aletha suspiciously.

"Why honey? You look different today."

"I..." Aletha's tears flowed slowly.

Dion hastily reached out his hand to wipe Aletha's tears.

"Tell me, what makes you sad like this?"

Aletha's voice was choked, she just looked at Dion with a smile, even though her tears were flowing harder.

At such a time, Aletha's cell phone rang a special tone, a message from Regan.

[Don't waste time!]

Aletha sighed heavily and put her phone back.

"Dear!"

Dion again reprimanded her while wanting to wipe Aletha's tears, but she refused.

"I want us to break up."

Dion was stunned for a moment before he asked in surprise, "What happened to you actually?"

Aletha shook her head quickly and again said firmly, "I just want us to break up and don't bother me anymore!"

"But why? We're even planning our engagement in the near future."

"I'm going to marry Mr. Regan."

Dion tried to suppress his anger.

"Daddy asked me to marry and I think Mr. Regan is better than you, you never dare to talk seriously to my parents." Aletha tried to argue, but her heart was so broken right now.

"So it's true that you have a special relationship with your boss?"

"That's right, so forget about me!"
