After that she returned her laptop neatly to her desk before she opened the bedroom door.
"Aletha, are you okay?"
Regan's voice was heard from behind the door and it made Aletha mix annoyed, angry, and nervous at the same time. Her foot tripped over the leg of the table because she was in too much of a hurry.
"You're causing me pain." She scolded Regan as she opened the door, wincing in pain.
"What happened to you?"
Regan, as usual, always exaggerated when she saw Aletha in the slightest pain.
"No, my leg hurts. It's your fault."
Regan frowned, not understanding, but his gaze immediately shifted to Aletha's toe, which was slightly bleeding, and that made his panic.
"Oh my god, your feet are bleeding. Why are you so careless?" he grumbled.
He bent his body to check Aletha's feet, but Aletha refused. Regan was furious and he stood up again and carried Aletha back to bed.
"Put me down!"
