Yin Longshen continued, "I know you might have doubts about doing this with me. After all, I may seem like an inexperienced kid..."
"However, I have no plans on quitting halfway. Since I plan on doing it, then I will see through it until the end. I chose you because I think you're talented. You're hardworking, and we know each other."
"However, if you refuse, it's fine," Yin Longshen added. "If you work with me, naturally, there is a possibility of failure. You might end up losing money and wasting time, so I won't be upset if you choose not to help me."
"All I want you to know is this, whether you choose to join me or not, I will still start my company regardless of your choice," Yin Longshen said slowly.
"And I won't give up," he added, determined.
Zhu Yuan sucked in a deep breath then sighed.
"Lao Da, I believe you can do it," Zhu Yuan finally spoke. Yin Longshen's eyes lit up when he heard Zhu Yuan's words.
"Other people might not trust you, but who am I? I've been following you for some time now. I know you better than anyone else. If you say you can do it, then I'm sure you can," Zhu Yuan said.
Yin Longshen breathed a sigh of relief and smiled softly.
"If that's the case, then I'll tell you my plan," Yin Longshen said.
After that, the two of them began a lengthy discussion that continued nonstop. Feng Yongrui, who was sitting next to Yin Longshen, had to feed his brother a bit of food from time to time.
Otherwise, Yin Longshen was too absorbed with his discussion! While the two of them were busy talking, Feng Yongrui had heard his brother's stomach rumbling several times.
Yin Longshen hadn't eaten a bite of food ever since he arrived, and the only thing he had been doing was talk, drink, talk, listen, and talk some more. Feng Yongrui felt tired just thinking about it.
Well, maybe a good protagonist had to be like this.
Feng Yongrui did not know how much time had passed, but it was already dark when his older brother finished talking.
Feng Yongrui was physically tired even though he hadn't been doing much. He wondered if it was because he was still young... why were his eyelids getting heavy?
He must've eaten too much... Feng Yongrui slowly drifting away into dreamland.
When Yin Longshen and Zhu Yuan were finally finished talking, Yin Longshen turned his head and looked at his sleeping younger brother. A drop of drool hung at the corner of his mouth, and Yin Longshen wiped it away.
After bidding goodbye to Zhu Yuan, Yin Longshen carried his younger brother and called the chauffeur to take them back to the hotel. Once they arrived, Yin Longshen was greeted by an impatient Zhao Baozhai.
When she saw her son fast asleep, being carried by Yin Longshen, Zhao Baozhai gave a small frown.
"You're too late," she said, glancing at Yin Longshen with disapproval.
"I know, I'm sorry," Yin Longshen gave her an apologetic glance and subconsciously hugged his younger brother tighter.
"Aunt, I'll bring him to our room," Yin Longshen said.
Zhao Baozhai expressed her approval, and Yin Longshen bid her goodnight. When Yin Longshen was gone, Zhao Baozhai looked up and sighed.
The next morning, Feng Yongrui woke up and found himself on a fluffy bed. Was he back at the hotel?
Feng Yongrui sat up and saw his older brother sleeping by his side.
"Host, you are really weak," the System muttered inside Feng Yongrui's head.
Feng Yongrui ignored the System and yawned. Although yesterday he didn't listen to Yin Longshen's conversation 100%, he knew more or less that Yin Longshen was already starting his company.
Thankfully, everything was going on track, just like in the original timeline. Yin Longshen's blackening value was currently 22%. He needed Yin Longshen's blackening value to reach 60%...
After the meeting with Zhu Yuan, Yin Longshen and Feng Yongrui spent the rest of their holiday having lots of fun. On the third week in Country B, they moved to another hotel, this time located near the mountains.
Since the hotel was close to the mountain, it was rather cold in the hotel, and Feng Yongrui had to wrap himself in several jackets to warm himself. The hotel had several available tours, and the two boys had nothing else to do, so they joined any of the tours that were available.
Yin Longshen and Feng Yongrui explored a nearby cave during one of the tours, and visited a museum during another one. The two of them also visited a historic site called Fratres.
Fratres was a naturally shaped rock that looked like two brothers who were fighting together, back to back. Legend has it that this rock used to be two demigods named Ve and Vili.
The two of them were brothers, but they had opposite natures that clashed with one another. Ve was the demigod of light, while Vili was the demigod of darkness.
It was common knowledge that light was the opposite of dark. Everyone said the two of them were bound to fight each other, but, against all odds, Ve and Vili grew up to be the best of brothers.
Gods, goddesses, and demigods were simply vessels for something even greater. For example, there was the god of the sun, the goddess of love, the god of darkness, the god of sickness, and the goddess of summer.
Each of these gods represented something higher and greater than mortals. However, all of them could be separated into two large groups: the good and the bad. Light and dark.
Where there is light, there will also be darkness... And the darkness will always try to defeat the light...
During the end of the world, the darkness sought to swallow the light and destroy everything that was good. At that time, Ve and Vili stuck together.
Their brotherhood was so strong that when the end of the world arrived, the two of them did not fight against each other.
Vili did not join the other dark gods from trying to annihilate the world, and Ve did not want the gods of light to hurt his brother. The two of them fought back to back against their enemies, until all the gods of darkness, the "bad" gods, were killed.
The only remaining vessel of darkness was Vili, the demigod of darkness. Naturally, the "light" gods, or the "good" gods, wanted to kill him too.
Ve did not want his brother to die, so he pleaded with the gods to spare his brother's life. The gods and goddesses of light did not listen to him -- they told Ve that, if he cared so much about his brother's life, then he could just die with his brother.
...In the end, Ve and Vili did die together. They were turned into stone and stayed together. The stone, Fratres, was, supposedly, the two of them who had been turned into stone.
After listening to the tour guide's explanation, Feng Yongrui tilted his head and scanned the legendary rock. Actually, the rock was rather worn out already, so the shaped of the "two brothers fighting back to back" wasn't really visible.
However, the tour guide was explaining in an excited voice, pointing to the rock and explaining the shape.
"This one is the head, you can even see the little bits of expression over here..."
"This part is the hand. You can see that it's clenching something. It must be the weapon that he's holding..."
"This one is Ve, and the other one is Vili..."
Feng Yongrui looked at the rock again and pursed his lips. No matter how he looked at it, it was just like a normal rock.
It seemed like the rock was pretty normal, but people with extremely good imagination would be able to concoct a story based on the various shapes of the rock...
"Host, the System has a special skill... It allows you to see what certain things originally looked like," the System's voice suddenly rang inside his head.
"...I have to pay, right?" Feng Yongrui asked flatly.
"Ehehe... Host, it's just a small fee..." the System was laughing nervously and Feng Yongrui rolled his eyes.
Feng Yongrui didn't want to buy this skill because it would probably be useless, but he was curious about the price. He wanted to know, just how much points did the System want to rob from him?
"How many points do I need?" Feng Yongrui asked.
"Ding~ 120 points have been deducted~~ Host, please enjoy the 'Vision of Time' Skill~~" the System said cheerfully.
Feng Yongrui: "..."
"Give me back my points!" Feng Yongrui roared inside his head.
"I never said I want to buy it!" he cried.
"Host, you didn't say you 'did not want to buy it' either," the System gloated.
Feng Yongrui's eyes almost popped out of his head, because he was glaring murderously at his surroundings. He couldn't glare at the System, since the System was in his head, but he could glare at the stone that caused all of this!
"I want a refund," Feng Yongrui hissed at the System.
"A refund? Host, that is not possible," the System said, "It's stated clearly in the terms and conditions~"
Feng Yongrui: "..."
