"You better watch it, bitch!" Iggy exclaimed angrily.
"Forgive me, ma'am! It was an accident, it would not..." The waitress began as Dianne interrupted instantly.
"Let me teach her a lesson, ladies like her don't learn. They wouldn't understand the hard work we put in these!" Dianne defended Iggy just for her to catch Iggy's attention. Iggy turned to her as she protected while the waitress exited.
"And you are?" Iggy began with a daunting stare then snapped coldly.
"Anyways, we should wash some stains off!" Dianne reminded. Iggy rolled her eyes cringing and she started in the way of the restroom, before Dianne followed she had given the Don a pricking sexy stare. Castro was watching close and smiling because he knew that Dianne would definitely cause a stir, he was expectant as well, he wanted clues to an easy job.
While in the restroom, Iggy faced the mirror taking a wipe from its box to take off the droplets on her dress, while Dianne stood behind leaning on the wall that divided the toilets, she popped her jaw into her palm while the other hand supported the arm, she squeezed her lips stylishly contemplating on a captivating word, she noticed that Iggy was as rude she was.
"How does it feel like to have the most of everything if not everything? Especially the Don?" Dianne asked, she hit nail. Iggy smirked, she squeezed the tissue throwing it into the water bin, she opened her clutch purse taking out a powder brush.
"How does it feel to have not even a dime of everything as well as not having the Don?" Iggy asked sarcastically.
Dianne felt overly overridden by that question because deep within her, she knew she had nothing and was willing to take everything. She smirked to hide her disappointment.
"How would I possibly know when I'm not lacking yet not having everything I should?" Dianne asked again, Iggy was little impressed at her response. She turned to her slowly smiling faintly.
"I can swear to you that I was there once, nothing felt enough at a point and I needed more to just what I had..."
"That explains everything, you are finally where you need to be. Obviously!" Dianne added, they both smiled at each other.
"I think I'm gonna need you around anytime soon!" Iggy acknowledged then turned to the mirror once again to polish her lips with a lipstick. Dianne was excited over her first step.
"I'm Iggy Russ Dickson and you are? I'm bad at guessing...."
"Dianne Browne!" She Snapped with a tight smile. Iggy turned to her fully leaning on the wash hand basin, without an underestimating stare this time.
"I'm a business woman, a critical thinker...an expedient woman. Let's hear from you?"
"Well! I do anything that keeps my money rolling and long!" Dianne snapped confidently, Iggy like the first impression and aura around Dianne.
"Dianne Browne!" Iggy called with a smile and affirmed with a stare. She dipped her fingers into her clutch purse and took out a card. "Here's my card, do well to text or call me 'coz I'm organizing a party. I might need a hand! Undoubtedly!" Iggy stated firmly "Nice to meet you!" She handed her the card then walked away.
"I guess this is my lucky charm to meet the Don. Oh my word!"
Dianne whispered to herself smiling as well, she followed from behind. Dianne and Iggy went over to the Don's area, Dianne made sure to capture his attention once more before returning to her seat.
Castro smiled giving her an applause because he was certain she has gotten something beneficial.
"Sweet Dianne!" He complicated as she approached foppishly.
"Darling Castro!" She answered, she sat next to him
She took out the card to show him proof, he couldn't stop smiling.
"Now that you have established a relationship, a fonder one, it will be a dreadful end!" He stated outrightly
"I couldn't think of any other way! Getting close to Iggy would never be a hindrance. Its a milestone.!" She snapped icily.
"I knew you'd return with something better than just good!"
"The truth is..." She turned to the Don's direction abs continued "...he would have a better view of me. I'd appear to him every time of his life, I would watch over his affairs like the hawk hovering in the sky." She turned to Castro's unshaken gaze. "How on earth can it be impossible for him to not notice me, Castro? If you were the one, would you not say a word? At Least?"
"Of course I fuckin would! But remember, while you play the game of cards, do not forget the teacher!" He warned politely, he knew what her intentions could possibly be.
Minutes on,
The Don's eyes wandered about the club, searching for that lady that first assisted his wife then exchanged sexy gazes. His wife noticed, she rubbed his arm lightly to draw back his attention
"Honey, are you looking for something while I'm here?" Iggy teased
"Not at all!" He turned to her immediately, maybe he shouldn't have looked harder when his gorgeous wife was present. He reasoned. "Who was that woman you had a brief chat with earlier at the restroom?" He asked, he couldn't resist questioning after that.
"She's just a lady, don't worry about her you know! She's just one of those girls, honey. Do you have a problem with that, I could cut down the shrugs before they sprout." She suggested teasing with a smirk. Shee smirked too.
"I'm only wondering after all! She's nothing reasonable I guess. Maybe I wouldn't have to see her in the future right? Your suggestion is to my interest. Si? (Yes)" he opted but he didn't mean it, deep inside he was eager to see her.
"Of course, Honey!"
While on the drive,
Dianne and Castro had headed out of the club house, he glanced at her off mindedness, her right arm rested on the window, looking through it, gnashing her teeth. He cleared his throat to capture her attention. Suddenly, she tuned by him abruptly.
"What's going through your mind, gorgeous?" He asked
"My mind? Haven't you heard that the mind of a woman is complicated?" She asked as he nodded lightly in agreement "so even if I take my whole time explaining, you wouldn't understand Castro!" She stated coolly
"Hmm!" He cringed "Well, you know I could always help whenever and however be it whatever..." He offered
"Yes Yes Yes Castro, how can I ever repay you?" She stated a little bit sarcastically as he smiled, he felt teased. The sassy aura of this woman engulfed him, her cleavage was brought to it's exposure, it was one thing to focus and another thing to keep up with her glows. He's always had a thing for Dianne, in a nutshell, he loved Dianne but would it be palatable for him to spill his mind or would he rather keep them to himself?! He thought.
"I was thinking we could go to my place, yunno, eat some cakes. What'd you think?" He opted
"Poor Castro, I am not interested in your gesture. Rude?" She turned to him tilting her finely shaved and aligned dark brows. He felt damned, he shouldn't have tried anyways, he thought his face depicted disappointment, she noticed. She slid her fingers on his thighs, his heart fidgeted, she barely touches him. He couldn't believe it, Dianne was rubbing his thighs even if it was swift.
"I might wanna make some pancakes actually, I fuckin hate that face!" She said as she rubbed his chin again, he smiled, he felt better.
"I thought you'd never want that!" He said
They both entered his luxurious apartment on a safe neighborhood, you could never suspect something dubious if asked. She took off her overcoat and sat on the coffee brown sofa, crossing her legs whilst he headed to the kitchen after requesting a minute.
She took out her phone from hr clutch purse, she typed in DON DICKSON, she was still eager to find out about the Don, it felt like a new addiction aside, deceiving and murdering men. Same information that Roscoe had provided surfaced except for the financial transactions' data, she shrugged, she expected something different, she wanted a direct access to the Don not the usual. She thought about his outdoor activities. There was only one result to that search, the casino. She let out a smile of content, sh zoomed in his photo once more, he was around his late thirties, she wasn't really interested in him but his wealth seemed pretty much attractive to him. Castro approached as she excited the page then flung her phone on the couch instead.
"Here we go, I hope you like it!" He kept the tray on the table inches away. She smiled accepting the red wine instead.
"How about a toast to a new win, it's normal to celebrate in advance, right?" She calmly stated
"Definitely!" He didn't take off his eyes while she took a sip from the glass, she turned to his fixed gaze, she smiled again.
"You are endowed, Dianne. I wish you could see it!" He complimented heartily
"Obviously Castro, don't tell me that you've fall in love with me?" She teased, husband heart was unstable, it was a yes. "We are partners in crime, malicious crimes i must say!" she added, it didn't make sense to him.
"Should it be a malicious crime for me to fall in love with you, gorgeous?" He asked and he meant it.
"Maybe!" She snapped as she turned away from him "I've never fallen in love with a man Castro, I don't know how it feels like to love a man. I've only loved my father, that's the extent I can go, I've never extended the affection to anyone!"
"Not even your family?"
"Not even them, I'm forced to live with them. It's a promise I made before my father passed away, he had big plans for us---for me! He wanted something different, he wanted a good life for me Castro..." She paused taking a sip again
"It's crazy how we correlate in most aspects! I've got just you Dianne, I'm a whole new person around you!" He said then leaned backwards "I think you know me better!" He smiled
"Maybe I do, Castro you never can tell!" She leaned backwards too, he's been a friend from ever since she joined in the undercover missions, he introduced her to Roscoe.
Years earlier, he found her standing beside the university's gate holding some papers in her hands, looking confused. He pulled over his car, and approached. After an intense and persuasive questioning, she narrated her current dilemma, some male professors of hers wanted more than she could offer, her endowments was interpreted in a different manner.
Her father had just passed away, she had money to pay her tuition fees yet her younger sister, Layla, needed to go to school. She bashed her dreams of becoming a lawyer, she gave it up. Castro took her in and that's how it all began.
"Do you remember that time you found me, that was a life changer. You are a definition of a true friend!". She added as he smiled
"That's when I found a new family,I knew that you were more than what the world sees, they can judge you but I would never judge you!" He said, she gave a tight smile. They both turned to each other, they both leaned forward staring at each other, could there be a tinge of love or lust in the air, who could tell?
"I'm one hell of a selfish woman, Castro. You don't wanna do this!" She blurted out calmly as always
"I've always known you Dianne, I know everything so what could be new to me? I knew you before i met you, the university wasn't the first!" He shrugged away with a faint smile. He wouldn't understand her statement, she thought inside. She rubbed her neck gently then turned to his fixed gaze, he extended his finger interlacing her wavy dark hair around it.
"Castro!" She called put in slight distress as he cupped her chin, tilting her face towards his. His lips possessed her for a duration of 5 seconds. He refrained slowly as she stood like she was shocked, maybe she was, she wasn't sure herself.
"Whatever Dianne." He snapped in a cool tone "I know you kinda don't feel a thing for me. I get it! But I can't help that that I feel you, I thought I didn't but there's no doubt that I..." He was still explaining when she possessed his lips instead, he felt like heaven.
If there's one person she has compassion for in the world's entirety, except her mother and daughter, it was Castro. Her had a better and softer place in her life. There was no way she could extend her selfishness babe greed towards him.
She slowly dropped her phone on the table beside them, wrapping her arms around him, he respected the access she had provided. He trailed wet kisses from.lips to her neck, emerging to her cleavage, she looked up to the ceiling.
Maybe it was time to pay back the favor, they've been friends and partners for over two years and it feels like they once shared their childhood experiences.
They laid on the sofa as the kiss grew intense then she pulled away.
He was disappointed but the understood, he wanted this woman badly. He was harder than he expected.
"Castro..." She began as he interrupted adjusting himself on the sofa
"It's okay, Dianne! I fuckin lost it...its just that..." He scoffed "Its fuckin good huh!" He rose up, she joined. Taking her overcoat, phone and clutch purse.
"Castro, are you mad at me?" She asked "Anyways, I got to go! I'm not sure if i wanna do this just yet, Castro! I'm a fuckin selfish woman!" Her icy voice took charge, he choked instantly
"Fuck that, Dianne, fuck that!" He almost yelled turning to her, she wasn't startled. Castro acts crazy if he feels he's losing. He drew close to her again, he gently tucked her hair behind. He leaned forward, her cologne blew him away. "Do you think I'm not good enough?"
"Who's talking about the good and the bad side, we both know the truth! We are not in love with each other Castro..." She defiantly added
"Then what is?" He snapped "If this ain't love, what is?"
"Its just one of the dirty games men play. See some fine ass and wanna bang on it, that ain't me Castro, not this girl right here!" She fired back as she pointed at herself swiftly. "Take me home!" She demanded, she walked out of the apartment. He cringed a little, of course he'd take her home. He followed her from behind, she was sitting for him.
