Feng Yongrui plopped on the ground and breathed heavily for some time, still reeling over his entire experience. When he finally calmed down, Feng Yongrui hastily cleaned himself with a spell and laid down on the bed.
Today had been exhausting!
Feng Yongrui thought about everything he had gone through had sighed. Why were things getting so complicated?
First of all, based on the System's information, there was no one named "He Yi" in Xu Chao's mansion. In regards to this, Feng Yongrui didn't know if he was supposed to be in shock or in disbelief.
If He Yi really didn't exist in the original timeline, then something must've gone wrong here... But Feng Yongrui suspected that the System's information was the one that was wrong. After all, the System wasn't exactly trustworthy.
Feng Yongrui also thought about He Yi and Lilith's relationship. Apparently He Yi was working for Lilith, the Head of the Vampire Clan. When Feng Yongrui thought about it, he began to be rather scared.
The Vampire Clan was able to send out a spy and plant him near Xu Chao's side for quite some time... wasn't this terrifying?
Feng Yongrui didn't know how long He Yi had been staying in this mansion, but if He Yi had been staying here for years... Just how scary was Lilith?
As his thoughts wandered around, Feng Yongrui thought about himself. He Yi was a spy, but wasn't he a spy as well?
He had a sudden thought -- what if everyone in Xu Chao's mansion was secretly a spy? What if some servants worked for this guy, other servants worked for another guy...
...And Big Brother! What if Big Brother was actually someone's spy as well?
Feng Yongrui couldn't stop the uneasiness that welled up inside his heart.
He tossed and turned in bed, feeling like he had forgotten something. Suddenly, Feng Yongrui sat up.
That's right! Didn't Lilith mention something about hurting the 3rd prince and 5th princess??
Feng Yongrui shifted through his memories... Lilith had said something about the Flame Stone...
"That's right," Feng Yongrui whispered. "Lilith said that tomorrow the 3rd prince and 5th princess will fight. She wants to injure both of them using the Flame Stone, so that she can frame the Shadow Demons..."
"What should I do?" Feng Yongrui muttered.
Instinctively, he thought of his Boss. Wasn't his Boss awesome, strong, and capable? He should be able to come up with a plan, right?
Feng Yongrui did not bother thinking too much. He dragged his tired body out of bed and took out a piece of paper. He began to hastily write down the things he had witnessed and discovered today.
However, Feng Yongrui did not mention anything about Stan or Feng Yongrui's promise to help Stan. He did this because of two reasons. First, it wasn't very important. Second, Feng Yongrui didn't want to lose face and seem like an incompetent person in the Boss' eyes.
As he wrote the letter, Feng Yongrui tried his best to write in his usual flamboyant style, but he found that it was getting harder and harder to do so. After all, this wasn't a daily report -- this was a sudden report about the things he had discovered.
When Feng Yongrui finished writing, he looked at his work and sighed. This... wasn't exactly the same style that he usually used... But oh well. Desperate times called for desperate measures.
Feng Yongrui folded the paper into two and sent it to CHEN1213, praying earnestly in his heart that the Boss would still be awake at this hour and read the letter he wrote.
After he sent the letter, Feng Yongrui felt exhausted. Because he had been running around all night, his limbs felt weak and his vision was rather blurry. Feng Yongrui could only hope that tomorrow he would wake up early and go to work as usual.
Otherwise, he would be too suspicious, right?
Feng Yongrui flopped unto his bed. Once his head hit the pillow, he entered dreamland almost immediately.

Meanwhile, in the heart of the Phantom Realm, a young man wearing black robes sat on his bed, sipping a glass of wine as he looked at the documents in his hands. By his side, Xiao Niao was suppressing a yawn that threatened to appear.
The man pinched the space between his eyebrows and drew a long, deep sigh.
"Are all of these people incompetent, hm?" the man spoke. Because he hadn't been speaking for a long time, his voice was rather hoarse and sounded like the sound of cat's claws scratching a wooden surface.
Xiao Niao involuntarily frowned. Didn't his Master drink a sip of wine? Why was his Master's voice hoarse like this? What if his Master was sick??
Feeling anxious, Xiao Niao looked pleadingly at his Master and spoke.
"Master, please take a rest already... Working late into the night will strain your body..."
The Master glanced at Xiao Niao from the corner of his eye.
"If you're tired, you can go and rest first," the Master said casually.
Xiao Niao almost burst into tears. His Master was so considerate of him! How touching...
"Master..." Xiao Niao was about to speak again when a buzzing sound was heard. The air near the Master wavered a few times before a vortex appeared, a paper falling into the Master's hands.
When Xiao Niao saw the familiar paper, he knew that this was sent by the Creative Writer. But... today wasn't the last day of the week, right?
The Master received the papers and cocked his eyebrow.
"Oh? I told him to find out Xu Chao's schedule, as well as his likes and dislikes... Did he get the information already? He's unexpectedly quick," the Master said, smiling. "One week hasn't even passed yet..."
Xiao Niao looked at the paper hatefully as his Master unfolded the paper and read its contents. In his heart, Xiao Niao couldn't help complaining. This Creative Writer was too much! Why did he have to send a letter when his Master was obviously tired??
Of course, Xiao Niao completely forgot that the Creative Writer had no way of knowing whether the Master was tired or not.
The man was originally sitting on the bed rather leisurely, however, when he read the contents of the letter, his face grew serious and and he sat upright.
Sensing his Master's movements, Xiao Niao looked at his Master and frowned. Why was his Master's face getting darker and darker?
"Master..." Xiao Niao said timidly.
The Master finished reading the letter and threw the letter unto the bed angrily. He turned to look at Xiao Niao and spoke coldly.
"Didn't you say Lilith only wanted to have fun with the 3rd prince?" he asked.
Xiao Niao, sensing his Master's anger, knelt down immediately.
"Master, that is true. The Head of the Vampire Clan said that she is only going to play around."
"Then what is this, hm? She's scheming to hurt the 3rd prince and 5th princess?" the man asked, tilting his head. His dark black eyes were filled with rage.
"What kind of spies do we have, hm? How come they didn't report anything about this?" he added.
"M-master... what are you talking about?" Xiao Niao asked.
The Master narrowed his eyes as he spoke. "I thought that Lilith would only help the 3rd prince a bit then abandon him at the critical moment... Playing around like this is still fine. After all, even if the Heavenly Immortal knows, what can he do? The most he can do is reprimand his own son for conspiring with someone from the Phantom Realm..."
"But do you know what that woman is planning?" the Master hissed.
"She wants to injure the 3rd prince and 5th princess, then pin the blame on the Shadow Demons. Heh, even if the Vampire Clan and Shadow Demons Clan don't get along, she doesn't have to do something like this, right?" he growled.
Xiao Niao looked at his Master rather fearfully.
"Master... please calm down..."
Deep inside his heart, Xiao Niao was cursing at Lilith with all his heart. This time, her actions were going too far!
If Lilith was only helping the 3rd prince fight against the 5th princess, it was still fine. After all, she would be helping in the shadows only. Even if the Heavenly Immortal found out about this, he couldn't really say much.
Instead, the Heavenly Immortal would scold the 3rd prince for being stupid and conspiring with their enemies, the people from the Phantom Realm.
However, if Lilith schemed to hurt both the 3rd prince and 5th princess, then this was a defiant, active attack -- not only against the Heavenly Immortal, but also against the entire Cloud Realm!
All these years, on the surface the Cloud Realm and Phantom Realm were not fighting. However, this didn't mean they were buddies. The rivalry and hatred between the two were very strong, and the two realms were coexisting in a very fine balance.
If one side started something, no matter how small it was, this balance was bound to break.
